On my trip I also stayed at Harbour View Suites the days that I was in Dar.

There is no problem bringing girls in there. There is actually a side entrance through the little shopping mall that is next to the hotel, and you can take the elevator up to your room with the girl without needing to pass reception. If you stay on the 11th floor, just take the elevator to the 10th floor and then take the stairs up to the 11th floor, that way you don't need to pass through reception also.

The hotel is very much a business people hotel and has a big comfortable king sized bed, a nice flat screen TV and is nice and clean and is EU/US standard.

The key drawback to this hotel is it's awkward location for mongering since it is in central Dar and therefore all the action is far away and you spend a lot of time taking taxis therefore. For USD 100 per night I felt it was a bit expensive.

If I come through Dar again then I will probably stay somewhere else, probably on the peninsula so I am closer to all the mongering places and also to Coco Beach.

    Dar massage parlours

There are a number of massage parlours close to the US Embassy where extras are available. I only went to Magic Hands on my trip there (which is right next to the main entrance to the US Embassy and there are clear signs pointing towards it). Am posting a picture of the flier from Magic Hands which has their contact number, opening times, and prices. I think that the massage parlours are a bit of an expensive option, but if you are looking for something quick in the day time then they are worth a visit.

There is one more massage parlour next to Magic Hands, just follow the signs.

A further massage parlour, New Lisa's Healing Hands can be found as follows:

    1. Coming out of the US Embassy, make a right and walk along the road until you get to the first intersection. (It's a pretty far walk, a few hundred yards.)
    2. Make a right at the intersection, and cross the street. New Lisa's Healing Hands is sign posted down one of the side streets on the left side. If you get to a strip mall then you have walked to far.

Read about a place called Capadonna's also. Looked for it but could not find it.

Is Tanzania a good anal destination?

Got a PM from a senior member asking about Tanzania as a destination if you are looking to go to Africa to do anal with lots of local girls.

Very importantly, I have only been to Dar once and my sample is only 16 girls, but I found that 60%+ of them were open to giving up the backdoor. Could be just a fluke, but I didn't go around specifically looking for it. With many of them I just started touching their behinds and rear entrance and then they allowed entry no problem.

Not comparable to Rio in terms of anal action, but from my sample lots of girls were up for it, and they were not the hardened pro types. Some seemed to enjoy it, some seemed to, well, enjoy it a bit less...

    Comparing Tanzania and Kenya

Posted this in the Kenya thread and thought that it would be a useful post here as well in the Tanzania thread.

A post that I would have found useful when I was planning my initial travels to Africa would have been a compare and contrast of Kenya/Tanzania. This is based on my initial impressions of both destinations, and would be interested in the reaction of experienced senior members to this. It’s written to be of use to someone that has been to one of these two destinations, or neither of these destinations and trying to decide where to head to. Probably of no use to mongerers that have been to both destinations. (This doesn't really compare the two countries, but rather compares Dar es Salaam and Mombasa.)

    So, IMHO...:

    Overall:

I would say that Mombasa, or rather Bamburi, is a full on mongering destination with loads of girls available at places that are easy to get to. Bamburi is a bit spread out, but you can go everywhere easily and pretty cheaply by taxi and matatu.

Dar es Salaam is a big city with lots of mongering potential, but I would not describe it as a mongering destination, i.e. I would not get on an airplane to go to Dar just to monger. That being said, there are loads of non-mongering things to do around Dar like going on safari, Zanzibar, etc that are nice. (Likewise for Mombasa/Bamburi.)

Bamburi is a nice beach side holiday destination, while Dar is a big city. You can get to a nice beach pretty easily in Dar, but need to take a taxi.

Neither destination really has an organised mongering scene (at least not for tourists) and are 95% freelancers I would say. Don’t know if the massage girls count as being organised mongering... In Dar they tended to be in massage parlours while in Mombasa/Bamburi they are along the beach working in little groups.

    Looks of the girls:

Both places have hot girls, loads of tribes means that there is also loads of variety (within the black girl category) so there are girls that are tall and short, fat and slim, big tits and small tits, very dark skin and very light skin available in both places. Maybe a slight edge for the Tanzanian girls in this category.

    Anal sex:

Tanzanian girls are much more likely to give up their behinds than the Kenyan girls from what I experienced.

    Oral sex:

Kenyan girls seem much more happy to blow away than Tanzanian girls. Both sets of girls do BBBJ as standard.

    Cum in mouth/cum on face:

Kenyan girls seem to have no problem with having cum on their faces, in their mouths, on their tits... The Tanzanian girls seemed a lot more reluctant to do this.

    Fucking:

Both Tanzanian girls and Kenyan girls fuck really well, not as good as Jamaican girls do, but it is rare to have a star fish experience.

    Non-pros:

Had one non-pro girl that I met and went on dates with in Mombasa, did not try this in Dar since I didn’t have time and was going back and forth between different non-mongering activities so wasn’t around for that many nights in a row.

    Pictures and movies:

Kenyan girls seem happy to pose for pictures and be in movies, while the Tanzanian girls were much more reluctant.

    Day time action:

Both places have massage girls for day time action, but best bet is to gather phone numbers on your evenings out and then call girls that you want to meet or that you want to repeat with. Day time action is better in Mombasa since there you can always head to Big Tree or find a massage girl along the beach. In Dar you need to taxi it over all the way to the US embassy where there are a number of massage parlours but that is a bit of a journey.

