I agree with your argument that they consider sex as an obligation rather than a means to satisfy their natural desires. In rural towns, women's role in our society boils down to bearing children and Cooking / Homemaking.

However, I believe Ethiopian version of Christianity differs from what is practiced in the Philippines or the US. In the US for example, the predominant religion is Evangelical Christianity. There are religious nut jobs in the US if you go to the southern states. But, the girls are horny as hell and revel in their sexuality. They are okay with giving head and might do other staffs like anal sex.

But, Orthodox Christianity is literally too orthodox. And tends to hinder the sexuality of the both genders. Through its teachings.

I was talking about the hotel. Actually, I was arguing for him not to stay at Eliana Hotel for the reasons I mentioned. I was telling him there are cheaper and GF hotels in a better location.

In response to your question, I have never banged a street walker. However, I heard that, for overnight stay, the price varies from 1000- 3000 ETB depending on the quality of the girl (applies for SW / Bar / Lounge). Typically, 1000-1500 ETB for SW.

Nevertheless, I know that there are some "high-end" escorts asking from 100 USD upwards for overnight sex. In the black market, 100 USD is worth almost 4000 ETB which is a lot of money.

ETB (Ethiopian Birr) is a "pegged" currency as opposed to a free-floating currency. Thus, if you go the bank, you would always get less than 28 ETB for a dollar. Better to exchange your money in the black market and then should do your mongering in local currency, I believe.

For short session, 500 - 1000 k ETB is the norm.

In the MPs, they would ask you a 500/600 Br for Full Service. That is on top of the house fee, which is usually 200-250 ETB. IF you pay more than that, definitely a ripoff.

That is right. I was referring to the hotels / Guest Houses. Ethiopian women are conservative when it comes to sex. And, In both religions being promiscuous and sexual is hugely frowned up on. Public display of affection is equally unacceptable. Although, things are getting better gradually as the society is increasingly being exposed to globalization. Lina no longer works there, I called her about 10 days ago and she told me she quit working altogether. And yes, I know Mafi, skinny girl, real mediocre massage. Her extra service is also poor. Many times you pass them without realizing they are SW, I guess they cater to the wealthier clientele who wants a bit more discretion than Mickey Leyland provides. Example, plenty behind the hotel just past the Turkish restaurant. Place is a bit dark though.

I went that way a couple of times. The Turkish restaurant is good for lamb kebobs. Stopped for beer a few times. In fact I could connect to the Sapphire Wifi from there. Nearly all Ethiopian women are approachable, but not so sure if they're wg though. I saw plenty of beggars\dodgy characters going home that way.
