I agree with Chino 83. My motto is to treat providers with respect and you will be rewarded for acting like a human being. I have not been in Ethiopia since 2003, but I was able to combine two months of work and pleasure. Remember that we are guests in their country and I had many great experiences in Addis (Concord and Hilton Hotels) and Nazareth (Safari Lodge).

Because Ethiopian women are generally not as pushy and demanding as women in many countries is no reason to take advantage of them. They are a beautiful group of people and I really love to see them break into a beautiful smile, you do not need to know Amharic to understand that!

First of all i think you should be a little ashamed for just paying 40 Birr and being proud of it, i hope you know how poor people are in Ethiopia? Its so easy to do it for free as well if that is what you want. Think about it next time and be generous. If you can´t afford it, stay home and try to do the same thing in your own country for the same amount of money, then you can write back and be proud.

coming back from ethiopia, i don't have any photo to show - sorry! i had only limited time for experience, so i went on the streets in addis in day time to look arround. i was really suprised, meeting some points, where girls were standing in small groups (like 3-5 girls) obviously were looking for guys. finally i crossed the busy street near arat kilo to speek to one of them. no word in english, but some amharic words, some signs and a smile were enough: after 2 min i went with a 18 year old girl mit big boops; the room was better than expected. she undressed quickley, refused to do a blow job but was open to any position (vaginal). i appreciated her energy and her body for a short-timer.

I had 3 days off for an Islamic holiday last week (al humdulilah) so I decided to make a dash for Ethiopia.

Flight: Cost 1560 dirhams from Dubai. Ethiopian Air has pretty good aircraft, in- seat video and all. Food and service isn't too bad. This flight never seems to be full. I always get it at the last minute. It's only 3 and a half hours from Dubai to Addis.

Visa: There's a new Ethiopian Consulate in Dubai. I got a visa there for 270 dirhams. This is more than I used to pay for the on-arrival visa, but I understand that having a consulate here will make the on-arrival visa cost about 100 bucks anyway. It takes a day to process.

Arrival: Nice not to have to wait in the visa line because the passport line was long enough. Got a taxi to the Concorde Hotel for 70 birr, prepaid at a counter in the terminal. The staff at the Concorde told me that a taxi ride from their hotel to the Hilton shouldn't be more than 25 in the day time. Maybe about 10 more at night.

I posted about my first night at the Concorde about a week ago.

As I said last week I moved over to the Hilton for the last 2 nights. It was 165 including taxes. The hotel is nice enough but not such good value. The elevators are comical, bouncing like bunjees after the doors open. It IS guest friendly though. The girl is expected to leave her ID at the security check. The guys there gave me a few good snickers when I started showing up with different girls. Also you can find girls hanging out at the lobby bar and the cafe next to the pool throughout the day and evening. There's a nice gym there, I think Haile Gabrselassie the runner works out there. Oh, and the airport shuttle from here is free for guests.

I saw that Novotel and another international chain are building near Meskal Square. Hopefully this will ease some of the overpricing at the high end of the market.

Places I met girls: Besides Concorde I was out prowling on Bole Road, the Milk House and Gas Light at the Sheraton. Milk House batted 1 for 2. The first night it was full of backpacker types. That's not so bad but there were so many of them that it seemed to discourage the local girls from coming in. The next night was better. I met Mary, who said she had seen me earlier in the day at the Hilton pool (yeah right, oh well no matter) I was certainly glad to see her now. She went back with me to the Hilton for 200.

Bole Road batted 1.000 the two days I trolled there. I found the best spot to be an outdoor cafe at the building that says New York New York supermarket on the front. It has lots of space and a good view of the constant parade of babes going by on the sidewalk. It's just down the street from the Purple Cafe, which is on the street corner just as you come over the hill from Meskal Square. Purple is also a good place to lurk, as well as another outdoor place between Purple and NYNY. Places that are mostly indoors or walled off from the street aren't as good, because you don't get to take in what's passing by on the sidewalk. I found two girls in this area just as I like them ( petite and slim). We taxied back to the Hilton, had a nice hour or two, and with 200 in their hands they were happy and on their way. These two were a bit of a blur and I don't even remember their names.

Gas Light at the Sheraton is now 0 for 2 in my last 2 trips here and I'm just about ready to strike it from the list. Maybe it's just bad timing or a case of YMMV. But both times here the number of girls has been small and the quality thereof not good either.

GE, sorry I didn't see your post until after I was already back. I would like to have tried Memos. But I have no problem making repeat visits to this town as it never disappoints. There are lots of other places I would like to try also. Down Bole Road closer to the airport there are several live band places. I've only been there when I already had girls with me. But I've seen good possibilities there with these girls getting liquored up and doing their jerky sensual gyrating thing.

Go for it! Your post evoked some happy memories. Don't forget Memos (assuming it's still there) up Bole Rd, and off to the right, as you come from the Concord. I had some great times there, and found it somewhat less crowded and a little nicer than the Concord nightclub, and it rarely disappointed me in terms of quality and selection.

I arrived last night about midnight and checked into the Concorde Hotel just for convenience of location. Dropped the bags and went straight downstairs to the club. I was afraid that the bad weather would keep the girls away. Boy was I ever wrong! There was a good selection of all body types. It didn't take long to connect up with 3 girls that said they were working for an evangelical church. If I thought that was to be any hindrance to getting some play I was soon to be proved wrong. Nightclub at Concord hotel gets going after the traditional dances which ends around 11.30. But go to the dances it is a fantastic thing to see, it looks like 6 - 7 people getting coordinated epileptic attacs in rhytm with the music. I have never seen anything like this dancing.

The girls looks fantastic with clothes on but they have not the hard bodies I like when the take them off, always a little fat. They are still very beatiful but I prefer more athletic girls.

Most of the clubs do not get cranking until about 10, so these are not good hunting grounds in the early evening. When I lived there, a number of women used to come to the lobby bar at the Hilton from about 6 to 8 in the evening. I don't know if that's still the case or not. Also the Milk Bar attracted some women fairly early, though this was strictly hit or miss.
