Club Platinum only gets 1 mention on ISG (by Member #2001), and is supposed to feature ultra-expensive hoes (1000-3000 Birr!). Their web site says it’s the hottest and biggest disco in Africa. Anybody been there?

I took advantage of a Lufthansa promotion to buy a cheap ticket from Brussels to Addis Ababa for 499 EUR. Just finished RTTFing in preparation for the trip. I should be landing in Addis Ababa on Saturday, June 7 and will be in Ethiopia until June 17. Haven’t decided whether I will spend all my time in Addis or head up-country. Depends how much fun Addis turns out to be.

If anyone else will be in town and wants to meet up, let me know. I have plenty of punting experience, but this will be my maiden voyage to the Dark Continent.

I've spent the last 3 months in Kenya and Tanzania and am now ready to move on (my ticket takes me to Nairobi then Kampala then Addis. Wondering how much time to allocate to each. I found the situation in Kenya good. Most girls are available for 1000 KS (Euro 10) for all night. The standard is a bit mixed, but as it's off season there are not many other western guys here. I hear mixed reports about Addis. The girls have a reputation for being much prettier than elsewhere in East Africa, but it seems ore difficult to find girls on the dating and other net sites. Also hotel costs seem likley to be more expensive than here in Kenya where one can find nice rooms on the coast for 10 Euro. Any advice as to decent girl freindly budget hotels in Addis and places to meet girls?

Hi Member, I made a similar experience with a girl from memos. Than I had a psycho girl and a starfish girl. One girl was quite good, but 3 were a nightmare. So, one out of 4 was Ok. Beside sex, there isn't much to do in Addis. So, not worth a visit.

More of the psycho wench. As I said in my previous post, this girl agreed on 50 birr and then wanted 250 birr. For this she tried to extort and to some extend was successful at it. She came over about 9 pm and fucked her for about 30 minutes and spends the next 6 hours or so trying to get this money out of me. I really don’t think she had any education to speak of so she did not understand that while she was wasting her time trying to pry money out of me, she could have been working and making money. Instead she choose to waste her time speaking in Amharic, which she new enough to know that I don’t understand a word of the language, so she was basically talking to herself. LOL!!

What happened here? I am gone for like 4 months and the whole forum has changed? I need a subscription to view pics? WTF? I have known about the site since the early to mid 90’s.

Anyway, about Addis, believe me it’s not a problem to score. It just depends on how much you want to spend. Since I am a ferngi the girls always ask for like 300 birr to 100 dollars. LOL! The thing about Addis is that they all, I mean almost everyone here is out to cheat you or rip you off!! SW’s are no exception. Afrolover is right about the girls being conservative. I find that the older they are the more conservative they are. Have never done anal here but some girls I have run into do oral. I got the movies to prove it too. Won’t upload them though since I don’t have a subscription.

Not really sure about other areas here in Habasha land. I just hate paying ferngi prices on a Habasha salary. For me it’s a matter of principle. I hope to leave the city sooner or later though.

Internet here super sucks too. And combine that with the blackouts, meaning when ever the government feels like turning off the power, it makes it kind of hard to work or plan anything.

I have to tell you the truth. Out of all the counties I have been to, this one is certainly a challenge. The bureaucracy here is like nothing I have ever experienced before in my life time.

I don’t know who said that finding a place here is hard to find. For me it was no problem at all. You usually have to go through a broker and they are the scum of the earth….well next to the taxis here. They always charge you more and then the owner also wants to charge you more too. Fortunately for me, I have an apparently trustworthy owner for only 2000 birr a month. It’s on WolloSufer. Still its hard too trust anyone here.

Taxis, forget about it. Unless you get a normal taxi expect to pay 400 or 500 percent more then the normal Habasha. They don’t have meters here so the driver can charge what ever he wants to. If he sees that you are ferngi, you will get cheated. That’s why I always walk from now on. Fuck them. That means after 8 or 9 pm here I often don’t go far from my home, not that I have far to go, but I would like to get out and explore other areas of the city to see what the mongering is like.

Now for the good stuff; Bole, Bole Madania (spelling?), and more close to my home Meskal flower seem like the spots where the SW’s hang out. Meskal Flower seems to be the best bargain for me. I won’t pay more then 50 birr or 100 for an all-nighter. The cheapest I was able to come across was a hoe for 20 birr. I just had to try her out and she was not half bad. You can expect to pay around 300 birr for the girls on Bole. Also there is a street that runs from Bole to Bole Madania, but I can’t think of the name of it off hand, because the streets here have no name. Anyway you can find them there also. If you want the really expensive stuff like 1000 to 3000 birr a night you can go to Platinum or the night clubs in Piazza. It’s not my style though. Just can’t see spending that kind of money for pussy.

One thing I have noticed here about the girls is that they are not clock watchers, like other countries I have been to, including my own. I am from the states.

Over all compared to other places I have been too. Addis is expensive compared to what I make in other cities. I have a low salary here and the price of products including pussy here is expensive. I am still deciding weather or not to stay. I probably won’t know until my contract almost runs out.

Example; the girl I had the other night seemed nice enough and I was quoted a price of 50 birr. I got her home and we did the deed. The sex was not enthusiastic and then she wants like 250. Well that did not go over to well with me and she wasted her whole night trying to pry more money out of me. She then found my American passport and threatens to go to the police. I just sat there reading something or another and after about 5 hours I got tired of this shit and then I said ok. Let’s go to the police. As soon as I get her outside of the compound she pulls a runner. Big mistake! Immediately I grab her and the hole security (which I know well), come running. Unfortunately on my part they wake up the compound owner. This is like 3 in the morning. After I give here another 100 birr and apologized we went on our separate ways. Unrenowned to me I had no idea that prostitution was legal. Hell I just wanted my passport back. Next time I see this ***** I will slap her good one. Again too bad I won’t be able to upload her small vid here. No subscription and the band with here super sucks, big time.

On a side note, tonight I am not in the best of moods. Just seen someone die…. Oh shit!!! It happened right in front of the restaurant I go to often. I have never seen someone die like that before. He was hit by a car. My meal was just about to get served too. Lost my appetite soon after.

By the way, since I don’t have access to PM’s don’t even try. Besides, my work would not appreciate it if I was on this site. However I will try to keep posting from time to time.

Sorry to hear that you didn't like Addis. I never had any trouble finding beautiful (both face and body) girls. Perhaps you were just unlucky! ? But in one respect you are right: Ethiopian girls. Though they look as if they have been made for sex. Are often very conservative when it comes to the actual thing. Oral sex is not very common, anal sex even less and even the professionals are a bit unimaginative! But perhaps I was just lucky to find the girl I pictured earlier: she was absolutely incredible and insatiable and everything was possible.

When I tried to speak with girls on the street, for example ask for direction, than immediatly came some other people and try to take part at the conversation not a good opportunity to ask for a date. The better looking girls in the clubs like concord, asked usually for around 100 USD for the night. Also, the performance were very lousy. By 3 of 4 girls I regreted that I took them. One girl were very sweet and quite pretty, but couldn't communicate with her because she didn't speak English very well. Nevertheless she always tryed to tell me something which bored me alot. During the day there is not much to do in Addis and the action starts late at night. Small clubs well, I was there with an expat who lived in Addis and tried to establish business with farmer, world bank. We went to such small bars with that christmas decoration. Didn't saw good looking girls there. I planned to stay 4 weeksm but left after a few days. The only good I can say, the city was quite safe, people were friendly, Airport surpringingly comfortable. Internet cafes slow and expensive.
