The society in Uganda is much more conservative.

I have placed a link to the ROD's not because it is detail-rich or full of great tips.

But rather because it is quite literally a report distinguished by its subject matter: sociology.

And assuming it's true across the board (and even if it's not) , this is quite fascinating for the monger looking for something fundamentally different and, perhaps, more rewarding.

Kenya it is classical adult playground, the roots it is within the society and major contribution is a constant stream of foreigners which creates the image of a waling ATM. This image has been transferred from mothers to daughters constantly.

In Kenya, sex is like to grab a sandwich, nothing much to think about. Its all about now, Futures and long term relationship is irrelevant.

The society in Uganda is much more conservative. Girls generally keen to find a boyfriend not just sex. The heavy British influence is still very apparent everywhere you go. Peoples are serious they think long term, ladies wants to get married so its about strategic goals. This is the reason that they don't ask for transport money or any laundry name for it. Its about social class. The following paragraph illustrates en example.

I am white engineer which initially position me as high class in uganda but when I met a mid-class lady lawyer at Nandos pizza, (she own a car, house etc) , she was trying to find out additional details about my class. At some point, I told her I am staying at budget hotel, this makes our meeting to its end.

Kampala is more expensive then Kenya this includes hotels, food and fuel price. Kampala ATM's don't accept international credit cards (I tried American express) , so I used western union to transfer money. Its seems to be like Kenya 20 years ago. Kenya is much seems to be more sex oriented and easy place for the tourist.

Ugandan ladies seems to be a real wan so if a lady don't want you she will walk away instantly. She will not pretend to be in love as in Kenya (after 5 minutes) , From other hand if they like you they will call again and again. No cheap talking such 'I love you', 'I miss you etc'. My greatest enjoyment wasn't the sex itself it was all about meeting sincere and real persons (ladies). When they groan in bed its was real, (I was view the video on my HD display with post processing analysis). When you hear silence its means they don't fake it.

After I found a girlfriend its change the my trip experience completely and its so much differ then the fake Kenyan.

I would say that if you fancy sex go to Kenya but if you are looking for an educated Non-Pro wife / girlfriend you can trust, then Uganda is the place to look for.

In kampala clubs you can find ladies that putting then next to halle berry and Tyra Banks will make the last ones feels disgusting with suicidal tendencies. In fact, these ladies can sweet the floor with most African ladies with the Exception of mali, Senegal and cote the'ivoire.

In some of these clubs some students acts as a pro. I found those 180cm, cartoon look to good to be a student only.

Kampala nightlife can be categorized by two parts as follows:

• Pro hangouts / bars.

• Normal places bars / clubs.

Pro hangouts / bars:

'Top bar'

Just next to my hotel I found the 'Top bar' which was local bar full of pros. I will attached a photo. I didn't take any of the ladies.

'Speke hotel garden'

This place is the lower class ever created in this universe. Its basically street level pro that cluster in one location. I went out after one minute.

'Capital bar'

I visit this place saw a few ladies and some 60 old men. The security officer asked to keep my camera memory card. I went out after 5 minutes.

Normal places bars / clubs.

This places can be categorizes by the geographical location. The best place to fine the exact location is to use Google maps. (Just type the name of the bar / street). I was printing the specific area of the bars clubs.

Kisimenti (type 'copper Road kampala' at google map)

The place is swamped with popular bars, Fat boys, just kicking and Iguana. Each bar is unique with a different crowd. Mzungu likes iguana. The problem of these places is the remote / far location.

Kampala Road.

This is one of the most happening places over the weekend.

Club Rouge-its next to a new bar called 9 degree. Best day is Wednesday. Admission is 5K. It's a small club nothing special for tourists.

Kampala Road (Industrial area)

Club silk-Saturday and Tuesday-some atomic bombs needed to be neutralized.

Ange Noir –Thursday is ladies free so some serious genetic mutations can be found.

Steak out (open bar) at Wandegeya

Known for its Super Tuesday mostly students. Nice but not a classical hunting zone.

Ground zero on Bombo Road next to Steak out is also a very popular place.

In summery: for the best model grade ladies, (non-pro and semi-pro) , clubs (not bars) are the best places to be.

Hi Again.

Internet dating made me tired, here some reasons:

• Managing all phone numbers and calls are energy consuming.

• The final meeting results didn't bring me neither quality girls or particularly good looking / sexy one.

I have decided to do what I know best, to hunt them at streets. I hit an attractive 20 years old lady (a student) , which became my girlfriend went to clubs together, restaurants and lovely and funny conversations.

Orientation:

Kampala build on a hill or a mountain so most streets are sloppy which makes the navigation unpleasant.

Kampala road cut the city into two logical parts. The area below kampala Road is nosy, polluted and extremely crowded. Most of the budget hotels are there. Above kampala Road is the more relax neighborhoods which have the better hotels and the environment looks much nicer.

Hotels.

In Kampala no midrange / budget hotels options. Its all about the location so if you stay below kampala Road prices can vary from 13-70usd which will give you the pretty much similar room. Staying at these hotel will give you the image that you are poor due to the location.

Stepping up to the better areas, including Sheraton, imperial or speke will jump the price to cross the 100usd threshold. All prices however are not fixed and can be negotiate.

Since I didn't want to spend 100usd a day I stayed at 'Astoria hotel' at burton street opposite the old taxi park.

