Clubs in AA never stay long. There was "Alicee Club" long time ago (2010?) on Bole road, which I loved. It moved to 2 locations, 1st one was on a roof.

Thanks for your response. The one I saw already is Hanna from Hani MS located behind the millennium hall. I went to rozina MS and boy, the place is shitty as hell. My first visit was in 2007. A lot of SW's around Piazza. Fun time. Second visit in 2015. Only very few SW's in Piazza, some older ones on Bole Rd. Sorry man, I guess I missed your timeslot for an answer but for anyone else here's a few pointers:

Firstly It may be called the Intercontinental but its no relation to the Intercontinental IHG chain.

No, its simply some African bloke built and hotel and named it Intercontinental, although it seems he's lost a court case with the real IHG group and has to cease using the name 'Intercontinental Addis'. ".

So its a roughly 3. 5 star hotel. And the coffee there gave me the runs, so make sure your cup is clean before drinking.

OK, bad news over. The good news is they'll happily (like most African hotels) do early checkin if you rock up a bit early, like off the overnight flights from Europe. There was an upmarket hooker trying to make eye contract with me in the bar, and I think you'll be able to get a reasonably dressed one into the room no problem. Maybe a bit more difficult with a badly dressed, p smelling street rat, don't know never tried.

More importantly. Its bang in the middle of Kasanchi's, one of the older RLD's of Addis. So in answer to the question, yes, simply cross the road at the front, walk either to the left next to the Jupiter hotel and opposite that is a road of shack bars that goes up to a tasty restaurant called Romina. After dark there will be several wg's on the prowl. Nothing too fancy recently although I have pulled some gems out of that loop. Also coming up from the shacks, take a right at the littel roundabout, the bars on the corner usually have a couple of girls trying to pull you in. Its not top of the line remember, I haven't seen anyone that lights my fire recently. If you take a right your can take another right at the end of that road and basically walk in a square past the Intercontinental. On the last leg of that square you pass an open area they're developing, there's always a few wg's trying their luck there.
