Had a horrific experience in Paje in Zanzibar last night.
Like an idiot went with girl outside on the beach, got interrupted by so called police demanded money and then raped the girl who was screaming, others gathered but no one would intervene. Tried to stop it multiple times and get help but nothing just got told to leave or be arrested.
Feel truly awful and guilty has anyone ever encountered anything like that before?

I have been a few days in Mwanza. For finding girls a good place is diamond autolink and a las Vegas bar nearby. The girls show up about 11 pm. At 1 am it is full. The girls ask for 50 k but accept always 30 k. There is also a short time hotel between that 2 locations but I did not used it I took the girls always to my hotel.

Posts: 505My 1st trip. Still here!
Preparation:
Download Uber and Bolt. They are widely used and cheaper than normal taxis. You should make sure your default payment is in cash. In dar the max I paid was 5 k tzs. For a 45 min Taxi ride from airport asked for 40 k! Bolt only 17 k! Just don't blow the cover on bolt because some are operating illegally with normal yellow plates so just tell the aggressive official drivers your friend is picking you up and communicate on the app to find his parked car. The apps allow for calls.
Get your e-visa through Tanzania government website. As Americans you'll pay $100 for one yr long with multiple entries provided your max one stay is 90.
Also go on Tanzania government website to fill out a health questionnaire to obtain a unified health code.
You'll need a 72 HR neg. Pcr result.
Other than that there is no mask requirement ANYWHERE in Tanzania or proof of vaccination required. Been to a movie theater no mask, mall, no mask. Etc Even on the internal flight no mask enforcement!
Girls: (strictly Reg 4 me).
Super Easy to talk to in the streets, mall. Etc. Almost all want marriage! But eventually SOME will accept. Just be EXTRA discreet in public. No PDA just wait till you both are in your room and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Also, be honest with her as soon as you see she wants more! No need to lie and hurt her feelings.
I connected with a girl online and been chatting her up including video for a good 2 wks before arriving. She came to my hotel the same afternoon and been with me as my number one Reg! Absolutely an amazing human being. Even the house (where I've rented my room) owner and her daughters loved her and her sweet character. Clean body with an amazing hip / waist ratio of 1. 45 closest to perfect 1. 50 I've ever seen. Just a bit short but cute all around.
She owns a HUMBLE hair salon and I've decided to assist her with her ambition so I've paid her more than 20 k per full (unrestricted GFE) night. Other girls I paid 20 k. But honestly she is still my best.
Never asked me for anything even on the night where she couldn't perform her duty because of her period I gave only got 10 k she still stays in touch with the same attitude as if nothing happened.
All the above was in DAR! But I got sick and tired of the heat + humidity lethal synergetic effect and headed to Arusha which is much cooler and not humid.
My only complaint is the girls here seem. Well, not pretty to be franc! Or maybe I need to look around in particular side of town.
If you know me you know I like college hunting, well they are still closed except I found a hair college open. And got me a nice catch with the help of a smart bolt driver. She only stayed a short on pop time so only gave 10 k.
To be continued:
This is just the first (improv) part of my 1st Tanzania trip. Questions and positive criticism with alternative solutions are welcome, trolls are not.
Oh, also nothing compares to my Mada (so far!) but you do the best with what you've got!
Bashaa is right in his depiction of Tanzanian women and culture.

I have been in TZ for a week now for business, arrived Kilimanjaro Airport and traveled to Shinyanga where I am now.
Took trip to Tabora and went to a club Friday night for a few beers. Picked up a girl outside slim with perky boobs, no English, negotiated 30 k Shilling for the night.
Here in Shinyanga meeting hotel receptionist today on her off day. Moving soon on to Mwanza.

You should have stayed at Sinza or Kinondoni cloze to where action is.
Another thing is since your new, whenever place you go try to find a friend that he can show you where action is.

Recent visit to Addis.
Beggars everywhere the area around Edna mall is not safe after dark, clubs are near empty.
Hookers are few and filthy.
I went to Addis gold, AK lounge, Bonanza all near empty.
The Dome night club is permanently closed. V lounge also shut down.
I also went to few massage joints in the Bole area and all the girls were old and ugly I mean there is a real hygiene problem.
Left the country very disappointed.

I could go into detail why it's so different than Kenya but it would be rather long.
Hope this Helps.
Trip.

Thanks for the info Neddy69.
Firstly, I did read the reports but they deal with P4 P and I'm not interested in that.
I'm not using tinder. AI yes! No sex or money ever discussed! The girl I'm chatting moved from Arusha to find employment as a hair dresser in Dar. Another girl I've chatted from Dar started little drama on WhatsApp I let her go! Funny enough now I'm getting responses from Kigali!!
Secondly, yes Tanzania is more developed than Mada so prices of goods and services higher too. But if I was paying max 2,000 KES in Mombasa for LT (made a report) and Kenya is more developed than Tanzania then I wouldn't be paying more in Tanzania. What's the regular salary of retail service? Salary of girls working in restaurants?.etc!
Also, I will visit Arusha and decide if it's better 4 me long term. I always did better in 2nd tier towns. So I only booked 2 nights in Dar. We'll see how the nonpro scenery is then adjust accordingly. Not sure about Zanzibar!
Finally, I did see that Mbezi area you mentioned but I noticed the hotel prices are more expensive than Kiganboni, so I got the sense it's a pricier area and didn't consider it. If you or anyone else has good reasonably priced hotel recommendations I'll check them out.
Remember this is my 1st trip to Tanzania so it's difficult to determine my geographic areas of opportunities within the country and the city.
A couple of days and I should get a feel of the land and people.
P. s: if why'all have any warnings or areas to avoid let me know. My research tells me it's safer it's big daddy Kenya!

Posts: 505Arusha vs Dar girls nature
So now I'm booked to Dar this wk!
I've been chatting up Tanzanian girls online. And I've noticed the Arusha ones are a bit sweeter in nature!
My plan is to book a nice but economically priced bungalow on the beach for a good 30+ days. I'm following my girl's recommendation of looking in Kiganboni area. She works there! So it would be easier to meet up. I just hope there are PLENTY of local eateries and street food vendors and local open markets. Not into heavily tourist areas.
I'll be using p the following venues for girls: online, malls, beach, open local market and then hit the university when it resumes on 21 March.
I have a feeling this will be like Madagascar!
I opted for the e-visa. Literally did it few hours ago. But still waiting for the response. You have to upload: a passport photo, your passport bio page, and a return flight out of Tanzania.
Only issue for me now is where to stay at 3 am on my arrival date. Yes my flight by way of İstanbul international arrives 3 am!

Is "visa on arrival" still available or does one have to apply for e-visa?
