There is a TV in both places but I didn't stay to much looking at this one, so I can't answer about this question.
For the montly rate I think yes, but I'm not sure.

Well I was planning a short stay in Kenya on the way to South Africa, but I don't know if it's safe to monger in Kenya at the moment.

Becareful my friends be very careful. It seems the world is changing around us, imagine how bad it must be being arrested and spending time in one of the local jails! I think photos of nudity and certainly porn is illeagal in most African countries.

Perhaps Jackson could post a "heads up" on countries that have caused concern to our members.

Well I was planning a short stay in Kenya on the way to South Africa, but I don't know if it's safe to monger in Kenya at the moment.

I have been in Mombasa now for almost 3 months and have done all the things a tourist shouldn't do ( walk alone on semi-deserted beaches with your watch and wallet, walk around alone in villages , keep the window rolled down at intersections , spend time at a local guesthouse with a girl - daytime only -) and have never fealt threatened or come to grief in any way . The people here have always been open and friendly and respectful ; seems you get treated exactly like you treat others , like everywhere else I have been in the world ( except in East L.A. and similar places ruled by dope and crime).

It may be to early to speculate but it is smelling similar to another very very popular member a couple of years ago who used to frequent the Morocco board. he had quite a demise. Does anyone remember Mr. Belgul?

Glory Vilas is not bad (1500 Ks/day and girl friendly: one night I took 2 girls and no overprice), just behind the Nakumatt Nyali, not far from Tembo and the beach (it's possible to go to the Beach Hotel with a boda boda (taxi-bike) for few Ks; in the hotel there is a nice swimming pool.
In town, near the tursks there is the Windsor apartments (1100 Ks/day with breakfast, girl friendly too, not far from Casablanca); the staff is very friendly.
In the same road of Glory Vilas in Nyali there is a complex of mini appartments for 1500 Ks about. Tabou Funfun, please, can you tell me the name and telephon number? I'm in Italy, I would like to book for the next February but I didn't fint it in internet.

I am is still here and just to be correct, I didn't sold any of his photos or videos.

He was apologized directly to the girl by means of SMS and also to other member of this forum.knowing that kenya is safe is critical for me to continue to participate in this forum.

I hope to hear good news regarding my issue.

Yes, I remember Belgul.
The story is similar.
I don't know the cosequences for Efremof.
I read a report from him: he should be in Odessa. Is he a Russian?
I have noticed he has deleted all his reports al least in the Kenyan departement.
I think it was a mistake to appear explicitally in the pictures as he did.
Something is to be a tourist, remaining just for a short while somewhere, different is to be resident.
A hazard was to sell his videos.

Efremof will remain always in my mind for his pictures but also for what he wrote about the African life. He really understood and loved Africa.

Nyali is not a good choice. It is too far away from the action in Bamburi, Shanzu and the City Centre.

Apratments are easy to find in Mombasa in October. They are difficult to book over the internet, however.

I suggest staying in cheap temporary accommodation for a few days and find something you like later. Will pm you with the number of a reliable travel agent who will arrange everything for you.

Try not to pay more than 30 euro per night. Anything more is just throwing good money away.

I arrived in Nairobi at about 5:30 this morning and I'm planning my first assault on the clubs this evening. Someone told me that Simmers is good in the afternoon so I may check that out as well. You old hands probably already know this, but the Serena Hotel just ain't all that impressive. It sure isn't worth the New York City prices that it charges.

I'll report back once I've made my first forays to the Clubs Florida.

I wanted to know if somebody will be there to party together!

I try to rent an apprtement there, but it's not quite easy. Do you have any website site or information about the rents in Mombasa?

Is Nialy a good choice to stay around Mombasa?
