I am very interested in find a job (permanent or contract) in Africa, ideally in Ghana, or Uganda, or Kenya, with an 'expat salary'. Any suggestion about where to look (websites, executive search firms etc) would be greatly appreciated. My background in in IT and Operations (20+ years experience).

I know that this might not be the right place to ask, but I have always viewed this forum as a community. No need to post publicly. You could always PM me.

Hi all,

Spent 4 weeks in Uganda in April, and as usual, had a wonderful time, mostly.

I was picked up at the airport by my "girl-friend" of three years ago. Oh did we hit it off well, as if no time had elapsed. She almost seemed wanting to make up for time lost. Finally I resigned myself to be the passive but extremely grateful object of her administrations. This lasted for an extended weekend, but then she had to get back to work and was available at evening time only.

I then took off on a safari to the western part of Uganda, the tourism country. I hired a 4 x4 car and guide, and took a lovely along whom I had met on Badoo. She was absolutely an amateur in the sense that I did not have to pay her any cash. Of course, all expenses were on me, including a little pocket cash for her. She was so excited to get to see her own country, and she was extremely grateful and paid me back with unstinting attention, as an entertaining travel companion and as a wonderful lover. Tireless, sometimes almost acrobatic. Often wearing me out.

After the safari, I went to have a look at Jinja and found a nice girl there. Nothing special, just neat and trim. Not an especially experienced lover either. But she was so devoted to find out how to please me. Of course a total amateur, she refused to take money, but was more than grateful when we went to buy some shoes and a dress for her.

The last weekend was spent in Entebbe the way it started, with my oldtime girl friend.

Oh memories!

James when you are serious you check the countries and make your decision but you want every thing cheap and comfortable.

Congo is the cheapest but you need a bodyguard or a good gun without you go for cheap and a big risk.

Kenya is safe and cheap yesterday I got one in the rural for 200 Ksh full but quick and not look a top but clean and young 20 years.

Congo is the cheapest but you need a bodyguard or a good gun without you go for cheap and a big risk.

Kenya is safe and cheap yesterday I got one in the rural for 200 Ksh full but quick and not look a top but clean and young 20 years.

Read the topic Nairobi or Mombasa there are big hotels and the most have a casino. And going from Nairobi to Mombasa and also the rest of Kenya you find also pretty and cheap.

James 02 Many times I have visit Prague and found also there that the prices where different in the city high but in the rural area most of the time more than 50% cheaper.

Africa is not Europe and there are here also big casino's and bars in the cities but when that is there the prices are high.

Companions who are ready to catch up with you for a small trip.

I pay never more than 2500 Ksh for a night companion and for a short not more as a lunch and some pocket money the total is for that most time 750- 1000 Ksh.

When you hold on the rules of the country and like hunting is this the middle price for the most countries of Africa is my experience. But when you want the top it is like in your country you pay the top price. But when you get the top in the most countries of Africa you do not pay more than 250 Euro for a good trip.

If like an Arabic country I would very much doubt there is going to be much supply of a sex trade.

In DRC you can get a girl for 2 USD of lower like in other countries special in the rural area.

Had a good time in Uganda thanks particularly to reports from Moonsky1, Jiggydus and Acemachine2. I stayed in Kampala for 5 days then went to parks etc in Western Region for a week and then back to Kampala for 2 nights. I took a girl with me on that trip so have no specific info on possibilities elsewhere but I judging from the flirting, I would think it would be easy.

I stayed at JBK Hotel. This hotel is in a very busy area downtown and noise is an issue on Friday and Saturdya night + Sunday morning church services. Some rooms may be quieter than mine which faced the street. Room was clean, basic but confirmatble enough. $50 for DBL bed with Air con or DBL with fan. Fan was enough for me. Staff friendly and security good. I left a bag there when I when west and it was taken care of without problem. Tipping the security and cleaning staff small amounts of course delivers better service.

100.000 ug schilling is 5 thimes overpriced for meeting with afro girl, 20.000 it was ok. But, it was not my money.

I had a few Afro girls lined up and started there. Met them at a cafe at Nakumatt or at Speke and after a coffee or something to eat, came to hotel. Music, a few laughs and away we go. All these girls were eager to get to bed. Other girls I met on the street, in shops and at popular bars. Just said Hello, and made small talk and got a number which I called later and met the girl. Only once did I invest poorly! Really if you are pleasant, polite and can have a laugh or flirt a bit, it is easy to meet girls. I am 59 but in reasonable shape and I had the pick of a huge range of attractive women.

I visited Speke Rock Garden and the Sheraton and Serena Hotels but found these girls too professional and business-like for my tastes. But I am sure these girls will provide the goods if you want.

All the girls I had stay with me overnight (and even two who stayed all afternoon and evening until about midnight) I just gave 100,000 without discussion. All were happy. I brought a few small gifts (cosmetics and "replica" bags that I got cheaply in Bangkok) for the Afro girls and they were all happy. Treat these girls with a bit of tenderness and respect and they are yours. Try not to break too many hearts it's easy to do.

Other random things don't wear shorts!! Ugandans are well dressed and wearing shorts makes you look like a schoolboy. Really! Plenty of places to eat cheaply. Overall I felt safe and did not have any problems. Bodas are everywhere and easy to get around but of course a dangerous option. Specials (private taxi) are expensive (about 5 x) but if you make a relationship with a driver they will wait for you and be ready to take you anywhere.
