I once wanted to withdraw some money from an ATM on Mickey Leland street. (next to the Commercial bank on the street).

In front of the ATMs there were 4 muscular guys dressed in full suits. I kept my distance and started talking to them.

In broken English they asked if I wanted to withdraw money.

I said yes. They made way to let me pass to the ATMs.

I asked who they were and they told me they are guards appointed by the bank.

Having noticed the actual bank security are scrawny old men dressed in green uniforms I knew this was a call to mug me.

I quickly told them my ATM works with Zemene Bank only (none of the ATMs were from Zemene) and told them I will be back with my girlfriend in a bar to withdraw the money from the ATM there using her card.

They happily sent me on my way saying "Well come back ferenj (Ethiopian version of Muzungu). " They were trying to say you are welcome to come back and withdraw.

Stupid robbers saw me go on my way without making a single move to detain me.

I quickly went to the bar I was drinking from asked a friend to come with money, settled the bill, went home, and took a nap to relieve myself of the headache I got from trying to use broken English and understand their broken English.

I usually stay in Friendship Hotel or Kaleb Hotel in Bole Area, pick up usually from A / V nightclub (Sam building of Friendship Hotel), but not being there since COVID situations started, so not sure what's happening now.

I am coming back to Ethiopia after two years.

I have previously mongered around junction of Mickey Leland street and Atlas road.

I went for Morocco bath yesterday, GreenSpa (new name DurSPA), Olympia, 700 birr, girl Alem, little English only, Ok: 1,5 hours extensive wash and steam bath, all the old skin got scrubbed away, good job, but no Sex at this place.

Does anybody know a place with NURU / Body-to body massage when doing Morocco bath? Like in the soaplands of Thailand? Or at least some playing around with each other?

I see many signs "morocco bath" but actually most places just without such facilities- without having a proper wet chamber.

SAMRAT Hotel has an Indian Chef de Cuisine and you can go there for Indian / Chinese food. A nice change to Injera.

Dire Dawa- interesting town, compared to crowded Addis Abeba. Many main streets built with 4 lanes, separated by a middle strip with trees. Floating traffic by Bajas 3-Wheelers, no stuck traffic like ADD. Hot but dry climate. Took MEKONEN Hotel for 150 birr = 3 EURO, LOL, but I profited from interesting talks with the owner who speaks French, Italian, etc. Most rooms are taken by long-time occupants. Shared bathroom.

WOW-Massage took my interest. Sabia, Bereket Mall, off 2 street behind. Baja 50 birr from old Railroad Station. Took cute girl SiFAN, she looked like a Model to me, firm body. She appeared to be an unfriendly, severe look, but I wanted her. 250 birr massage. She gave a rough, strong, hectic massage. Finally, she came around my best parts. 1500 she typed on her phone. Honestly, I was in accra, nairobi, mombasa, malindi, lamu, douala, cape town and johannesburg. Nothing looks as run down as Addis Ababa.

An amazing amount of beggars, crippleds and blinds to be found anywhere. During the day you will be hassled by tons of blind and crippled people on the sidewalk and each time your cab stops at a traffic light.

Another weird thing as opposed to Ghana, Cameroon, Kenya and south africa is the flies. The climate must-be very fly-friendly as anywhere during the day we had flies following us and sitting on us. The locals don't even bother to wave them off, neither do the white expats. . .

I travel in Addis Ababa in (Feb 04 2020) beggars every where and pickpockets morning and night (I can't walk by my foot) the only way to get from point A to point be is that you have a privet driver and you will be inside the car all the time.

I was in trinity hotel in Cameron street front of Edna mall back in this days 2020.

The (sex price is for one shoot 2000 birr) inside the massage spa if you want to (pick up the girl and go to your hotel the price will be 3000 birr for 1 h sex = 100 US Dollar).

And the prostitute in the night club the price for sex in your hotel for full night the price range is 5000 birr to 6000 birr = 166 to 200 US dollar depends on the woman when she give you the price and your barging, I had to much fun.

I was able to find easily girls in any town (Addis, Lalibela, Gondar, Bahar Dar, Butadjira, Debre Zeit, Ambo, Dire Dawa, Harar).

I always went evenings in some bar. I newer had any problem to take any girl in the hotel with. I newer had any problem in any hotel. No one asked for some special payment to bring girl with.

Price was usually 10 to 15 USD per night. Usually they refuse to stay shorter then the whole night, because they do not like to walk in night alone in the streets.

The girls were usually not so much in oral sex (quite often the first reaction was laugh), but some get used to it after some time.

I like anal sex and I was quite successful to have it in Ethiopia. Roughly in 50% of cases I was successful. I was polite. In the bed (usually after the first "round") I asked for anal sex.
