Also I forget about police. They like money to much. One time they stop me at night at buy food. That is not allowed, also not allowed to walk at nighttime, at least was not allowed to go out without passport. They assist me to go back to hotel. At entrance I give my smallest money 20.000 ugx and wish a good nigh.

Not take your passport with you. Keep it in Hotelsave until you go back. Keep a copy of your passport with you. Reception at JBK can make it. In case they want see your passport, you can take them to hotel. The security will help you there by problems.

If you make something stupid and they have a real reason to take you, then give some money. How much depend on what you make wrong. 5000 is good for a beer.

Am back after over 3 weeks holiday in Kampala.

About the gals (girls)

I give most of them 100.000 ugx after a good night (longtime). Some sweets and money for transport. 2000-3000 ugx.

I never ask them about money and all was happy.

Some of them I meet after get contact from internet. Some I get in a bar or at street.

For sure some of them I can get free after dinner and some drinks and they not asked for money, but I like to be gently.

This is a save place with very good security and service is also ok. Only there I was not cheated!

Of cause it is to much for this hotel, but if you get in problems, everybody will help you and security make this place save.

Sometimes the security assist me for goes out and help me after a group boda boda hunt me a night.

This is a por country. They will trick and cheat you to much if you don`t know the prices.

- never put your money at back pocket! Not take to much money with you. More then 500.000 ugx you can`t spend in one day.

JBK Hotel first floor is ok. Meal about 20.000 ugx and to much for only one people.

Behind JBK is some barbeque at night. (first time take security with you)

Spike Hotel (Rock garden) has a nice restaurant about 50.000 a meal.

Not go there to Indian restaurant. Cheating to much.

Sheraton Hotel has a paradise bar. Pretty good eating.

Grand Imperial is ok.

Nandos I went many times. Buy 5 pizzas and go back to your bar. Never had so many friends. Tuesday get 2 pizzas and pay one.

Bars.

I go everyday to hi table (Kampala road oppiside shell capital) Monday is full there and many thiefs.

At Rock Garden you will never sit alone.

At Nandos is a bar (Chicken palace?)

You are very right my friend, I got disappointed in "Hotel Kenrock" when went in with 2 hotties and came to know that they don't allow 2 hotties in 1 room.

This is news, used to be my favorite place for the economy and space they offered. Perhaps you should befriend the owner, the indian guy for a better deal.

Of the 6 or 7 hotels / guest houses I've stayed in, all allowed multiple women in the room. The Kenrock was the exception and one of the only hotels I would never step foot in again for a HOST of other reasons. As for renting a furnished apt in Kampala, you'll more than likely find that the guest house option is cheaper, safer and allows for more flexibility.