    Week day evening action:

Pretty tame in both destinations. Always something going on in Q-bar in Dar, and a few girls hanging around at Casaurina and Cheers in Bamburi, but not that much fun to be honest.

    Weekend night time action:

Great in both destinations! It really pics up on the weekend, but Mombasa has a much much bigger selection of girls than Dar does.

    Getting around:

Much easier in Mombasa/Bamburi than in Dar. Dar is a big city so you have to deal with loads of traffic. Suppose it’s the same in Mombasa proper, but if you aren’t there for that long then you don’t really need to go into Mombasa proper.

    Prices:

Very similar between both destinations, i.e. very very cheap.

That been said, the price/quality ratio is the best I have found in Africa (or, if you are into African women, which you must be otherwise you would not be reading this, anywhere else). 100 or 150 USD in Dubai is a guarantee of poor quality. 200 USD in Las Vegas is a couple of strip dances. This type of amount in Dar es Salaam will get you a semi-pro in the peak of their talents. Early 20's, probably a student, good attitude, relatively low mileage but willing to please you considerably if you treat them nicely.
I did actually check this place out on my visit to Dar. A beautiful view from up there, and no problem to come to the bar even if not staying at the hotel. But man, 6,000 Tanzanian for a beer... To steep for my taste, so left without picking up any of the eye candy that was there. You're right, not for those of us that don't like to spend money if we don't have to.

What other places did you find to be good (as well as bad) hunting grounds?

    Dar's hidden jewel

    Fellow Afrodisiacs,

This is my 1st post in the forum, although I had been a long time voyeur. I guess before I felt I had nothing new to say. I travel a lot around the world because of my work, and I find the postings here extremely helpful. As a matter of fact, whenever I travel to a place where the forum has been blocked (quite often in the middle east) I do my research indirectly - I have a friend checking for me in a remote location, or I do it in advance.

It works even better if you are staying in the hotel. You go, look at the menu (a few girls on a weekday night, maybe 20 on a weekend), choose, and back are in your room enjoying in a matter of minutes. Nothing like not having to go around in taxis, not knowing what to expect, etc.

Tonight I just had Sally (she gave some other name at the beginning but when she relaxed she told me Sally). In previous visits I have had several other girls, including 2 "sisters" at once one time. What they all had in common is that they were classy, well behaved (they would not risk not getting in the best hotel in town again), and of course extremely good looking. 9 or 10 is the norm.

Answering my own question posted before my trip since it didn't get answered and it is helpful knowledge for anyone that will be going there:

    Pearl of Zanzibar

Think I paid 80 USD for two nights. Not very luxurious, but clean and quiet, and has a Zanzibar style bed (see picture) so which was pretty cool to fuck in!

Did not try bringing in any girls in the day time, but was no problem to have a girl stay the night when I came with her at night. Night receptionist just smiled at me and gave me my key.

    Mongering in Zanzibar

I did not find a girl in Dar es Salaam that I was keen to spend several days with, so ended up going to Zanzibar by myself. Was mainly there for non-mongering stuff, but figured that I would be resourceful enough to find something there.

Know a lot about mongering, but little about Stonetown, but found the following:

There is a small mongering scene catering for visitors, but it's not very large with only a few girls. Girls can be found at:

    1. Livingstone's Bar - a touristy bar with mostly tourists, but a few pros sit around the bar inside

    2. Dharma Lounge - a cocktail lounge with a few pros

    3. Bwawawani, although this place doesn't really get going to late, and you are likely to be in Zanzibar to do non-mongering stuff mainly so it's less than ideal unless you are there for a long time since going there cuts into your sleeping

    4. Staharie - actually a local place that is close to the touristy spots. Very difficult to find since you enter through a craft store. You get there by going past Livingstone's, keep going down the street (it isn't lit but it is fine to walk there) until you get to a craft store that is open even though it is in the middle of the night. There is Staharie, it does not have a sign. If you can't find it, ask someone, say you are looking for the local place.

Staharie is very Zanzibar rather than touristy, and has a mongering scenes with girls looking for African men, and girls that are new on the scene or too embarrased to go to the other places since they don't speak English.

Staharie is home to a small drug scene and there are some shady characters there due to this, but they mind their own business and sit along the fence facing the ocean (so they can throw their things in the ocean if the police arrive). Don't partake in this, since there are scams and set ups where you get "arrested" and have to bribe your way out.

A large Tusker is 2,000 KSH. Get them yourself at the bar since the waitresses will overcharge you.

The attached picture will give you an idea of orientation. Livingstone's (which is easy to find) is the large white building next to the blue boat. Staharie is the small buildings all the way to the right of the picture that look a bit run down.

    Maisha Club

    Gentlemen,

I understand a number of ladies were rounded up by the police on Thursday night at Maisha. Did the police cause any problems to any mongers also?

  14. #283
I would say go to either New Maisha, Garden Bistro, or Bilicanas on Saturday night to make your selection.

In terms of a nice beach that is close to Dar, I say go to White Sands resort. There should not be a problem with bringing girls there if you have them as registered guests.

In terms of rental costs, I think you can get away with USD 100 to 200 for three nights, potentially even less.
