Hello friends, I was in Dar es Salaam for 6-7 days and I'd like to tell you my suggestions.

I was mainly in Sinza Mori area at Wanyama hotel. It is a wonderful hotel with a low price (40, 000 shillings=US$14). Every day I toke with me one or two girls to my single room without problems. Every night I went to Corner bar area where there is also Ambiance night club (they are very close to my hotel). At night at 10pm there are always new girls even Monday and Tuesday (not many). I did not feel need to go elsewhere. I went also in Masai night club (near Sinza) but girls go after midnight. I like Corner bar a lot because girls are wandering everywhere, then at 11pm they enter inside Ambiance night club.

Beautiful average was low but always it is possible to find a beautiful girl.

I met also girls who were talking with me on Facebook or Badoo but I spent a lot of the time and money. Mengering pro is better than non-pro. Prices are 15, 000-50, 000 shilling for short time.

Thanks for the suggestions. Apparently, there are no budget-friendly hotels close to Q-Bar (except maybe Q-Bar itself), but there are a few choices around Bilicanas & Sinza. I'm considering staying at 2 different hotels (a week each) to experience both the mzungu & local scene.

Taxi: 5 km ride for 5.000 TZS.

Mzungus will be quoted much higher fares. Anyone trying to grossly overcharge me will get the finger! LOL

Colosseum Hotel comfortable, good, walking distance to 2 fun spots early evening and late. Asked and received discount paying cash, but under 100usd? You could try. Dar not one of those places where cabs cost next to nothing, even so small money.

There is Via Via near Arusha hotel for live music, it is a safe place. Then there are Kaloleni and Levolosi, here there are many bars. I never went there but talking with people in Arusha they have told me they are very insecure areas.

I will reach Arusha in 10 days and me too like to know more about Arusha.

BTW, just before the roundabout on the left side of the road there is a massage place with mostly 2 Philipinian women.

When you arrive at the roundabout, take the road left after 100m on your left side you will see theouse with blue door.

They open at 8 in the morning till 11pm!
