Hi, I'd like to visit Garoua but I know it is a Muslim town.
Does anyone know this town? I know the girls are wonderful with bright complexion.

Frank, you are absolutely correct, the culture in Africa is totally different from the rest of the world, thankfully they dont have any hang ups nor inhibitions about sex. The girls/women just love having a good time, being bought a few drinks and yes paid for services rendered and the cost in most cases is whatever you decide to give. Its a lovely continent with many expats having a fantastic lifestyle. I intend to retire out there where money goes a long way.

The reason why there are so few details here on the Cameroon board is because they are not needed - women are EVERYWHERE and virtually all of them are available.

You don't need to know which discos are hot, or what is the best time to be at the disco, or any other details like those. You should be able to pick up a girl in any bar, disco, restaurant, cafe, supermarket, shop, etc. You don't have to be forward or say or do anything in particular - just show even the slightest interest in the girl (a smile, nod of your head) and the girl/girls will probably be all over you. I've even been able to hook up with girls in the middle of the day just walking down the street.

If in doubt, take 5 minutes and read all of the back posts written about Cameroon, by me and others, and you'll see that everything I wrote today has been written before - nothing new.

I'd be happy to write more details about my experiences in detail, but that would take at least a week and I'd probably get fired. But no need to read about the experiences of others - go out and make your own experiences! And always use a condom.

However, I heard that the police are Incredibly corrupted and can arrest tourist just because they refuse to pay bribe. Does anyone knows about it? What about personal safety? If its true it seems that Ghana is more tourist friendly.

Just to be honest my last trip to Cameroon was started and ended in the airport. I thought that as in other eastern African country I can issue the visa in the airport itself.

I was wrong. I offered the chief of police 200US$ for the visa but the fucker put me on the plan back. Now you understand why I am in panic.

Interesting story. I would be furious at the airline that flew you there. They are supposed to check for visa at check in. I recently flew to Vietnam from the USA, and at the China air counter, they made sure I had a valid visa.

Goes to show though, check first.

Coming from Singapore looks like if I want to go, I have to fly to South Africa to get a visa and off to Cameroon. Quite a hassle

You're absolutely right - getting a visa for Cameroon can be a real hassle at times. It's actually one of the more difficult countries in Africa to get a visa for.

And then they wonder why they don't have more tourists travelling there

Both cities are good, and actually very similar to each other in that in both cities one can find cheap sex and relatively-more-expensive sex, decent cheaper hotels, etc.

I've found that the girls you'll find in the small neighborhood-type bars usually expect less money that the girls in the glittery nightclubs and lobbies of the more expensive hotels, and are just as good in bed. But it depends on how 'hungry' the girl is, etc. - if you catch a girl in an expensive night club at the end of the night, and she's still available as the place is closing, she may be willing to settle for less money (she may be totally broke and not even have enough money to take a cab home).

Don't ever be afraid to negotiate with girls over money, and it's always best to settle on the price up front.

As I've written several times in the past, such as in my Nov. 11, 2005 post, every place in this country is a good place to meet girls and have sex - EVERYWHERE!

Visa cannot issue in the airport.

Was three weeks in Yaounde. New hotel Franco has broadband internet in each room, to recommend. Beautiful tempting grils are everywhere. I just chat up the young girls working in the hotels, making small talk, commending them on their beauty. Then when ordering room service its them who indicate that they need help with the monthly rent or something else. And then its easy, appointment after work to talk more about the help needed. But watch out they are all incredibly jaleous of each other! This needs carful management of their respective shifts. But its sugar sweet. For those wanting more experienced girls, around the parking lot of the hilton and in front of Djeuga Palace hotel, there are many sexily dressed girls coming and going. There is also the Dolce Vita restaurant with many girls coming to have an ice cream the whole day. And then there is real street walker action on Av de l'independence, with clubs and hotels along the way. Its a major road and quite safe in a car to cruise and choose. Cameroun is really sweet.
