    Zanzibar

I was only in Stonetown for a few days, went out looking one night, I walked around until I heard somewhere lively and the only place was tatu. Has three small floors, first floor bar with pool table and balcony, one girl here, 2nd floor a closed restaurant, 3rd floor a club space, 4 girls here. This is a weekday, maybe at 10 pm. A few more girls arrived later.

Only one hot in there who wanted $100, she dropped to 100 k when I decided to go home and followed me to the exit to convince me but vibe was a bit pro so I wasn't interested.

I met people on an excursion that are staying near Jambiani and apparently great parties out there every night with lots of locals. And the girl I was speaking to in Tatu said it's the same up in Nungwi, a party somewhere every night. So maybe stone town isn't the best place to be.

Also all the cash machines have charges here so if you want to avoid that withdraw what you need in Dar.

    Action near airport

    Hi fellow sex travelers,

I will be spending a night at a hotel near the Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar Es Salaam and was wondering if there is any action nearby. Also if there are recommendations for a good erotic massage nearby.

Thanks in advance for your guidance!

Arusha isn't a place for mongers

Apparently on Saturdays people generally go havoc or elements club between 1-2 am.

I met a girl from tinder there, no discussion of money but gave her 100 k in the morning.
When people talk about Africa being a monger's paradise and all sex being transactional there's a limit especially in places like Arusha. Of course girls are availible but I didn't see any cute girls working there.

Staying ShaMool hotel in Sinza, $20 or 45 k a night, wifi, breakfast, mosquito net and aircon. Small basic room but I'm happy enough with it. Though you are 15-20 minutes to oysterbay, the main area which is long heading back in the evening.

To get a sim card you need the orginal passport with stamp. I went Tengo told to come back with passport, came back with passport and they now said I need a national ID but went to airtel next door and they just needed the passport. 1 k for sim, 15 k for 5 g data for 1 month and 5 k for 135 min and 300 texts for 1 month.

Getting around can use bolt and uber which is much cheaper than the price of flagging one but you generally need to call them to make sure there coming and know where you are or they sometimes don't come. From Sinza to oyster bay, 5 k in tuk tuk on uber.

    Ambiance in Sinza.

3 k entry and 3 k beer. Just locals around here. About midnight on a weekday it's not busy, there are 3 rooms, handfull of really poor girls in the big room with the bar that try attach to me, the next room is small with some local guys and a few more girls, most light coming from a hole in the wall with a fan so can't see much, one girl flashs her tits to me from a dark corner, and the entrance room just has three guys lying on couches watching tv. Outside the front there are some tables, bit better girls here and at least you can see them but they come across real pro, "jiggy jiggy" "massage" "40 k baby" constantly, not for me at all so I left, three girls follow me and try to hop in the tuk tuk with me, I have to eject them, haha.

    Q bar.

I thought this was the main spot so I tried here 3 times once at a weekday and twice at the weekend at different times between 10 and 1 am. Never that busy, mainly some tourists and then maybe 10 girls on Friday night other times only 5.5 k large beer.

    Elements.

10 k entry at weekend. 11.30 dead. 5 k small beer. About 12 starts picking up and some girls arrive but I left to try Samaki.

    Samaki samaki.

Finally somewhere that's not dead, absolutely packed around 12 on Friday, a big place too, mainly locals some girls about. 5 k large beer. Saturday I came back and little bit quieter but still the busiest place.

    Triniti.

Came here with a girl from Samaki just to check it out before heading back, around 1 am. 10 k entry, 5 k beer. Not as busy as Samaki but full enough, not really a local spot mainly tourists then lots of girls all on the game. This was a Friday, it was closed on Saturday.

    Mlimani City Mall.

If your in sinza come here to get your sim, all network shops here. I came in the evening with a girl to the samaki samaki here, all locals pretty sure no action in there.

    Dating apps.

Have used Badoo, tagged and tinder. Tinder is really all you need and has the best quality.

First day not sure on prices I gave 40 k for short term with a girl from tagged she took it and kept calling to meet again but did say 100 k is normal so maybe I underpaid, though I did cover her taxis and bought her dinner so I didn't feel too bad. Next days when talking to girls in bars they all ask for 100 k, ratio is in your favour so you could bring them down but I paid the 100 k for long term.

Catfished twice from apps, one from tagged, met for a drink and her skin was quite bad so bailed after a drink. One from tinder that I had come straight to my hotel, she looked worse and was a weirdo also, so I sent her away with 10 k for transport.

On the way to arusha now for safari on the dar express for 33 k. I'm back at the end of the week, if Q bar isn't busy and Triniti is closed on Saturday there must be another bar, so I need to find where that is.
I'm headed to TZ next week with non mongering friends (I should be able to sneak some mongering in so anybody in town hit me up) I heard that the visa thing hasn't been ratified yet so if you demand to see the policy they may let you get the old 1 year multientry visa.

Although Dating apps work everywhere I've learned to stay away from them. Too much inflation on there. I'd stick to clubs, talking to girls on the street and the MP's.

