Does anybody know if these quick HIV Tests are available in Kampala, like in Mombasa, where you can buy them at every Pharmacie??

And how about other things like antibiotics or sleeping pills? Are they available in pharmacies without prescription?

I was planning to go to Kampala too. When I was searching where to do my yellow fever vaccination in France the laboratory told me that Ebola virus was back in Kampala and other cities. I checked on the government website if it is right and it seems that it is. For this year I cancelled my trip to Uganda.

As of September 20, there have been approximately 140 Ebola cases in Uganda. The probability of dying on the road in Kampala (Boda Boda) is a thousand times higher.

E-cigarettes are also banned in Thailand. There I vape in the hotel, in the car or when I'm alone. In a bar I then temporarily switch to tobacco. Is this procedure also recommended for Kampala?

Is it generally allowed to smoke (tobacco) in bars or clubs? I've read that Ugandans are a bit strict about this.

I would say very very low chances. They don't even do anal.

First of all thanks for all the information prior to my trip!

There's no longer a 90 day visa extension, it's 60 days. So 90+60 = 150 days maximum stay in Uganda.

My biggest fear was malaria. I use a net but am being stung by many mozzies every night. My trip has gone by without any sickness. Haven't used malaria pills.

5 k at any pharmacy for 30 day anticonception pills Mycrogynon FE.

5 k at any pharmacy for morning aftel pills brand Back-Up or Lydia.

100-200 k for abortion pills at the clinic (Marie Stopes is the best clinic).

50 k for ST is basic, prom queens go for 60 k. Most I payed was 80 k but she looked like that. All night works the same 150-200 k. ST is 2 rounds in max 2 hours but many girls will leave after 1 pop. BB is actually called Live Sex here.

Capital between 1 am and 2 am. Top Pub is fine starting at 9 pm. Rock Garden was closed, not much to do at Bubbles. Monalisa The Boss (former Wallet Pub) has girls on late Monday nights. Eden Service Park in Bwaise should be good too (rooms for 20 k), there's a brothel in front.

Badoo and Tinder for dating. Same prices as mentioned. Many girls will ask 150 k for ST or more, please don't give in.
