Port Gentil is a pretty typical west African port. It was once a French colony and there is still a large French presence, with French being the spoken language. The capital is Libreville, which is only a 20 minute flight from here, but by road it might take one whole day. It is dead easy to fly to Libreville from Europe/Paris. The local currency is the CFA (Communauté Financière Africaine Franc). €1 is about 650 CFA or £1 is about 1000 CFA. It is used in several west African countries, not just here. There are many reliable and safe cash machines in town. It is also easy to change Euros, less so British Pounds or US Dollars.

On the girl scene, there is plenty of choice. There are no such things as brothels, not that I've heard about anyway. If you want to meet women you simply go into a bar, disco or restaurant and they will find you! Once you are at one of these places, several girls or maybe just one or even just a barmaid will approach you. All will want to chat over one or several drinks (time well spent I must say) and then after a little chat you can or they might suggest a visit to either their place (which is pretty safe) or to a motel. If it is a motel, a taxi (which are plentiful) will take you to one of literally dozens of very low key / low budget motels, which aren't obvious from the front. A degree of luck and trust on behalf of the taxi driver is required here. The room will cost between 3000 CFA and 20,000 CFA (£3 to £20) for the night depending, and will be African basic, with possibly an en suite with hot and cold taps but with only cold water form both. Never mind.

After doing the deed, you can either drop the girl back in town, or continue to stay the night, depending on what the original deal was. It is when leaving that you give the girl the money to “pay for the taxi” i.e to pay her for her time. Telling her it is for the taxi will make her feel much better, and this is important if you want to see her again. Pay her anything from 5000 CFA to 30,000 CFA. If you want this girl to be your girl then the higher amount is advisable. Either way, it is still dirt cheap. You will probably find that most of the girls are either “dirty” (excellent) or just down right nymphomaniacs. You won't be disappointed.

Word of warning, come prepared. Take a bottle of water to the motel with you, along with some quality European condoms and even some Viagra tablets if so desired. Even some lubricant in a small bottle might help, especially if she wants to be fucked up the ass! Ooh ah Mrs!

As a regular visitor to Douala, I'm very intrigued at Zouk Love's postings. Could Gabon be such a good place? I thought that as an oil-producing country, Gabon was an overpriced placed whith plenty of oil money to "spoil" the best girls.
