If someone is trying to get actual info about flying to Tanzania:

I flew from Amsterdam to Dar es Salaam in July 2020. Direct flight.

In Dar there was a temperature test, that's all.

Flew back to Amsterdam in August 2020. Direct flight.

Nothing at EU end, no questions asked or tests.

In EU Tanzania is not considered high risk country because the official numbers are low.

So if you have the urge, just go already.

Some places in Dar and ZNZ are closed because of the lack of tourist, but there are no restrictions of any kind, and this applied to girls also.

Your information is plainly wrong. There was a recommendation of the EU commission banning non essential travel outside the EU. That ban has been lifted long time ago, as travel is a basic right of any EU citizen. Nobody prevents you from leaving.

Then you have to look on a case by case basis where your insurer is located and if your home country has issued a travel warning for your country of destination. Check with your particular travel insurance.

As the cost of an hospital it's cheaper than you think with the exception of intensive care. Usually a hospitalization in the Aga Khan one of the best private hospitals in Kenya is affordable. Mate of mine paid for 9 days 700 usd. He was hospitalized for Dengue fever. That included all infusions etc.

I think you are mixing up the process of leaving your home country and then the procedure to get into the destination country as well if you have to undergo a compulsary Covid test on arrival back home.

From Europe you can fly to several countries worldwide. At check in you will get controlled if you fulfil the restriction at your final destination (Covid Cert etc). Do your research on the government sites. There are excellent informations available.

I am still looking for an interesting city like Kampala to find nice regular girls and to spend one week with them. Certainly not now but when everything is back to normal.

Anyway now I like to understand better. I'm trying to talk to some nice girls in Dar es Salaam but I'm noticing not all are as interested to talk to me as the girls of Kampala.

In Kampala if I talk to 10 girls, all the girls like to meet me. In my opinion Dar es Salaam is different, but maybe I'm wrong because I don't have experience about Dar es Salaam girls.

My question: is Dar es Salaam culture more conservative than Kampala culture? Maybe this is the difference between the two cities?

BW Coral Beach is in Masaki, not the BW Peninsula near the Q-Bar.

This is a very nice 4 star seaside resort type hotel. Clean, quiet and well kept.

Bit pricey normally. I got a ocean view suite with balcony for 140 usd, maybe a bit of corona times discount there.

Room very nice, everything works. Also quite nice sea view, you can hear waves crashing in. Only rooms that have decent views are on the upper floors of the Tanganyika wing (suites). Other rooms are cheaper but scattered around or at lower levels.

Breakfast good for local standards, eggs made to order with small buffet (sausages, pancakes etc). They delivered to room also.

Girl friendly. When asked reception said that guest should have ID, but I had 3 lady visitors and was not asked.

Location is not the best, it's on the north end of Msasani peninsula, and there is nothing much around there so you will be taking uber all the time. Uber is cheap and usually arrived within minutes so not a problem but FYI. Havoc is pretty near but you probably won't walk that at night.

I'm desperately trying a way to reach my favorite monger destination but what scares me is booking for a flight and then they won't allow me to board the plane because Tanzania is not on the list of the countries considered safe by the EU.

To add to further confusion. The latest version.

In view of this, the Government has slightly modified the Travel Advisory No. 4. of 20 thJuly, 2020 and come-up with version No 5, effective from 05th August 2020 to accommodate additional measures related to international travel as follows:

1. All travelers whether foreigners or returning residents entering or leaving The United Republic of Tanzania will be subjected to enhanced screening for COVID-19 infection. There will be no 14 days mandatory quarantine upon arrival.

2. All travelers whether foreigners or returning residents whose countries or Airlines require them to get tested for COVID-19 and turn negative, as a condition for traveling, will be required to present a certificate upon arrival. Travelers from other countries with symptoms and signs related to COVID-19 infection, will undergo enhanced screening and may be tested for RT-PCR.

But at least they don't have this useless app like Kenya you're supposed to download and measure fever daily.

Are you sure that plane is flying out on Monday? As far as I know the only African country the European Union is allowing flights to is Rwanda. I did hear about a flight to The Gambia but ordinary holidaymakers where not allowed to board. Only Gambians / residents returning home or businessmen.
