Mwanza is ok, not to many mongerers there apart from a few guys working in the fishindustry. I have found plenty of accurate reports about twilight fun in Bongo - Q Bar being particularly convenient.

One caution, however, for new arrivals relates to taxis. It is best to get someone to recommend a driver to you who will be a) reliable b) fair in pricing and c) will keep you safe. It is always best to lock the doors when travelling in order to prevent undesirables attempting to jump you at lights etc.

I've been approached several times in recent weeks by nice eye-candy in the city centre. A few words of Swahili breaks the ice. Some chicks will happily satisfy your needs but will expect hefty remuneration. Others just want a Western man as a) a boyfriend or b) as a mobile ATM to solve their numerous problems. A few genuine ones will just fuck you senseless - but be considerate to their circumstances and maybe give them some financial assistance.

Now, to my request. There are plenty of noctural locations to pick up suitable companions. However, I'm in search of some daytime fun and would be delighted if anyone can suggest someone (not really into massage places).

My ideal babe would be clean (in every way), have great skin and a great ass (which she may wish me to enter). She would also be able to accommodate.

Quick guide as follows:

Best bet still Q-Bar for better quality pro's than Jolies !
Jolie's crowd are more pushy .. Q-Bar's babes are more relaxed !

A couple of questions (I have RTFF'd this thread back to around 2006):

1. How is Dar when compared to Mombasa for example in terms of number of girls available, when they are available, etc?

2. Is the main action only on the weekend evenings in the bars/clubs that are listed, or can it be found on weekdays and day time too? (In Kenya I found the best strategy was to collect a lot of phone numbers of girls to call when I wanted day time fun, or evening fun on some non-weekend days.)

3. Am hoping to travel around outside Dar a bit too, and check out safaris etc. What are the possibilities of finding girls outside Dar, or is this so difficult that one should bring one's own?

4. Stories on Zanzibar seem a bit conflicting. Some reports seem to say that girls can be found, others that they can, what's the story since it looks beautiful and I am keen to go there?

5. Any recommendations on a hotel that is reasonably expensive, but not the most expensive, has inroom safe or a front desk safe, girl friendly obviously, close to the action, and within striking distance of a beach?

6. Is the situation with the police the same as in Kenya? (And particularly, are sex toys and pictures and vids of girls illegal?)

7. Any other thoughts/tips?
