The above is based on living / working and visiting PNH, Cambodia for six years total, since 1993.

Is Ethiopia like Cambodia, or in fact most developing countries. In that the most accessible females (I. E. Hookers) are not locals at all but rather immigrants and minorities? In my experience whoring in S. E. Asia it is not the predominant ethnicity that works in the sex trade, e. G. Ethnic Vietnamese in Cambodia, Burmese in Thailand, etc. Maybe this would mean Eritreans or Sudanese or some such in Ethiopia dominate the P4P scene? Unless Africa is unlike the rest of the world, prostitution is a class-based profession, and this is usually tied to immigration status (often 'illegals' or refugees) and low social status.

I have observed that much of Asia has been over-fucked. I believe it is time to give the dark continent a try, beginning with the Horn of Africa. Before it too is overrun with Koreans who skew the female-male ratio and who have more money to spend than I do.

This question I am addressing to experienced punters who have been to at least 4 different countries. I will try to avoid the temptation to compare with Bangkok in 1989, K11 (Phnom Penh) in 1994, Havana in 1997, or that coastal resort in Madagascar (two presidents at the time, I forget the year). Perhaps, limiting it to destinations experienced within the last 5 years at the very oldest would be prudent. To give an idea of perspective, I am middle-age, on a budget (paying $20 short-time to get laid seems like a lot) , and have mongered in 10 different nations, including those not usually associated with prostitution, such as India and Bangladesh. My haunts are mostly in Asia (especially South-East Asia) and in the past, the Latin Caribbean. The big plus of Cuban and Dominican republic women it would seem to be that black and latin girls enjoy sex more (though I view mainland S. E. Asian girls as being generally more attractive physically).

I prefer freelancers, then brothels, and only lastly picking up girls in nightclubs. I do not drink and do not like loud music. I am not really interested in the 'girlfriend experience' either. I like to have a stable of er, stable working girls from whom to choose. I like to change partners every day or three at the most. I prefer all-night or if short-time to screw during the day. I hate going to clubs where one can't pick up girls until past midnight. I like to get to know the girls and sometimes hire them over years, but I keep our liaisons limited to business and friendship. No taking a woman back to the west for me. No sending support via Western Union. No false expectations of monogamy or love.

The perfect girl to me is petite, high-firm-small-assed, cute, clean and pleasant. If you have one night in Addis, then I would suggest that you decide where you will be staying and go from there. If the sheraton, then search the board for action at the sheraton as I have no experience at the sheraton except that there are many expensive hotties available. Regarding a spa, if you are looking for extra, then I would suggest searching the board for action though there are not many spas close by the sheraton. You would need a taxi. There are plenty of spas on Bole and other spots around addis that have been well reviewed.

At the Arsema Hotel, I shot myself in the foot. First night I was a little desperate and didn't bargain hard enough. 2nd night, I got a cutie who agreed to EVERYTHING I asked for, so I didn't mind paying her extra and honestly she deserved more. Hi folks, a bit belated but not too late I hope. Was in Addis again last November for just a few days, rather, a kinda stopover before heading to the middle east for a short term project. Was out and about one night, drifting from night club / hotel bars to hotel bars, finally ended up in one of those Christmas light bars on Djibouti road I think, just past midnight. Started to have more drinks, eventually with the lady owning the bar. She wasn't particularily beautiful but it was more the whole situation. Me getting fairly drunk and both us being alone in the bar, eventually dancing / rubbing together. As we gyrated around I tested the situation and put my finger into her pants. She didn't resist but rather liked it and put her hand into my trouser. The bar as such was open and at one occasion someone poked his head inside. Other than that we continued and eventually her knickers went down for some DATY. Having gone this far I took a bar chair and placed it against the entrance door, made her sit on it with her legs up for a little pounding. Which she didn't mind. 1. Don't book anything online. Everything, including hotels and airfare within the country, is significantly cheaper if you book it in person. Just walk-in to the hotels and ask about any special rates they have, or send an Ethiopian friend into the Ethiopian Airlines office to get your air tickets. You will save 50-75% in my experience.

2. Avoid using the taxis. Just like everywhere else, they will rip you off big time if you let them get away with it. Figure out the minibus system. It's not too complicated, and you can get anywhere around Addis riding on a minibus for between 1 and 5 birr. Compare that to taxi prices which are between 50 and 250 birr depending on distance and time of day.

3. Ethiopia time is different. Took me a while to figure out but it actually makes sense. They start their day at sunrise, so 1 am is 1 hour after sunrise or 7 am. Noon becomes 6 am and Midnight is 6 pm. Though, to make things really confusing, sometimes they use both the Ethiopian system and the Western system in conjunction, sometimes in the same sentence.

