What about security? Did you feel safe in there? Are girls allowed to have access to the rooms alone? I don't want them to knock on my door the day after if I want to get rid of them.

Yes, I always felt quite safe there, There are always security guys around and there are cameras hanging everywhere.

About unwanted visitors: there is not always somebody at the reception and if they know the girls they might easily pass.

So in case you don't want some visitors I think the best thing will be to tip the receptionist and / or the security guy to not let that person reach your door.

Yes, there is a good safe in every room (free) .

I understood at Q bar, a lot of action but anyone slept already there? On trip advisor, comments are very wide.

I stayed several times at Q-bar Hotel and I can only say that it's a perfect place for practicing our hobby. When you have a room upstairs you don't have to hang out at the bar all evening, you can just every now & then look out of the window and see what's happening in the bar.

I had several very surprising & fulfilling meetings when I went down at the end of the night with somehow pro's, but not the hard-core ones.

And yes, about everything what they write in the comments is somehow true, The noise of the bar, especially when there is a disco, or when the band is playing. Sometimes the whole building is literally trembling from the bass-tones. But you get used to it and you can just doze a bit on your bed, watch some TV & prepare to go down later.

And yes, it's full of prostitutes and "creepy old white men" , but hey, that's what we are looking for. !

I used to book a single room, you can take anyone for ST to your room in the daytime or in the evening, only when someone stays for the whole night they might ask you for an extra payment, especially if the girl joins you for breakfast.

And of course it was much better when the New Maisha Club was still operating just next door, unfortunately it's no longer there, but CoCo Beach is just a few minutes away . ...

Remain the questions though about your insights where to club and hunt on Sundays, and where to club and hunt after midnight.

For Trinity, I read there is some action on week ends only, the comments on trip advisor seem more positive.

I forgot to mention that (as far as I know) since some days the government is obviously enforcing at midnight closure rule for all places. Only exceptions are clubs with special permits. This qualifies for High Spirit (was there this weekend till 3 am) and I guess for maisha as well.

Triniti I don't know, but george and dragon, elements, mbalamwezi seem to close at midnight nowadays.

Wonder how q bar will be affected.

Just keep that in mind for your night logistics.

Which places are still open after 12 am?

When maisha club was still neighbouring q bar, it was an efficient mongering place too.

But I don't know for the new one after they have moved.

I would say q bar has the reputation to be the standard mongering place where white meats black. Of course there are also (few) non pros, but minority and the pros there get bitchy about them. Mongering is the obvious main business there, mzungu visitors are usually all male. Q bar is great fun from Thursday through Saturday.

Q bar is the place where there are street WGs around too.

Coco beach is pretty pro too. More local though. WGs will approach you immediately. If you are infront of the buildings, go to the bar to the left side or in the center.

Triniti is more mixed. Pros, non pros, girls being out with friends, couples. Many expats. You ll find what you need, too, but it s not that obvious. Friday / Saturday.

George and dragon is similar to triniti I would say.

High spirit. Nice roof top club, rather upmarket. All sorts of girls, and clearly quite some pro s there.

Slipway in general is a hunting area too. There are pros sometimes hanging out there from late afternoon at the jetty, there is the rather stylish terrace restaurant and bar, where I usually see some beautiful ladies sitting at the bar. I checked paparazzi club there once, but I don't recommend it.

Karambezi bar at sea cliff hotel, cape town fish market in msasani. Same as terrace on slipway.

If you like it really rough and local, go to sinza corner bar / ambiance club. Lots of pros, and you ll be the only mzungu. Be careful there.
