Hello,
I discovered this place called Code Lounge (on the road from Edna Mall to Atlas Hotel. The right turn before you reach Atlas hotel. The one that takes to Shala Park).
They have pole dancers wearing only panties and bras. They gyrate, shake and pump their asses in your face. It's nice for a change. And the girls are very sexy.
They start around 10:30 pm. No entrance fee.
I suppose this could be a nice place to have that bachelor party (atMad Dog).
If anyone else has found a place with full nudity please share it.
Thanks!

Now that Chuchus has been closed for a while, I would welcome any ideas on possible strip club opportunities in addis. We can do Chechyna but was wondering if any of you have found a replacement for the infamous chuchus club?
Please share and pm me if you have ideas.
Cheers.

Hello,
What is the 2nd best place for mongering in Ethiopia?
I've spent 2 weeks in Nairobi, Kenya and I fill like I don't want to go to a big noisy city anymore.
Is Addis Ababa same as Nairobi? Is there a nice average size town with verified mongering options (semi-pros, pros, non-pros)?
Thank you!

I will be moving to Addis Ababa in September.
Does anyone know if there is a place there where you can get Cialis? (the real stuff, and without prescription)
And how much it costs?
Thanks in advance!

The problem of accomodation and taxi is already solved. I booked via e-mail a guesthouse near piazza for 20 USD. They also organizze me a taxi. I don't know whether it is GF but I avoid some possible stress for the first night. Maybe I stay a few days and change then to Atlas or Addis Regency.
Since the question of accomodation is posted here very often I mention the site which helped me:

I'll post my trip summary when I am back in a few weeks.

I'd book a hotel at night rather than search, anyone wandering in real late usually isn't in a strong bargaining position re a room anyway.
Its a big city, the taxi fare will depend on where you're going. The figure mentioned seems about right, and yes, anywhere in the world have small notes for Taxis drivers as it would appear to be totally illegal for them to ever have change.

In a few days I start my first trip to addis abeba. Up to now I have only visited kenya several times.
I gathered some information from this forum and from internet travel blogs. Also the lonley planet guide seems quite useful.
Since my plane arrives in the middle of the night one remaining question is what a taxi really costs at night. I only read that the normal rate should be 80. 120 birr from airport to the city center and its more expensive at night. But to what amount? I also repeat the advice I read somewhere else to change not only 100 birr notes at the airport but also 10 birr notes for the taxi.
Also I am not sure whether to book the first night online or look for a hotel / guesthouse in the middle of the night, the second option maybe cheaper but also more stressful.
Another question is where and how I can buy a mobile how much this would cost. In kenya this turned out to be easy and safaricom mobiles cost around 30 USD.

Greetings. There is alot of information on Massage Spas in Addis on the board. There is also alot of information on hotels as there are a wide spectrum. My suggestion would be to spend a bit of time on the forum searching massage and hotels and then come back with specifics. You will see that Spas in Addis do not regularly offer FS. Some do and the reports have not been overly enthusiastic. Good luck.
