    More like full of lonely office ladies waiting to kill time at work with idle chit chat. If you're looking for a "social site" then afro is ok I guess, but if your looking to find and fuck young verified coeds, then noting beats eababes. Com in Uganda!

    End of story.

    Right up the street is the JBK hotel at $34. 50 (80k shs) per night with A / C. Which the Holiday Express Hotel does not have. As long as the girls have I'd, you can have as many in your room as you wish at no extra charge!

    Penegra prices

    I saw earlier on this board someone informing of places to buy Penegra 50 for 5000. This gives you a box of 4 tablets.

    Actually, you can buy Penegra 50 for 2500 / box (same 4 tablets) at:

    Vrushik Investments Wholesale Pharmacy, Plot 11, William Street. Tel: 349603.

    Happy hobbying.

    No need to go for a clubs anymore, just a mobile phone with photo popup in the caller I'd.
    Or worst depending on one's perspective. Then again, you also think that the Lonely planet guide is the best way to go for pristine accomodation recommendations.

    I'd rather try my luck at any club in kampala before spending a dime on afro again, but to each his own.

    Stayed at Hillview for a few days once, in 2005 though. Price was 105 USD if I remember correctly. The apartment was quite nice and spaceious. However request a room on the hillview side. They had a monster of a generator on the other side and power cuts were common. Brought a girl home one of the nights.

    Holiday express.

    Forgot to mention that Holiday express is very safe for mongering. The girl has to register. And if you speak to the guard downstairs, he will call you if he sees the girl coming downstairs and will only release her if you confirm that everything is ok. Now that is what I call room service. [

    My problem is, I want to stay for 12nights in a Hotel and a don't want to changed (if I'm not happy with it).

    Maybe I have to pay the higher prices in my first visit and meanwhile I take a look to other Hotels.

    Does anyone has informations about the following Hotels, are they nice and GF?

    Holiday Express Hotel, Tourist Hotel, Metropol Hotel, Triangle Hotel.

    Other question to the expats:

    If you walk around the town, what you do? Passport leaving in the Hotel and only a copy with you? Or the original?

    If you want to stay in contact, is it possible to buy a sim card for the cell phone?

    Lot of questions, I know.
    It is always a good idea to leave your passport in a safe place (like the hotel room safe). I never carry mine, but I do carry a photocopy.

    You can buy a SIM card here really cheap, around $5 I think. If you have a smartphone you can get internet as well as voice. There are a lot of shops around town, or you can even buy one at the airport.

    Kabira Guest House Kabalagala,

    Read this Thread now from year2009 till today, I think earlier reading to get more information about Hotels is useless, because maybe they changed it meanwhile. In other information it's still ok.

    It seems the prices for Hotels are "high" above 100$, I can't believe that there is no Hotel below 100$ (50$-80$) and not far from the "center" (city center (near Speke) , Kabalagala).

    Read some tips, but nore sure if they up to date.

    The Hotel must be Girlfriendly, should be with AC, in RoomSafe and the rooms a bit nice.

    Has someone a tip for me?
    Kabira is about 200 yards on the right as you go uphill from John Rich cheap stores on the corner 5 mins walk from Capitol Pub, no air con, no safe, ok to crash for a night or two, cheap and friendly, I think 1500 per night,

    Stay in Kabalagala

    In Kabalagala there are many hotels, you can find surely one which will suit for your needs. My favourite is Pearl Guesthouse only 35000 USH for a double with shower and tv, no safe, no AC just fan, but the room is ok. Very noisy telling the truth, because the bars opposite are booming till morning. Absolutely girl friendly, the receptionist will just smile at you, if you take 1, 2 or 3 girls up in the room on the same night.

    Besides Capitol pub there is an another hotel a little bit more expensive but no more than 50 USD. You can bargain hard, you have to know these hotels are full only in the peak season around Christmas and New Year.

    Enjoy!

    I found something about Nandos, but nothing about the hotel. Do you have an internet address?

    @Johan Waans

    Do you have any recommendations about Hotels?

    @Loso69.
