Having lived at the Kenyan coast for 2 years, especially in Lamu, I advise you to bring a girl along.
It's a muslim place with basically just one bar and the few working girls around are not really wort mentioning compared to Mombasa.
If you need any further info, let me know.

Thanks for the photos and the suggestion, I have now changed room and it's a hundred times better. Air con works really well and the room also looks 10 years new. Absolutely exhausted, all I have done since I got here is fuck my Brian's out. I have 2, 19 year olds that want to meet me tomorrow, will try and get some photos for my trip report.

As an occasional visitor to Uganda, I found interesting the following story of Kampala authorities checking lodges for sex worker activity:

%E2%80%99s-lodgings.
Is this something you resident mongers are aware of?

Think I got lucky with the JBK, the room I got is really quiet, although even though it has air con and a fan it does not seem to do much and the room could do with a bit of work, it's a pretty good hotel. Would love to stay at the speke hotel, have eaten there a few times. The food is excellent and the staff are really good, just not sure if I want to pay the premium.
I got a balcony room also and it was not just the hotel music, there seemed to be some construction going on as well.
Having a really good time here, meet a few woman from afro, and so far bar one they all looked like there photos. One I even offered some cab fare but she turned me down. Will write a proper trip report and hopefully throw in a few photos when I get back.

Sorry I missed you last night, I got to the airport yesterday morning and one of the woman from Afro turned up. Was shocked at first, but she gave me a lift to my hotel and ended up spending the night.
I have never been to Bubbles I am only going by what other BM have said about the place.
Although I like to be proven wrong about such places, I read that's its most hardcore working girls which is not my thing.
Staying at the Hotel inter tropics at the moment, but I 'am changing tomorrow to the JBK. I found the staff friendly and the rooms look newly built, but there is no AC and no fans, no safety deposit box and it's very noisey.
Hope to catch up with you for a drink sometime.

These pics represent a typical weekend night at Bubbles. Note the [CodeWord140] poor M:F ratio (even worse inside) and who you'll be competing against for the very little female attention available.
For those who really know Kampala, this place isn't even in the discussion.
