    Criminality in Uganda

I'm new on the site, and the first time I place something in truth and a request for information regarding terrorism and crime in Uganda.

And a few months that I am writing to AfroIntroductions.

Op I met a girl from Kampala, I was willing to go to visit her at the end of year (in fact today I started making vaccines and I was ready to book the trip over the weekend).

Talking on my friends, they gave me the crazy and of dead man walking, their riengono that crime and terrorism and high in Uganda.

Kindly you who have been in Uganda lately I could confirm or deny the fact? I copy and paste a letter translated (I'm Italian) of a website called Safe Travel.

    Safety.

Following the ongoing terrorist threat, the measures of protection and security. Especially in public places. Have been strengthened by the competent authority in Uganda. In this regard, on 13 September, the Ugandan authorities have conducted an anti-terrorist operation against cells of Al-Shabaab in Kampala.

L 'US Embassy in Uganda has been issued a specific warning to their fellow citizens on possible terrorist threats against Westerners in the capital Kampala (which has already taken place in July 2010 in an attack that caused dozens of victims). It is therefore recommended to their compatriots, to exercise extreme caution, avoiding unnecessary travel, to pay constant attention to the development of the situation and to consult the handbook of security available on the website of the Embassy.

There are cases of petty crime in general and any sudden disturbances (demonstrations, etc.) Whose countrymen are usually promptly informed via SMS. Caution is recommended in case of travel by car: the roads are often bumpy and frequent accidents. It 's not advisable to walk around after dark walk in Kampala and elsewhere, while the use of motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) and' subject to high risk of accidents, aggravated by poor use of protective helmets.

In view of the conflict still ongoing in the eastern provinces of the DRC (North Kivu) bordering Uganda and flows of refugees within the borders of Uganda, special caution in travel to the areas adjacent to the Ugandan border with the DRC, where July 5 events occurred that affected conflicting centers Kasese and Bundibugyo, with attacks of tribal militias that have caused about 100 victims. It is also recommended to stay informed, including through contacts with the Embassy, on the latest developments and risk assessments in the area. A similar problem can 'occurring in areas close to the border with South Sudan, affected by the December 2013 from conflict phenomena. In the region of Karamoja occurring episodes of attacks on cars.

It is recommended, finally, to contact before the trip (or, immediately upon arrival), the Italian Embassy in Kampala, to receive any updates, communicated by text message to all Italians who have.

Registered at the Embassy (or Site where we are in the world), the / the right / the number / of the phone, used in Uganda.

What can you tell me about it.

Your opinion to me and important.

Expect your reply and thank you in advance.

    Uganda

Not much activity on the Uganda page these days. And it seems a lot of confusion! It is so easy to pick up girls in Uganda, and in my eyes they are some of the most beautiful and sexy in the World.

Some guy asking about using FB, and asking the price. All depends what you want. Actually the best site, in my opinion, is Afrointroductions. Its a great site, and very reasonable cost.

If you in the country and go on line, you can meet a girl the same day. I am not really into pros these days, I like to meet friends! If you into pros is so easy. For example, go to Top Club on William street, below Pioneer Mall.

Any evening after 7. 00 pm or later. Plenty there. Not sure how safe, you need to take precautions against HIV, be very careful! Go to any night club or bar, plenty of girls. Most want a drink or two, and.

Then you can take them to your hotel. If they like you a small fee, so called transport money. For most girls like this, don't pay more than maximum 35000 ugs, around Euro 10.

There are so many clubs in Kampala, and all have girls, may of them are like models, believe me! I know. Ugandans are also nice and friendly too. You can find girls ready to chat up.

Anywhere. I prefer these to the pros. I always have more than I can manage! If you kind and friendly, you can find non pro girls no problem. If you like pros, you will find easy.

Like any where in Africa if you taking a girl to your room, take the precautions. Don't flash money, hide all valuables, keep the room key with you. Many hotels take their ID, and when.

They leave will call your room to check it is OK for them to go. Be careful no one spikes your drinks, it happened to me in another African country once, and she took every thing.

I'm very careful now! Lovely country, sweet sexy girls, easy going place. Like any place int he world be worldly wise and watch out for scams. Otherwise enjoy this beautiful country.

    Hi Gulu Road.

Instead of using Facebook register at "Badoo" or "Tagged". These are dating website and especially with Badoo you can easily get in touch with Ugandan girls.

If you use the mobile version you can even use the app to get a list of logged in members in the area around you own current location.

Normally I just stick to massage places because when you are finished there is no comeback.

I recently went to Garden City Mall without any expectations. I thought I might try the Venue but never got there because I spotted a tall gorgeous lady, probably mid twenties. Later she said she was 23. I made a stupid comment as I went to walk around her.

It turned out that she was from Sudan and just window shopping. Needless to say she was really easy to talk to and spoke English reasonably. I was in no rush and so after something to eat and a beer or three, we ended up back at my hotel. It was a bit like being a teenager again. She was not the most skilled but really enjoyed herself and I really got off on the experience.

Gave her some taxi money and saw her for a couple of days. Everything was cool and then my work intervened. While I was involved with work, she called me several times a day as if she was checking up on me. Nothing sinister. Met her a few days later. Again, a great experience but it was clear that she thought she had bagged a future husband. I had to pretend to leave the country to get away from her and change my SIM card. She had found my business card in the room and now sends me emails asking when I will come back. Thankfully the address on my business card is in a foreign country.

A Ugandan pal who has spent a lot of time abroad gave me the following advice which I will share with you. If you pick up a freelancer or semi-pro or non-pro and spend a couple of days with her, make sure you tell her you are married although this does not prevent some of them as they think either your wife will accept polygamy or that she will oust your wife in time. But being married will at least keep her from thinking you are looking for a spouse. With some of them, best to bring the lady to a cheap hotel so that they do not get into your stuff. And keep a separate phone / SIM for mongering or tell her that your wife keeps tabs on your phone and that is why you cannot give your phone number. But that would make it difficult to hook up with the same lady on some later date, if that is what you wanted to do.

My Ugandan pal told me about an experience where he brought a lady back to his bachelor apartment and after two days of not answering her calls she showed up at his office. She managed to find out from the gateman at his apartment complex where his office was.

Sometimes a massage with FS is just easier.

Can't go far with a credit card in Uganda (even if it's yours) and most thieves are not savvy enough to sell your card info on the black market anyway. The police and banks will both tell you that when tourists are robbed (usually via pickpocket) the thieves simply throw away anything that isn't cash. In many cases, what they throw away is more than sufficient to steal / sell your identity.

Clearly you didn't go back far enough to get a better perspective on things. Lots of wet dreams to be had and more in Uganda if you know what you're doing.
