No. MPesa has no market presence. There's Airtel money. And Vodacom and Tigo. I can only speak for the airport. You pay cash at the bank counter before immigration. You get a receipt and with that you get your entry stamp. Not sure if they accept card payments. Better stick to cash. I paid cash in Tanzania. The mobile money coverage is not the same as Kenya where you can even pay Matatu or Boda with MPesa.

Online: Mostly Tinder, do not waster your time with other apps that IMHO. Plenty of choices there, so pick what you want and usually you have most of them who are constantly searching, so you will get them matched quickly.

My advice is be straight and tell what you want from the very beginning. Most girsls actually are OK to get message saying that you need only a short time together. Do not suggest to meet for lunch, etc, go straight and meet at your hotel room, later you decide if you want a lunch IMHO. If conversation goes on, agree on the pricing. Good thing with Tinder is that it will work in any city or region in Tanzania and it's very easy, but might take time sometimes to find a good deal.

Clubs / Bars:

Obvious choices are mentioned here like Q Bar, Samaki Samaki, Elements, etc. If you are new to the scene, I guess those are easiest options. Going to places in Sinza will require some knowledge of location and preferably basic Swahili.

In these high end places also negotiate hard, but I think you will get chicks above 60 K Tsh (30 $) there depending on how they look. Those are expensive expat places, and even for them to get there, they need to spend more money, but these are same chicks sometimes as in Sinza. Sinza itself, you can grab a girl for as low as 20 K Tsh (10 usd) but the quality ranges big times there and I think decent ones will be not less than 40 K (20 $). But again, going Sinza has lots of complications for normal people, even me who know Dar very well and speak some Swahili do not tend to go there due to complexities of logistics, etc.

Walking chicks:

For me one of easy, quick and cheap options. Just after 8 pm you can browse areas next to Atlantis hotel (Ghuba road) or around Atlantis / Q Bar, the junction of Msasani road and Haile Selassie roads, you will find some options of girls waiting for customers. Most though do not speak English, so just put the price you offer on the phone screen and they say yes or no Most of them can blow you in the car itself. The price here range from 40 K to 80 K for a short term, depending on the girl. Sometimes I managed to get very nice options here.

Massage parlors:

Another very easy and 24/7 option and there are plenty of those around the town. Not all of them are of same quality though. If you folks here are interested, I will try to find some time to describe few of them that I used. The process is simple, you enter the place (do not expect big signs and reception) and you go straight to the room with girls to choose. Sometimes you can also choose the room (with shower, without it, with jakuzzi, etc. , but all the same and jakuzzi never works actually).

Massage quality mostly SUCKS and only few that I know really give a good one and the price is around 40 K per 1 hour massage. During the massage they start teasing you and touching your parts to get you horny.

You can ask for handjob, blowjob and normal sex and price will be based on that. I usually negotiate from the very beginning and tell them what I want and I always ask them to make the massage being naked as I enjoy looking at them during the process.
