Dreamliner is not so friendly, you have to pay an extra for the girl.

Dreamliner ... girlfriendly ok .. just that the beds are so fucking hard you had better take knee protectors !

Have read good reports about Baro Hotel and Wutuma Hotel. Does anyone have experience with these two places?

Since many years I am coming to Ethiopia and I always stayed at Baro. Simple but clean. Friendly staff. No radio or TV, but hot shower. Baro has green yard and is very quiet, although in the middle of the action. If you want to travel north or south ethiopia, Baro also is a good place to start because it is meeting point for travellers you can join. At Baro I once met a guide, who joined me travelling through all ethiopia. Now we are friends for 5 years. He took me to sightseeing places in Addis and other towns (brothels, churches, massage parlours, markets etc). For more info pm me. Before I forget: price for a double room is 150 birr.

Opposite Baro you find Wutma. Rooms are nicer than Baro, but the Wutma does´nt have atmosphere than baro. Prices are the same.

Next to Baro last year a new hotel opened. you get very nice room with TV for 20 $, but negotiable. Name of hotel I forgot.

All hotels are very GF. Never any annoyances. The 3 hotels are situated in the middle of Piassa, the ancient heart of addis. There you find lot of bars with all ladies available (night 300 - 400 birr). From 8 pm also loads of SW in the streets around.

When I stayed in addis I always prefered Pissa area, because in my opinion there you also can find a lot of semipros in the street, coming only few days from the country to support their families. you can take a lady at 9 pm and stay with her a whole night for only 200 birr. If you recognise it was the wrong decision, you change. after a short time you will find a new one. Btw I like waking up at night and coming straigt to the point.

Needless to say every one should show respect to the girls, even and especially when they are poor and lowest level of society. If you treat them like this you are about to get nice GFE.

Finally at Piassa all situation is very different from Bole area, where ladies are bigheaded and expensive.

At the end my point of view to the poor people in the streets asking for money. Sometimes you read advice not to give anything. But when you come to addis you will notice even many poor domestic people giving some coins to the beggars. Take a bundle of hundred 1 birr notes (only 5 € or 6 $) and devide them in the course of 2 or 3 days. You catch a lot of smiling faces which will give you a good feeling.

Are there any good dating or internt sites to chat up Ethiopian women on before going there? I already know Afro Introductions, so I am looking for other alternatives to that one. I only have some few nights in Addis and don't have a time to do a lot of legwork when I am there.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
