I wanted to change from my previous night disappointment, I got a contact from my hotel security guy. The girl told me to come over to her guest house where I was able to choose the girls. Asked the security guy if it was safe to go, he said it was so I did what I would have never done before, I tool a risk and that was stupid of me. I do look like a local so I was not afraid to give it a try. Took a taxi from front of my hotel and went to the address in Meskal Flower. The guest house looked run down in inner streets. I told my driver to wait for me in case I I didn't like it. The owner of the guest house came out to receive me. She was over weight and not my type but I came over to see the other girls. She invited me in, walked with upstairs and a skinny guy appeared from nowhere behind me. I was alerted and turned around to show that I am ware of what's going on. She told me he was the waiter coming to see what you need to drink! I told her he was too close and needs to keep his distance.

I sat in a room that was clean enough but was kind old with peeling paint. I told myself if I am still alive, no way I will have sex in this building, not romantic at all.

Here come the surprise, she told me the girls are busy no girls were available, but one girl is on her way in 5 min. I know what 5 min means in Ethiopia, so I thought this is clear trap and I quickly started my escape plan. I called my driver and told him to wait by I need to leave this place, walked down stairs and found the owner waiting and asked me where I was going, I told her I need to eat and will be back after having some food! She laughed and said "you are sacred?" hiding my nervousness I told her sacred from what " you don't look scary" I told her. I quickly headed to the main door. She told me, you are not leaving on foot, you must have a taxi, the ***** was worried about my safety, told her my driver was waiting out form me. I got out a live and as I entered the car I saw a girl walking into the building, I got out of the car and the guest house owner saw me coming back and told me this was one of the girls she wanted me to meet. I said OK, what is the deal, I liked her she looks a gem! Surprisingly the she told me to negotiate directly with her and left me. The girl asked me short or long, I tend to go with short, so she asked for 2500 for short I countered with 1500 and she accepted. Back to my hotel and they asked for her ID, he comes the spoiler, her ID was fake and not readable! I am staying in a five start hotel, nowhere they will make that up. She had to leave as the hotel is very strict on entry without ID.

Again my adventures in Addis have proven to be risky and fruitless. I have given up on looking for having fun with girls in Addis. It is not worth it.

Advises for Africa in General.

1. Once you are close to talk about money, tell the girl clearly (don't talk in USD), this usually 50% decrease the money she is looking for.

2. First steep offer the girl (in local currency) value equivalent to (15 to 25 USD), depending on the girl and country / place).

3. Any paid value over 100 USD is a confirmed theft.

4. Understand that some girls are really classy who doesn't work a lot, that's why they ask for high money, but these are exceptional, other girls trying that just ask high numbers as a start for negotiation, you should use your mongering since / experiences to define who is who.

5. This is not Europe, you should ask girl about what you want in details, and agree that payment will be against these exact services / attitude, and pay last, never first (agree on that early also).

6. Even if prostitution is legal, deal with them by the illegal business rules, so never trust them.

7. Ethiopian and East Africans usually are nice people and less aggressive compared to west African, but you need to be nice with them too, even if you deal with a hooker.

On a short trip to Addis, went to the Dome club at Concorde hotel, very disappointing compared to last year, not many girls and the atmosphere just sucks. First girl spoke to wanted $200, told her 'I am not intending to buy you babe', the 2nd girl said the same but agreed to 2500 BIR for all night. Back to my hotel and the girl has sever symptoms of Ethiopian sex syndrome which translates to the worse sex you can ever have where the girl simply lies down and doesn't engage, I have had this with 70% of girls from clubs, they are sharks, only know to haggle and ask for more money but they don't deliver their end of the bargain.

Go to Piazza or Chechnya. Forget clubs in Addis.

You are 100% right, I had a second experience and got lower rate without much pushing.

Already left Addis, but next time I will consider your advice in my next trip.

Depends on the girl. You could have gone all night with a girl or two with that money tho.

I did everything correctly, I checked everything around, I know all the guest friendly hotels now in the area, even my hotel (friendship international) confirmed to me that 1 guest can come for free (no 20 USD for the first guest), I got info for all hotels through confirmed info, I nearly know the policy of each hotel in the area regarding WGs.

So tonight I left my hotel around 12 PM to the road to find my catch (area between Edma mall and friendship hotel) , completely nothing, then went back to the bar of Monrach hotel, and found completely nothing, just normal people.

Went out again at 12:30 AM, and still only beggars, criminals and taxi drivers, but no single sign for a girl..

Just knew that Friendship International Hotel is OK with 20 USD Payments to let the gust come with you.

Any other hotel in the Area which let your girl come with you with no money / registration?

I saw an old review mention Siyonat Hotel as a very good. No stopping at all hotel, is it still the same now, or things changed now?

First time in Ethiopia, more used on girls on Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Dubai.
