Please feel free to call me Mr. Stingy, but after thorough negotiations i have payed the equivalent of 5 Euro for a beautiful girl picked up from Rock Garden at Speke Hotel.

Never pay for as much as they ask.

And if you want to have quality sex, don't rush into things! These girls don't come by the hour or whatever time measurement. Talk to them, charm them a little, and they will do whatever you want! This is a very important tip!!!!

Also, do not go to Rock Garden or Al's Bar later than 1 o'clock. You can still find tens of girls even at 3 o'clock, but the later you get them in the evening, the more tired they are, the worse they perform.

Just to confirm, speke is a good starting point and have a wide variety of girls from all neighbouring countries. U can find just about any size, colour, etc, that you could ever dream of. I attached 2 pics of a gf i met recently at speke. She is half ugandan/sudanese. And yes, u r a sucker if u pay more than 20 bucks, but on the other hand, why not pay 40 so the girl can get a decent living and take care of her self. Just a thought.

I have a late report for Uganda. The delay as you are all aware is due to the old WSG was off line and I had quit filing any reports as such.

In September 2004, I was in Uganda for six weeks and did take in mongering though with restrictions as I was visiting family and also had a temp girlfriend.

The juicy details about women follow:

Speke Hotel: On any given night, there were lots of girls to pick from. You can watch sports on TV, drink beers for a buck and half and wait for the pickings. Most girls seemed relaxed but there were a few aggressive ones. A good mix of girls from all over Uganda with some from near by Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania. I thought Rwandese girls were very beautiful and sexy. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. On some nights, there was DJ dancing and the place got parked. The few girls I pulled from Rock Gardens did not ask for much. I think with $10 - $20 you can score easy. If you are paying Western prices, you are being seen as a sucker, born every minute. Sorry to say!

Sheraton: I did not venture up there thinking the pricing structure at the Sheraton is more geared to those guys with an expense account i.e. burning some one else's money.

Club Five: On the gates of Makere University was more relaxed on the nights I went and I saw many couple types but I am sure with a little attempt, a monger will score the co-eds easily.

Angenoir: The best Disco joint in town that can compare with any disco any where at least inside the club i.e. laser lights and the works. I was with a date in the VIP seating and so many women in that place.

Club Silk: On the same block just below Angenoir but I did not go inside.

Sax Pub: On William street didn't catch my drift so I passed.

The Venue: In Uganda's only true enclosed Mall seemed like an interesting place but I was with family and friends. A nice place to hang out with a date or friends.

Out of town: Why anyone would want to go to the likes of Al's Bar, Half London in Kasanga, I have no idea? I didn't venture to go there! I think the danger to run into serious or bad situations in Kasanga Bars would be higher.

Street Girls: What? Even Kampala now boasts lots of street girls but with $10 for a nice gal some even are 8 why even bother with the street?

Food: Shangai and Fang Fang both serve nice Chinese menus. One has to eat and get that energy you know.

Hotel: Athina Club House in Kololo gives good value and quiet. You need a taxi but the price is cheap. I don't think you ever pay more than $3-$5 any where around town. There is an Irish Pub near the Athina I think OLeary's. Boy apart from the big tropical Palm trees, once inside with the many British and Irish, you think you are in Dublin not Kampala. A nice place to chill out.

Short Time: If you are daring you can go to some cheap lodges around Nakasero market for under $20 bucks and get your fix with your trick. The hotels in Kampala are expensive with hardly any $50 places of good value!

The few girls I tried did a good job in bed and some surprised me with their BJ skills. I was not offered any anal and I did not ask but I'm sure with the right girl, price and combination of raport anything is possible.

I found Kampala to be very cheap city besides the expensive cost of hotel. The food, drinks, girls and Kamonye is very cheap.

Yes, you can't tell ahead of time. What I meant was that if a guy does get stuck with a heavy drinker, don't be afraid to walk away from her rather than bring her to your hotel room and wait for her to sober up - more trouble than it's worth.

The worst experiences I've had are with Somali girls who have a bad temper to start with. Once they get drunk the become a pain and I've even had trouble walking away (short of leaving the bar) without calling security. Very beautiful women but unfortunately I've had nothing but bad experiences especially where alcohol's involved.

Once they get too drunk to walk straight taking them to your room is asking for trouble.

Check out a post I wrote about my July visit to Nairobi, Kenya - I hooked up with a hot babe at Simmers but gave up on her once I realized how drunk she was and walked out of the bar alone. Last thing I needed was to bring a rowdy drunk back to my room, who might then spend half the night puking in the toilet!

Thanks for the report and photo. I smiled when I read your comment about Gini - as I get older, I tend to avoid the girls who drink too much. They end up being more trouble than it's worth. In one memorable case in Tanzania, the girl dropped on the bed and fell into a semi-coma as soon as she got into the room - she was so "dead" that it wasn't worth it to try anything. Then in the a.m. she got an attitude even though I gave her more than enough money to take a cab home.

I'm hardly an expert, as I've only been in Uganda on two occasions, both brief.

But I was in Kampala for a short time in July and can verify that what Member #1071 writes is correct. I liked the scene in the Rock Garden, as well as the Speke Hotel overall.

Silk is one place, i prefer Rouge these days and to a lesser extend still Shearaton (before midnight).

let's face it, small medium-range establishment must be commended.

I usually go to the Rock Garden as a last resort. Much more fun of the less "hard cash upfront" variety I found at Club Silk and to some extent, Ange Noir.

Of course I had the benefit of a Ugandan buddy who helped me "Pull". All the clubs had hot women, but at the end I felt Club Silk had what I was looking for in terms of attitude.

Just my experience. Others may differ.

i visited uganda last week and, following the recommendations from this board, i spent a couple of nights in speke hotel. speke is really a post-colonial oasis in a city with otherwise little to offer (talking tourism - not mongering) to the urban traveller.

rock gardens (the place comes to life just after 6 p.m. and moves up to speed after dark) are as good as their reputation, although i would argue that many of the girls are a little "too smart" for their semi-pro status. by this i mean, in other developing countries you find either professionals who know it all and do it all, but who also turn tricks, or occasional vendors who provide reliable gfes. many of the girls at rock try to have it both ways.

i also have to disagree with an earlier poster who said that the girls will not try to make a pass after you in the restaurant itself (just outside the bar area) for fear of the management. this is blatantly untrue. on the contrary there is a small group of woman who hang out in the restaurant itself during the evening and who will, given half an ounce of inducement, sit down at your table. however, these seem to be the most hard-boiled pros of them all and i tried to avoid them.

all in all i enjoyed three short-timers in speke hotel (i don't like all-nighters when i'm in strange lands...) and thoroughly enjoyed it. i also enjoyed the professional and discrete service of speke's staff, which in a top-market hotel could be taken for granted, but which in a, let's face it, small medium-range establishment must be commended.