I came with 25 phone numbers of MTV style students. Here is some highlights:

This is my first report, after a couple years of reading. Unfortunately, it isn't a positive report, but I am sharing to help others.

I met a pro at Capital Pub (never really knew her name). No papers (I know, I know.) Probably 25-30. I stammered something about her being my friend. The girl was immediately hostile towards the police officer, saying things like,"What have we done? We have broken no laws." but with great attitude. I was scared shitless and trying to cooperate (given my situation at home and the fact that my international flight left the next day). The police officer said prostitution is illegal. We both responded with surprise and she with anger (well feigned, I must say). He saw we were walking closely and that we had just met, though, so he knew the score.

I had left my passport in my room (less than 100 feet away) but he wouldn't let me get it and only had my drivers license for I'd. This too caused a problem. After some chitchat, he declared that he was arresting me for prostitution and I think failure to have passport. At this point it was unclear what he was going to do with the girl. We started the short walk to the police station, with my life at home flashing before my eyes. The girl was greatly annoying the police officer at this point, so I asked her to give us privacy (which greatly annoyed her).

I then started the typical,"We are men. We should be able to resolve issues without our bosses. We are men. Let me apologize to you for taking your time and not understanding your culture better. It is my responsibility to know your culture and laws and I apologize if I have offended you. I would like to resolve this with you now, so I can go back to my hotel and sleep and get to the airport." We negotiated 70, 000 (about $30 US) , with him specifying that I couldn't meet up with the girl (she was at this point a couple hundred feet behind). I agreed-this really took the wind out of my sails and I had no remaining interest in the girl anyway. I started walking away.

I didn't get far before the girl caught up, saying,"Man, Man (she apparently didn't know my name either) , you didn't tell me you were leaving." I said something like,"I am sorry, but I can't see you. I will be arrested again. I can't be with you. The police officer won't allow it." She started freaking out, demanding payment and private taxi fare, etc. I kept walking (the cop was watching for all I knew). She showed her true demon self at this point, indicating,"I will make big trouble for you. You will not disrespect me." I handed her 5, 000 (we had just taken a 4, 000 boda ride from Capital, so this would get her back) and tried to distance myself. She demanded private fare and more money. I (foolishly) started running. I was scared that the cop would see me with her and really bust me.

She started yelling after me in local language and people started trying to stop me. I suspect she was telling them I robbed or abused her or something. Anyway, there were 2 other cops on the block-must have been some sort of round up on this block this night. Probably a good thing for me, given the local mob mentality. I saw the 2 cops right as people were starting to grab at me. The cops asked me,"what is the problem?" The evil girl caught up and spoke in local language, accusing me of something. They asked me what had happened again. I was truly in shock at this point and really seeing my home life flash before my eyes. I stammered something about,"I have no problem" and tried to wink at the evil girl to let her know I would make things right with her if she would withdraw her complaint. She said,"don't wink at me" and gave me the evil eye and demanded action from the police.

I realized I had to get away from her, so asked the officers if we could walk away. They said "sure, because you are under arrest for disturbing the peace among other things." We started walking back to the police station. I mostly came clean about the girl be / see I needed to explain why I was running from her. Fortunately, the cops believed me completely. But this time it cost me 100, 000 ($45 US) to avoid going to the police station. But I insisted that the escort me back to the hotel so I could avoid her and the crowd that saw this chase.

What a nightmare. Not sure what others can learn from this. I'm sure some ex pats could cite 12 errors that I made. I wouldn't mind some constructive feedback, but please no flamers.

P. S. I have convinced myself that the evil girl would have become evil after sex and probably demanded as much in bribes as the cops did (course, I'd have had sex).

I don't know about 12, but you made at least 2 errors getting yourself in this mess to begin with:

1) Bad timing. It's pre-election time. Increased police presence.

2) Capital Pub. Aviod the bottom-of-the-barrel hookers. The best way to get girls in ug is on-line. Try afro or eababes next time.

I've spent alot of time in ug and have never had a single encounter with the police. Can't say the same about kenya or Ghana. Sorry that you had a bad experience, but it's africa and these things happen. Try ug again, it really does have some of the sweetest pussy around!

I rarely go to Capital Pub but decided to hit Kabalagala last weekend, thus making Capital a natural choice to visit.

I like the feeling of entering the place around 10 pm, order a cold one and just wait for the first bird to approach me. This time around, the first one to come over was a hardcore who reminded me of a ladyboy. I know those kind of things are not by far as common here as in Thailand and she probably were just a girl, but nevertheless I got really suspicious and told her to get lost.

The next one who came over was a rather shabby Sudanese girl who wanted to 'fuck me' all night, but she turned me off so she was also politely asked to leave me alone.

After many similar 'fuck' offers, I decided to take home a 20 year old with a nice round ass.

The conclusion is that Capital Pub is still very vibrant and offers lots of fun. As I have felt like shagging a lot recently, I will give Rock Garden a shot tomorrow night. Lately, I have also had some luck with campus girls at Steak Out in Wandegeya and High Table on Kampala Road.

As others have said before me – Kampala is a city just waiting to get fucked and women are everywhere! There's no need to even hit the places described above, but I would recommend it if you don't want to be stuck with a possessive girlfriend who calls you all the time.