    It happens

Look. Don't worry man, it will happen for you.

I remember years ago being in Sosua and while meeting someone was like shooting fish in a barrel, one guy felt like he couldn't get laid. I randomly sat with him during the day at the beach and heard his story. Turns out he was newly divorced and just had no game. Don't think he had had sex in 20 years. I just told him to smile and try and be affectionate and the girls would reciprocate.

Johann2 - obviously English isn't your first language; don't sweat it my man; girls will sometimes misread cues so just keep trying and maybe starting with a pro isn't the worst thing?

At the end of the day this 'thing of ours' is about having fun. Enjoy your drink, enjoy the view and enjoy yourself. Girls like a guy who is self assured. It will come. And when it does brother, we all want details! 👍.

    African Body Odor

I do think BO is an issue; but I don't think it bothers me as much as some.

I have had white guys stink me out and black women too. Not a race / color thing.

I will never forget sitting in an aisle seat and having a older Indian man trying to put his bag in the overhead compartment; this goes back 20 years. It doubled me over in my seat, eyes tearing.

Quote Originally Posted by ElephantBeer  [View Original Post]

Admittedly, I do have a sensitive sense-of-smell. I have, ever since I developed migraines in my 30's. It also equates to taste as well. For instance if I kiss a girls skin around her nipples I will (sometimes) almost want to gag from the sweat taste of sweat glands etc.

I will say that in Asia and South America I have (almost never?) run into BO and I've been to plenty of low end brothels where soap ruled over deodorant. At least 'upstairs' - have run into some bad odors downstairs several times from poor hygiene, one in twenty?

In Africa, I was just overwhelmed by the body odor. I've since read that Africans have larger sweat glands and release more (or a different kind of odor). Maybe I'm hypersensitive to it. I just couldn't get close to them, and I wanted to.

For instance, sitting at a beach bar and a girl approaches, sweat beads all over her forehead and upper lip, she put out her arm and rests it against the bar and this stale rank odor emanates from her, the only thing that comes to mind is cat litter that's been used for a week and not emptied. Or sitting in a club in Nairobi and a girl strikes up conversation and 'wants to sit down' - fine. We start talking and again she just smells musty, sweaty, weedy. I can't even imagine what it would be like to unwrap one of these girls at home.

In retrospect, I had several girls in Ethiopia that had almost no smell at all. It was primarily just the Kenya and Tanzanian girls that reeked. Which is partly why I was so shocked when I arrived in these countries.

Because I enjoy brothel 'slums' does not mean I enjoy BO. Because you enjoy inexpensive hamburgers do you want them to the beef to be made of cow's assholes? I guess you're doing a passive aggressive insult, but I don't really get it. I'm just reporting on my experience.

One of the biggest memories I brought back from Africa was just the overwhelming BO. Even from well dressed people in the airport or at restaurants. Most did not have it, but the ones that did. Had it damn bad. To the point I'd just leave the area or room.

Ya I know that guy. But he's really a hobo. But his Africa experience is rather limited. Interestingly enough to Togo and Kenya. My rationale is. Less spend on accommodation more money left to spend on pussy booze and food. My budget is a 1000 dollars a month give or take. Plus flight budget of around 2000 dollars. Ya. Common mistake to drag around too much stuff. I try to optimize but I prefer to travel with the best aluminum hardcase money can buy. Thats Rimowa. I am not exactly a backpacker. But now the good part. I don't drag that thing around a single meter. Its Africa. There's a lot of fit young man. They drag my suitcase wherever I want it to. Well infrastructure. I maintain what you can't buy in the typical african cornerstore you don't really need. 4 G is pretty much available. Power Cuts. Ya they exist. Do I care. No. My trip usually lasts 3 months. I might use surface travel or regional flights. Too soft on pussy. Been there done that. I've spend money for training. That's why I maintain once you survived the kenyan slay queens all other countries are easy. Tanzania. Different ball game. They hate Kenyans there. They consider them big scammers there. Don't forget. Tanzania has a socialist past. So you are the bad white colonialist. But times are changing. There is a younger generation now. And Kenya is a racially mixed country. Perfectly normal to see a white guy with a kenyan GF. Not so in TZ. That's why I stick mostly to girls from Ambiance. But I am learning. When my Kiswahili is flawless.

Quiet and cheaper. 20 $ would be already way over my budget. In exceptional circumstances like when I pass through Nairobi yes. But I spend 8 months on the road a year on average. If you have more budget that's a different matter. Another tip. Download maps.me . There's guest houses you'll not find on Google maps. So my main resources are maps. Me much better and offline maps. Google maps and Jumia which works well in most East african countries. Especially in out of way places like Isiolo. And lastly travel guides the best ones for Africa are the Bradt guides. Lonely planet for me crappy guides really. AirBNB might be good option as 2 BR to share with a wingman for a long term stay than it would be ok budget wise for me.

    My 2 cents.

Very good advice how to find accommodations neddy. I just wonder how much you budget around per month in total including everything like girls, food, hotels, drinks and other stuff at africa. Around 8 month per year on road its a long time.
