Hi all, the last time I was in Ethiopia was 9 months ago, all girls at memo were asking for 100 USD plus, maybe it was what I was wearing. .

At Concorde I didn't get to manger, but very good potentials.

I have never been in Ethiopia. Unfortunately. But I am experienced in other African countries. See my reports in Ghana.

I am with you. As European. But for Americans it is the same. I always try to set myself on local financial level, for sex expanses and also for others (food, beverages, transportation, housing,.). Overpaying is always a bad choice and pollutes the "market". Accept just a 10% higher prices then local market but absolutely DO NOT OVERPAY. It is not only for sex but for everything.

Imagine that: if all foreigners go to overpay 200% no one of the locals will be interested again to serve own people (for everything:sex, food, housing, medical.). A new colonialism?

I hung around piazza a couple of nights ago. There was plenty of action, but it was also full of touts grabbing and trying to hustle 10 birr. Very annoying but some of the diamonds in the (very) rough were worth it.

Chechenya was jumping on Saturday. The yoly hotel making it a bit more respectable destination. It was craaaazzzzyyy up and down that street. Music blaring girls shouting for you etc. Dangerous with drunks, touts wearing fluorescent safety jackets and hats, even saw some real police. Didn't feel hugely safe.

Next time I'm going to make some more time to arrange a better short time hotel and maybe pig-out a little.

Yeah I know I was overpaying. But.

At the Arsema Hotel, I shot myself in the foot. First night I was a little desperate and didn't bargain hard enough. 2nd night, I got a cutie who agreed to EVERYTHING I asked for, so I didn't mind paying her extra and honestly she deserved more. But after that. Well then every girl there knew that I could afford 1000 so they wouldn't take less than that. I should have visited some of the other "hotels" nearby as there are many all over the Piazza.

At Club Memo. I don't know what else I should have done other than gone around and talked to more girls. But there weren't many in there that were that exciting to look at and I didn't want to go home empty handed. The first girl I talked to stormed off angry just for me mentioning the price of 500. And both she and the girl I eventually went home with started their negotiating at over 2000. The girls there didn't seem too desperate.

The girl that traveled with me around the country, and the girl I met at the bus stop, I had both for free.

And Sara from Arsema. If I had wanted to. I could have had her free, too after the first night. She liked me so much she was willing to go anywhere with me if I asked.

I never did. I like to meet her in normal life and then I feel quickly if I want something of her. Thats my personal stile.

For me it normally works well in many countries. But no experience yet in Ethiopia. Perhaps a culture thing?

I found the girls rather shy, but polite, sweet and above all very beautiful. One can have nice talks with them but even one or two dinners were no garantee for sex. I would say non pro ethiopian girls behave like most girls in the world and the kenyans are the exception.

I was encouraged to do so by my previous trips to kenya. But my impression was, that at daytime its not easy to find company in addis. And that seems to be the big differnce to kenya, There I just went to a nakumatt and got contacts even without asking for them. I also did not see the couples typical for kenya consisiting of 65 year old guys with white skin, white hair and their 20 year old black sweeties.

So all in all I enjoyed my stay in addis but my experiences should be rather posted in a romantic forum than here.

I should add that I did not go to clubs, discos and only checked the street action at piassa, which starts at around 9 pm. There are some nice girls which are by no means gypsy like or dirty. However I wanted to go the non pro. Daytime way and with this restrictions I found more pleasure for my heart and my eyes than for my dick.

P. S. Bole road should be avoided now because there is heavy construction work which also blocks the traffic.
