Posts: 1Anyone in Kampala from July 11-20th?
I would be very grateful if someone could meet for a drink to give me some pointers and ease my concerns.
I need some help with hotels in the $30. $60 range aswell if possible. I love the idea of the sheraton or spekes but with $100+ pppn it's way over my budget.
I'm appreciative of all the members on here that have helped me plan my dream trip. I hope to be able to give back to this site to help others.
One love

Posts: 31st time visit to Uganda
I'm a quite seasoned hunter in Asia and to a certain degree in Caribia, but first time visitor to Uganda (arrival next week). I have read about first 20 pages of the Uganda ISG reports, most of them several times. Thank you very much for good insights about do's and don'ts!
Billiards;
Does anybody have any tips on where to find good quality pool tables and ok cues? I have read elsewhere that City Bar & Grill has a good quality snooker table. Not sure how up to date information that was. If somebody would like to have a few a rounds of 8 or 9 ball, or snooker, please let me know.
Swimming:
Close to our apartment is Muyenga Club where you can go swimming for USh7K per day. Any tips about better places, e. G. More horny chics hanging around the pool?

Cycling:
Anybody done any cycling trips around Kampala? I found this, any experiences about it?

I have noticed that there are not many reports about apartments here. I usually want to rent an apartment for mongering trips, no hassling with reception / security / etc. In Uganda I and my wingman will stay in an apartment somewhere in Tank Hill. In practice it is USD50 per night per person for us (USD100 / night) , which looks like being a good value compared to a hotel such as JBK. Check out pictures here.

Cheers and happy hunting

I love your pics and wish you the best in your travels to Kigali and Kampala. I was in Rwanda for about a year. Lots of pros at KBC club. But the best are the non-pros but only about 15% speak English. I highly recommend AfroGems or AfroIntro (not free) for Uganda. Most on Afro Intro for Uganda have jobs so they are semi pros at worst.

I'm not sure what the issue was with JP's card (or his bank) , but I can assure you that's not the norm. I do have empathy for him however, as I went thru something similar to this in Accra, Ghana about a decade ago. Not fun!

I met this girl off of afrogems (phone contact only member). She's looking for white guys only and is ultimately looking for something serious (I know, whatever). In the meantime, she's more than happy to have some fun if you're white and in Kampala.
No raving beauty, but not ugly either. Decent curves and can ride dick (reverse cowgirl) better than most East African girls. As an added bonus, she's also into BBJCIM which is not easy to find in Kampala. Certainly not the CIM component.
Typically only avail during the daytime.
She goes by the name of "Ronah" on afrogems.

John Palmer,
If the street walking is not a good option then let's think what can be other daytime options.
I will be there next week, flying from Nairobi. I will definetely avoid internet dating, in Kenya I was upset: girls look good on photos but not in real life.
- Are there street cafes with outdoor terraces, where you can sit and watch girls pass by? I missed this kind of things in Kenya.
- Maybe there are places where lots of students or working girls go for lunch?
- Are there any cultural / street events? When I was in Cuba, every week people just got out to the street for mini-festivals for dancing and drinking. I was surprised there was nothing like this in Kenya, they just get drunk in noisy clubs with mtv shit music. Hope for Uganda.
- is there a big mall where girls come to chill out, as they do in asia?
- is there a park where girls come to relax?
- to your impression, which area of the city has most number of walking girls?
Generally, I think in Africa girls are hiding somewhere. In asia the girls / men ratio in the street is 7/3. In Africa its 1/10. So we just have to understand where they are hiding.
I agree with you about Rwanda. I'm in Nairobi but staying with a beautiful girl from Rwanda who I approached in the street. To what I understood Rwanda girls are more romantic and sophisticated and they have a nice art de vivre in Rwanda. So this country is on my list now.
