I did the Visa Extension last week.

It is very easy.

Just go to the Immigration and bring only your passport.

Go to one of the copy shops. They will do the paperwork for you.

You can extend for only 1 month but as often as you want.

There is no fee.

Did you get a Visa extension in Tanzania, in Kenya or in Uganda? This subject is bouncing around a bit.

In Mombasa town I was extending my 3 month visa for another 3 month under 5 minutes. No need to wait in Line. Price for 5 star apartment hotel.

Is around 1100 Usd for apartment that blow your mind. One of the ISG member invite me to his apartment on Pirate beach. Crazy luxury which includes cleaning electricity and everything. At that time I was "Poor" so I lived in semi luxury semi-furniture villa in Mtwapa.

But Kenya is no longer attractive to me and I am getting sick of the racist Government of thailand toward foreigners. (dual schemes, discrimination etc). Altough life here are cheap, I live in a apartment hotel with 2 bedroom for 570 usd a month include everything particularly two monster Aircon working around the clock included in the price. (swimming pool and gym is 50 USD per month opposite my hotel in another hotel). But I am start to get tired in Pattaya.

As I reported in my Kampala report last year I found all all inclusive luxury two bedroom apartment hotel in the middle of the action under 1 Kusd. All is there. Also public transport good for an African city. No shithole like Mombasa. Well organized. Uber Tuktuk much cheaper than Kenya. Beaches good but Coco Beach little in terms of service. Local Kiswahili food for next to nothing. Restaurants not expensive. In total I would say 30 to 40% cheaper than Kenya. No police bothers you. In fact. I have yet to see an armed police man. Only traffic police. No useless checkpoints. I feel very safe here. Pussy is a plenty. IMHO besides Uganda the best base.

If you prefer cooler climate settle where the German colonists settled. Usambara mountains Moshi or Arusha. I found already a butchery for the meat lover. 1 kg Steak of Ankole beef 12.000 tzs. The currency is depreciating against the Euro due to the fact that most EA currencies are pegged to the USD which is getting weaker by the day. The only thing. Learn Kiswahili.

I spent a grand total of 12.600 tzs equals to 4.55 today. And that includes even one Kilimanjaro beer. No chicas included though.As I am in a totally local quarter anyway. No white face to be seen. And you know what? I don't care. In the last seven years I became African. It seeps into your last blood cell. You can't get rid of it. On the chica side. Here its eternal paradise. If you know what you're doing and are prepared to go native. That means thinking, acting, living, talking local lingo like an African. If you're just a tourist. Fly to Thailand..

The limiting factor might be Visa. There's conflicting information. Some say you can extend the 3 months VOA for another 3 months. I'll check out immigration later. 6 months are ok. Then go on holiday to Mada every 6 months.

So I just can assume "Dar" as a capital can offer a similar deals. Visa will not be a problem if you have money, just ask for retirement visa or live on the extended tourist visa.

You get a decent unfurnished apartment from 150 $. 2 BR unfurnished house in Oyster bay 400 $. a month. Never rent furnished in Africa. Way too expensive. Very easy and cheap buy simple furniture. And forget AirBnB. Only for overpaying clueless tourists.

Kindly can you please tell me from which airport you have flown. I'm trying to escape from Europe too but I still don't know which countries allows European citizen to leave the EU zone for tourism.

Every city Turkish Airlines flies to. The sultan needs hard cash. No Covid Test required. The only country which still locks up its citizens is Belgium as far as I know.

The Airbus A321 lifts me up in the morning sky from my Covid prison in Europe. Ghoulish atmosphere at departure. Zombies in MNmasks. This is the last straw which breaks the camel's back. IMHO Europe is becoming inhabitable. To shag you have to fill out forms. Yuck. The check in with Turkish airlines went (almost) without a hitch. First the agent refused me boarding as the airport of destination asked for a "health declaration form" After 20 minutes or so I received my boarding cards. Lugagge checked through to Dar es Salaam. Raha! Turkish comes highly recommend. I got a total of 3 lunch bags. Due to the plandemic. At no stage I was asked for this useless Covid Test. Thermal scanner in Istanbul. On arrival in Dar only thermal scan. The "health declaration form" never materialized. Immigration fast and efficient. Paid 50 $ for 3 months VOA. The taxi tout 4 o'clock in the morning quoted 35 $? I showed him the Uber ride price to Sinza. 16.000 tzs. In the end I paid 30 k. Arrived at my seedy lodge. Room for 30 k including AC. The smaller rooms go for 20 k. Except for a big cucaracha the place is ok. Soon I head out for a preliminary pussy check. And a Serengeti baridi.

And no. Nobody wears MNprotection. LOL.

Flights outside the EU are NOT permitted to do in case of tourism!

So you will be NOT insured by your home country! Good luck for all these who wanted to travel this way.

In case of sickness, accidents, patriation etc. You will need to pay everything by your own. A couple of hundreds dollars per night is not uncommon in an African hospital.
