I am in Addis staying at the Bole Skygate Hotel, very close to airport. The area is nice in terms of safety, restaurants and things to do during the day, but it's missing our secret fun in the night!

Thursday night I tried the Black Rose Bar (or Rose Bar as it's known to Taxi drivers). I was last there in 2005, so it was not at all how I imagined it.
