There is actually a lot to do here that is "Non-mongering". Just over an hour away is Jinja (White Water Rafting on class-5 rapids is not to be missed). You can also rent ATVs and drive through the country-side). Headed the other direction, taking a few days to visit the many game parks (Murcheson Falls, Queen Elizabeth, Lake Mburo, etc.) is amazing. Gorillia trekking is an experience of a life-time.

Do you happen to remember any of the names of the cheaper locals hotels that are still acceptable?

Range of prices: read again my report. The only prices I know are the ones I mentioned there. Pls note that my best experiences were with girls who did NOT ask me any money. I gave them some present after (that's a lotta difference).
Hotels: sorry I dont remember any name.
Non-monger things to do: explore the markets (Owino) daytime, walk around to see people, try to chat with girls at bus stands and at coffee shops (Bancafe), play pool with girls and guys at bars in Kabalagala, go to eat fried fish on the beach of Victoria Lake (I think 2-3 km before Entebbe there's a nice place).

As for massages - went by the Chinese place and met a beautiful girl from Rwanda - petite, beautiful face. Had a great 1 hr massage - professionally done.
