The two most popular places when I used to visit addis were Memo and Dome in Concorde hotel which is underground. I think you may have gone to Memo's. Or it could be illusion which I have heard is a new night club. Pretty sure it was Memo, however, memo is I believe just off bole road towards Meskel square.

I was in Addis the middle of August with my Ethiopian girlfriend from Dubai. One night she took me to a nightclub but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called. It was western style disco with plenty of cute ethiopian ladies who according to my g / f were available. The place had loads of korean guys in. Try going back on a weekend. Seems you were there on a Wednesday night? It should be compared to Memo's. Lot of pros. Not Chuchu's where anything goes.

I was in Awassa last night and checked out the Family Entertainment place mentioned in a previous posting. It's actually called Family Club. Its a small club, very dark inside iwth a modern lightshow blasting laser-type lights everywhere. Music iis good but way too loud. There are several girls present, all OK soe stunning. They wear short skirts and skimpy tops etc but they seem to be there just to decorate the place. I saw no or very little interaction. They certainly do not approach the guys in there like they did in Chu Chu or other places in addis. Lots of young ethiopian guys there to dance. Certainly and interesting place to visit but not exactly 'wild' as described, at least not on my visit. To get there from Hotel pinna walk down the main road towards the lake from the hotel and take first right after a couple of blocks. Carry on past first road that crosses this and Family Club is on the left a little way down there. Lots of SW's about as well.

Hi everyone, I was just in Awassa recently and can say the selection of massage places has improved quite nicely. The nicest is Happy Up and I have gotten very good service there from some of the girls (topless, ass / prostate massage). I also tried Classic Touch (on the road to Lewi Resort) which was also very nice from a massage perspective although there wasn't any girls to choose from and the HJ at the end was rather mechanical. The third is called White Bird and I went there during the day time. Not the nicest premises and I only tried one girl but it warrants a second visit before passing judgment. These last two both have steam and Classic also had morocco bath. BTW, all these places are on the wide tree-lined road that runs paralel to the lake.

If you are looking for more serious action, the "Piassa" area has a lot of Christmas light bars, streetwalkers, clubs, basically the "Chechnya" equivalent of Awassa. A lot of pros working there. I don't know prices but would estimate around 200-300 for ST. I did have a drink at the aptly named Family Entertainment. This place was wild! Girls wearing next to nothing and some real cuties (7-8). Had three different dance floors all with different theme! Overall a similar experience to Memos in Addis but the decor a lot crazier and the girls wearing less.

Agree with you there. Awassa is a very nice town. Small but with enough activity, prefer it to the hustle and bustle of Addis.

i think the board would say that these spa are not at all like thailand. as highlighted in the various reports, there is usually only a few masseuses of varying attractiveness and most not dressed as they would be in bkk. tends to be more therapeutic massage with hj option at the end for many but not all. in my experience over the past 5 years, i have not found or reviewed here many who give fs or more than a hj. however, if you find a massuese you like and she is good, it is possible to ask for their number and set up a time to meet or simply go to a near by pension or guest house for a bit more like fs. i have had success with this approach as well. i a have also found that if you offer to give them a bit of a massage after they have finished with you that they can be very receptive and encouraging. ymmv. good luck.

based on this and other info on this forum, it would seem that venues like bakal and memo would be the most reliable options for a short-time visitor who wants a taste of ethiopian pussy. i know streetwalkers are everywhere but according to reports here they seem too unpredictable or filthy.

I am expert about Thai and Philippines, but never been before to AA. So I am curious to try ethiopian destination, because so many pretty girls on pics. I studied the forum, and I find there are not so many opinions about hotels.

In BKK you can go to Majestic, and you are sure to be near to Nana nightlife; in Manila at Hilton or Exe Plaza. But in AA? I found two 'candidates' hotels: Ras in Gambia street and Baro near Piazza.

Ras is a little more expensive (27USD vs some less) , but may be a little more better. Baro has other hotels door to door (so, if full, no problem) , in the center of action, but may be a little worst for cleaness and hot water, not always available. I read it, I don't know about.

I read Baro is very girlfriendly. And this is good, but Ras? Anybody was there? Totally girlfriendly without problems or extra payment? And last questions: calling them by phone will be ok to have a reservation, or it will disappear? And they have security boxes on their offices?

Was back in Addis making my massage rounds the past month. It's raining so what else to do? Most of these have appeared at some time or another in the forum, but here's my 2 birr nonetheless.

- Helen (Bole / Peacock). Very mixed experiences. Went in one time and walked out because the whole place smelt of cum. Had good experiences with Hana (cutie, thin) and Hazeb (less attractive but gave ass massage and blew air on cock). Also had a few morocco baths with semi attractive girl which featured a short massage and HJ at the end. My guess is most girls will do topless / touching at this place but I haven't tried. This place gets real busy on weekends, which is also a turn off for me.

- Helen (Novis / Antica). New one. Cleaner and more spacious than other location, and a few cute girls. - Nexus (in Meskel Flower area). Mixed experiences. Once with Blen, was really nice massage + HJ. Another time with a girl who was so bad I didn't even ask for HJ.

- Heli (Haya Hulet, behind Getahun bldg). Matress massage here is a classic. Some girls are really nice, though some aren't. I don't really like Amebet and Tigist, but have had a few others with girls I don't remember their name. Never had anything more than HJ but haven't asked. Lidya is very cute but doesn't seem to do matress. I read a report about Hana and I want to try her.

- Rich Spa (Meganegna, near Panorama hotel). Used to LOVE this place because they had a masseuse who would do the wildest ass massage but since has left. I wish I'd gotten her phone number.