4. Don't get suckered into buying leaves. There is a similar con in Turkey where "friendly" locals will stick you with the bill for some sheesha. In Addis you may find young people coming up to you, acting extremely friendly, pretending that they just want to hang out or practice their English. After a while if they feel they have earned your trust, they may invite you to go with them to some social venue where you will be invited to sit and chew on leaves which act as a mild narcotic. Then they will expect you to pay for the leaves, maybe up to 500 birr or more worth.

5. Another popular con is kids coming up to you and asking you to fund their team's soccer ball that they need to practice or for an upcoming competition. It's sad but I suppose this probably works because a lot of people get so emotional about sports. To me it seems like buying food would be a more noble cause, but I bet not as many foreigners are moved by that cause.

Places to Sleep in Addis:

Panorama Hotel: I paid 96 USD online, I think you can probably get a room for 70 USD or so in person. Reasonably nice rooms but definitely not 4 star quality. Complimentary but not very good breakfast. No wi fi. Slow internet in the complimentary business center. Girl friendly. Far from everything, bad area.

Taitu Hotel: Rooms are between 130 and 850 ETB. Reasonably comfortable by backpacker standards, but a bit spartan by Western standards. Good restaurant. Relaxed atmosphere. Girl friendly. Reasonably priced laundry service. Right in the middle of a very busy mongering neighborhood in the Piazza. Sites, transport, and working girls-a-plenty convenient to the hotel. Some of the waitresses are very pretty but most don't speak English.

Jupiter International on Tito Ave (not Bole) : Rooms 70-80 USD and up walk-in rate. Girl friendly, but they may try to charge you for double occupancy. I brought back one prostitute from Memo here and they took her I'd and charge me 20 USD for double occupancy even though I kicked her out an hour later. On the other hand, I brought a regular girl, ate with her at the restaurant, then had her spend the whole night with me and they never asked her for I'd and did not charge me double occupancy that night. Room rates are significantly higher online, best to just walk-in. Rooms are very comfortable but still not quite up to actual 4 star standards. Reasonably fast free wi-fi in rooms, bar, and lobby. Restaurant is just okay. Free breakfast. Good gym. Room service decent but overpriced. Close to Bole and Club Memo. Also within walking distance from the Piazza though a bit far.

Places to Fuck in Addis:

The Piazza: all around the Piazza there are tons of places labeled as hotels which are actually brothels. These places have small bars up front and smaller cramped rooms in the back. Rooms are typically about 30 ETB for an hour or 40-100 ETB for all night. Lots of girls, both in the hotels and standing around on street corners.

Arsema Hotel: one of the many brothotels in the Piazza. Frehiwot is pretty and reasonably nice but also pretty crappy in bed. Nasanet wasn't much better but I liked her ass. Sara was an incredible GFE and true sweetheart that will probably spend the whole week with you and do whatever you want if you just treat her nice.

Tito Avenue: the area in front of the Jupiter and Radisson hotels also had street walkers on it.

Club Memo: this place has a reputation among locals of being only for foreigners and prostitutes, so don't expect to find any regular girls here unless they are tourists. The women inside are probably a bit cuter on average than the girls around the Piazza, but they also ask for ridiculous prices and the service I got here was not great. Club opens at around 11 pm, don't bother getting there earlier. The other clubs on Bole have regular girls in them.

Everywhere else: it's not that hard to pick up regular girls around Addis, at least from what I found. The one I met at the bus stop told me that the couple nights she spend with me were the happiest time of her life.

Gonder: I stayed at the Genetics Guest House here, which sucked, but I didn't see much around that looked better. Rooms were about 450 ETB. Big, reasonably comfortable bed did not do enough to outweigh the fact that nothing worked in the bathroom and there was only one channel on TV. I saw some bars that looked very similar to the brothel / hotels of the Piazza in Addis, so I assume that it's possible to find working girls in Gonder as well.

Lalibela: I stayed at Tikul Village, which was pretty nice by Ethiopian standards but perhaps a bit overpriced. Rooms were 42 USD for two twin beds or 60 USD for one queen. The restaurant on the premises was okay. Lalibela has some great archaeological treasures but I didn't see any place around to go mongering here, and it's a pretty quiet town.

Axum: I stayed at the Africa Hotel, which is highly overrated but still okay. Rooms were very reasonably priced at around 200 ETB. The restaurant was horrible, but I couldn't find anything better in Axum. The sites in Axum were also overrated, and I didn't see any working girls there, either, though I assume that they are around somewhere.

Glad you enjoyed the report, but I'll have to apologetically decline the invitation to share pics. For whatever reason, I view as morally acceptable having sex with prostitutes, having sex with multiple partners, having unprotected sex, taking sex pictures (with or without permission) , and fibbing a bit to get regular girls to sleep with me. But, for me, posting scandalous pictures of those same girls online seems to be a step over the line.
