    Evisa

The e visa is quite easy to apply for. I had two separate layovers (16 hrs & 26 hrs respectively), and I obtained 2 separate transit e visas which cost a total of $42 USD ($21 each). The approval was automatic after I clicked submit and paid using credit card. Kenya also offers 5 year multiple entry visa for American bloks for $200. I have made over 10 visits to Kenya in past 5 years, so this 5 year multiple entry visa will definitely save me some dough (previous 6 month multiple entry visa cost $100 and visa on arrival cost $50)!

I did state that but actually most African countries feature a multi tier charge scheme: citizens pay the least followed by residents followed by neighboring country citizens followed by non African tourists. Of course, children and students pay the least of all. I just choose to go to zoo since Nat Geo Wild has captured way more cool wildlife goings on than the typical safari tourist will ever see.

I was merely pointing out what rubbed me the wrong way. I still visit Africa but I am judicious in my choice of venues. So yes, I do take it or leave it. That is okay by me.

Why do you need to come to European Universities in the first place and pay all that money. Don't blame Europe for that.

Having been to National Parks similar to that of Kenya, I found they also charge more money for tourists than they do for locals.

It's a case of take it or leave it.

After a short period of e-visa only, the VOA (visa on arrival) and even the visa via embassy is back.

At least according to the website information of Kenyan embassies.

Ha ha ha ha. Very funny!

So why endless Muzungus coming to Kenya many years before, are now no more coming?

All People in Kenya are more or less corrupt. When you get robbed the Girl / the Staff from the Hotel / the manager / the police. All work togheter to get the Money from the last Tourist, stupid enough to visit Kenya again. The Girls are very nice, but it's not worth the risk anymore.

Am a local girl here though am well traveled. Except when terrorist group was hitting Kenya sometimes back, it has been safe for everyone. The terrorists, alshabab used to target people near their border and remote towns like Garrisa which isn't good. I saw security is a major concern to most foreigners and hence as a local, I know what goes on here. Just avoid walking in remote places alone, walking at night and never bribe policemen, it is illegal unless he himself is asking meaningless cash.

Lets see what happens after, this e visa thing is never going to work. Senegal just stopped with that BS.

    Rgrds.

    Neddy.
I have done E visa twice now since it was implemented and seemed to work very well. I have a visa in my email within 3 days printed it out, no more lines or filling out applications at the arrival area no more. Done in the comfort of my office!
