I was in Addis last month what a city it's such a brilliant place to get nice pussy I didn't bother that much with the clubs apart from Concord. As usual got in a Taxi and the driver took me all over the Capital lots of very willing girls on the street. I know this is the "official" rationale but it doesn't hold water. It is flattering for us westerners because it makes the other guys look so barbarous and bloody-minded. But I think they know what they are doing: they slightly modify female anatomy to make women dependent upon that thing men have protruding from between their legs. The fact that the clitoris is a masturbation organ has been recognised for some time now (e.g. in The Joy of Sex, by Alex Comfort). During intercourse it gets stimulated at best indirectly (the hallmark of a lousy male lover is one who makes a beeline for the clitoris).

Anyway, mongers would be ill-advised to discriminate against a potential sex-partner because she's cut. I guess in countries like Ethiopia, a substantial fraction of the "sexual bombs" reported in forums like these would turn out to be clitoritectomised if it were possible to subject them to medical scrutiny.

In those male dominated countries a woman has no right over her body. A husband has the right to take her when ever he wants, regardless what she wants. So, for them is the idea to please a woman strange. A woman is in such a society just a slave for her husband. If she have fun or not is not important. If a man is a good lover or not is not important. But important is that the woman have no sex with other men. Because he wants that his children are reallz his children and a woman who do not enjoy sex is perfect. Perfect for him. No danger that she will try to get sex from someone else.

Just back from Addis. I had a not very good experience for the second time with a girl in the Ghion lobby and will give up on those in future.
