Billiards;

Does anybody have any tips on where to find good quality pool tables and ok cues? I have read elsewhere that City Bar & Grill has a good quality snooker table. Not sure how up to date information that was. If somebody would like to have a few a rounds of 8 or 9 ball, or snooker, please let me know.

Swimming:

Close to our apartment is Muyenga Club where you can go swimming for USh7K per day. Any tips about better places, e. G. More horny chics hanging around the pool?

I have noticed that there are not many reports about apartments here. I usually want to rent an apartment for mongering trips, no hassling with reception / security / etc. In Uganda I and my wingman will stay in an apartment somewhere in Tank Hill. In practice it is USD50 per night per person for us (USD100 / night) , which looks like being a good value compared to a hotel such as JBK. Check out pictures here.

I love your pics and wish you the best in your travels to Kigali and Kampala. I was in Rwanda for about a year. Lots of pros at KBC club. But the best are the non-pros but only about 15% speak English. I highly recommend AfroGems or AfroIntro (not free) for Uganda. Most on Afro Intro for Uganda have jobs so they are semi pros at worst.

JP (or anyone going to Uganda) might want to find this one on afrogems. PSE / GFE, super sweet and never tires. If she's not enough for you, get her to bring her sexy (bi) friend along for the ride. Fucking fantastic!

I have a close friend who offers some interesting accomodation opportunity in Kampala as well as elsewhere in Uganda.

We're talking the guesthouse kind of accomodation, a good, clean, secure and comfortable room which is fairly priced; half way in between the expensive Hilton and the cheap Hostels.

Definitely worth a try.

I have no personal interest in this other than trying to help out a nice young friend who is a very good girl and wishes to try and make a buck with tourism.

She can provide drivers, guides and organize tours as well.

I have personally brought up the issue of accomodation in Kampala with her when she first told me she planned to start working in the tourism business. I knew this was an issue in town because I had read the forum while planning a trip over there, the trip didn't come yet but here we are. I might have done something good for the community, I certainly hope so.

I used a visa card from Barclay bank and it is always working.

I spent a fair amount of time in Uganda. So much so, that I even had both USD and UGX (shs) accts with Barclay's there. Socialized with all types of foreigners over the years, most of whom were Europeans. Never did I once hear of anyone having issues withdrawing cash from banks in Uganda using their Visa logo'd ATM cards. I repeat, never.

I'm not sure what the issue was with JP's card (or his bank) , but I can assure you that's not the norm. I do have empathy for him however, as I went thru something similar to this in Accra, Ghana about a decade ago. Not fun!

While in kampala my activities can be categorized as follows:

Daytime mongering.

Very Frustrating since not may girls in the street especially compare to kenya. In spite of my effort I got only one nice girl last time in her way to university. We stayed together for a week. In mombasa I got in average 3 girls from matattu / street / Nakumatt etc. My conclusion is to take this strategy easy.

Clubbing:

I normally focus on non pro hangout with only minor pro. The best way for that clubs is to come with a girl so she can introduce to you her friends and so on. Also if you come with a girl, other ladies are more interested so it easy to collect phone numbers. Some semi-pro girls there look like coming straight fro MTV video clip. In particular girls from Rawanda.

Clubs at Kabalagala Strip are not my thing, I prefer the more normal places such as Ange Noir and club silk.

Internet Dating:

I got 10 girls from afro, good sex and great fun. The problem is they rarely look close to their photos which they are heavenly Photoshoped. As far as dating kenya has much better looking girls but statistically you can get more sex in kampala since the girls are less sophisticated and far less busy.

So in summary for me staying in the busy area of kampala has no benefit. It is better to concentrate in dating and clubbing in a more out of the center location. Girls can come for a date from very far and distance is not a problem for them.

Ten from Afro? Not bad! Anyone to recommend or give a miss?

About banks in Uganda, I always could use my Mastercard to withdraw money in Stanbic Bank,

African do not eat outside home its expensive stop thinking as you are in Thailand. For the african outside its a dream. However around kampala Road some girls eat but few.

Yes and no. Yes Nakummat has seriously good cafe with exelent food. No for the reason that its not MBK in Bangkok, so few girls there. Remember in Africa girls do not shop at malls they only dream about that.
