Now, you must admit; it's at least a cool title of this post! Maybe it will meet your expectations...

One of the things I really wanted an answer to when I first came to ISG was; what African country has the most beautiful babes? Or, more importantly; which African country has the highest DENSITY of babes? Any African country has tons of beautiful ladies, but which country has the highest concentration of them? I found a way to get - at least for me - a good picture. It may not be ultimate science. It may not be useful for anyone else but I think it is interesting enough to share it!

I first thought about asking the question to the forum, "Which African country has most babes?", but soon came to the conclusion that it would be pointless for several reasons:

* People here, as elsewhere, have obviously very different taste and preferences. To hear someone say that girls in country X are beautiful doesn't say anything if you don't know this particular persons preferences.

* Some has, but most in this forum, have not been to more than at most a few African countries. Hence, each one wouldn't be able to compare more than maximum a few countries.

* Bias. If you have had a good time in a country, you tend to be more positive than if your luck wasn't that good. Meeting one or two babes and being happy with them doesn't really answer the question; which country has the most babes?

DATING SITES

If the board is not the right place to find the answer, I needed to find a place with many pictures of girls with identifiable country of origin. There is basically only one source to go to if you want a broad sample of pictures of ladies coming from different countries; Internet dating sites. The choice was Afrointroductions as it seams to be the biggest.

Some possible drawbacks with using a dating site for a Babe Density Index is:

* Existence of fake identities. Some people on the African forums have reported that there are a lot of fake identities on the dating sites. The reason would be to make contact with guys and then milk them by luring them to send money in advance. But, on the other hand; plenty of guys have reported that they have used AI to set up dates before arrival and none of them have even mentioned the existence of fake identities. My conclusion is therefore that fake identities probably exist but it's not an issue. Also, if there are fake identities, it's reasonable to believe that they are more or less evenly spread between different countries and wouldn't mess up the statistics anyway.

* Pictures lies. I have contacted quit a few ladies and got additional pictures from them and one thing is for sure; the first picture is very often the best. Yes, pictures lies, with additional pictures the girl that was a babe is now not so high up on the list. But again, it's the same with all countries so it doesn't matter for the statistics.

* Not all countries will be represented. That is definitely true. Some countries are much better represented at AI than others. It doesn’t seam to have anything to do with the country being predominantly French or English speaking. It looks more like it is dependent on war and other factors creating poverty. Also, probably has AI just had better success in some countries compared to others. Anyway, I think the sample is good enough from a mongering purpose to at least be interesting.

HOW IT''S DONE

I haven't gone thru all ladies at AI, no point with that. I have only gone thru a filtered list that suits my preferences. This is the filter:

* Ethnicity; Black or Mixed
* Age: 18-26
* Weight: Under 55 kg (121 lb)
* Length: Above 160 cm (5 ft 3 in)

Note:

1) Only countries with more than approx 50 ladies AFTER FILTERING are taken into account. Those that had enough ladies after filtering are: Cameroon, Cote-Divore, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.

2) The statistics is calculated from the country they CURRENTLY LIVE IN, not the nationality (as that is what matters from a mongering point of view).

3) All statistics below is based on the FILTERED LIST, not on all ladies found at AI.

I went thru everyone fitting the filter, marked those I thought good looking as "Favourites" and then just continued. I have been filtering on individual countries as well and gone thru them. It has taken some considerable time but in the end I had over 400 in my list of favourites.

After having a list of "favourites" I just calculated the percentage of "favourites" compared to the base for each country.

RESULT

For all of us having Kenya as a favourite destination - I haven't been anywhere else in Africa but so far it's my favourite country : ) - it may be a disappointing result.

According to my preferences, the country to go to is..(drum, drum): IVORY COAST!!!!

How to interprete the list:
* TOTAL is the number of ladies after filtering. It didn't matter to me if they where active members or not.
* FAVOURITES are those I marked as good looking.
* % BABES is based on the number of ladies fitting my preferences compared to the base = The African Babe Index

COMMENT
Surprisingly enough it's not Ethiopia in top, which I had expected, it's Ivory Coast (officially Cote D'ivore). Kenya is actually not very high on the list at all, and believe me: as I am a bit interested in Kenya I have been adding ladies from Kenya to the "favourite" list more generously than for other countries. Still Kenya, and its neighbours Tanzania and Uganda, is totally distanced by Ivory Coast, Ethiopia and Senegal.

A way of interpreting the list is to say: You will find 4 times more babes in any given bar at any given moment in Ivory Coast, Ethiopia and Senegal compared to Kenya. In Nigeria you will find at least twice as many babes in a good bar as in Kenya.

My conclusion: I'm planning to go to Kenya next time anyway. The number of babes is good enough and I want to exploit my experiences from my first visit one or two times before I change destination. Also, an important disadvantage (for me) with both Ivory Coast and Senegal is that they are speaking French and not English. Ethiopia would be a good choice considering my preferences but the reports at ISG suggests that the ladies there are not so GFE as in Kenya. So it will be Kenya for me next time.

MOST UNDERESTIMATED

I also entertained my self by comparing the number of posted reports on ISG per country - with the Babe Index. That gives a new index; Which country is most underestimated on ISG AND which is most overestimated? The higher the index the more underestimated the country is.

Result: Liberia is in absolute top with Kenya in the bottom:

Well, it can also mean that the Kenya board is just a very good board with a lot of active contributors (not least Max/Efremof!).

A peculiarity is that it looks like most of the ladies I liked living in Ghana, are actually immigrants from Liberia (living in Ghana but having Liberian nationality)!. It would suggest that Liberia is the country to go to as soon as it becomes a little bit more stable.

THE LADIES

It would be pointless to take my word for it so I have included links to the ladies I marked as "good looking" (you can check the pictures without being a member of AI). If you have the same taste as me - then The African Babe Index is working well for you. If not, well, sorry but we are all different.
