I need help for affordable, clean, safe, nice location and monger-friendly hotel in Kampala.

The Sheraton & Imperial are too expensive and would blow my monger budget! Not a good idea spending on hotel instead of babes.

Any recommendetions for Sept/Oct travel will be appreciated!

If you are not lucky with your search in Uganda, you'll find some in Nairobi. There is quite a sizeable population here, however I cannot tell you specifically where they hang out. Some are there however in the New Florida disco or may be more at Florida 2000 disco. Primarily Somalis, but you might want to search for you other choices.

I do not ever remember seeing Ethiopians,Eritreans or Somalis in Uganda, though I may have just missed them. There are a lot of Somali refugees across the lake in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and you can find them at the California Bar almost every night, or at least you could five years ago.A ton of Tutsi ladies from Rwanda and Barundi go to Uganda and hang around the Speke, but they're not mixed race.

Mostly, Ethiopians tend to stay in their own country unless they migrate to Europe or the US. Aside from Djibouti, which is next door to Ethiopia, I have never found many Ethiopians anywhere but Ethiopia and of course, Eritrea.

I will be in Uganda in September visiting family and wish to combine my trip with mongering.

However, I more like the mixed race, Ethiopian, Eriteria, Somali and Djibouti women over Ugandan momen!

My question: Do I have to travel to Ethiopia to find these other Ethiopian babes I like or can I find some in Uganda?

And where else in East Africa is the hit rate high for the Ethiopian, Somali, Eriteria, Djibouti, Somali & mixed race babes that I prefer?

I would hate to fly from country to country really.

Got back to Kampala on Wednesday evening, went to On the rocks at Speke hotel. A lot of girls again. Very quickly had one sitting on my lap and took her to my room. After one session she was tired already, so I regretted not having taken my favourite girl and sent this one home. Luckily enough had my favourite looking for me, so about one hour later I got a call in my room that she was downstairs, had to make up the bed and get rid of the used condom very quickly. Went downstairs and had a great time again. Decided to stay with her for the rest of my stay in Kampala and did not regret it : she even asked me to take Viagra. Think she is one of the best girls I have ever had (and I have had a lot). Have to go back to work now, but I really can recommend Kampala as an alternative to Nairobi.

I hope to make it in September or October, but hate making false promises, so we shall see. Am very worried about falling in love with a Filipina and sticking with her, because they are so sweet.

Have used your friend`s cure on numerous trips to Thailand too and it definetely works. Have to agree that South East Asia can not be compared with Africa, but i just wanted to have a change and see some other parts of the world.

I like South America too, though I have only been a few times and to a limited number of countries, but in the end, nothing (even most countries in Africa) really compares to SE Asia. To me, it's worth the long trek. I live (when I am not here) in Paris, so I know what you mean by long trips. My good friend the Dragon Slayer, who usually posts in the Davao, Philippines section, has a good cure for jet lag. He immediately finds a girl or two or three when he gets here, and screws himself into oblivion. That enables him to sleep until his biological clock catches up. It seems to work for him.

As I said, let me know if and when you ever get to the PI.

Decided to leave my girl in Kampala , because of too much sex(no joking) and a bit worried of getting too close. Want to get away from the 'mira 'or what they call 'chat' in Ethiopia. It is a plant they chew and it really gets you horny, a deadly combination if you are in Kampala and like black women.

It's been a while since I was there, so things may have changed somewhat, but I had better luck picking up women from Rwanda and Barundi at the Speke than anywhere else. I am a French speaker, which is slightly unusual in Kampala, and these girls had very limited English, so I had little competition from other expats. As I said though, the scene may have changed over the last few years.

Let me know by PM if you get to the Philippines, which is where I am currently living. It too, is a great place and, if you have not been here for a while, you might want to check some of the more recent posts.

Thanks for the information. Checked out Ange Noir on Friday evening and had a great time, not very crowded though. Checked out Sax pub on Friday, which is a bit more low class as stated in an earlier report. I guess you are right there is a fine line between pro and non pro, if you can distinguish between the real hardcore one`s and the others. Gave some money to one in the Philippines to go to college.Never thought she would finish it, but she is graduating in March and wants me to go to her graduation day.

Anyway, checked out the bar in Speke hotel and think that is the hottest place in town for pro`s . Some nice SW`s around there too.

Am going to Kigali tomorrow,but am thinking of taking my favourite girl with me.Think am getting a lot less hardcore than during my days in the Philippines and Thailand.

I always found that there's a fine line between the pros and the non-pros there, and sometimes the line becomes invisible. Girls at Al's routinely get into fights over men. Try the Half London restuarant/bar next to Al's on the nights the place has live music. It's crawling with women, and the scene is more relaxed than Al's Bar. I never liked Ange Noir because it's always too mobbed and I get a headache from the music after 10 minutes or so. However, there's an English sports pub about 2 kilometers down the road from there that's more relaxed and has tons of women as well. You might also want to check out the pub/restaurant at the Sheraton between 8 and 10 PM, as there are usually a lot of women there as well. Try sitting at one of the tables outside and let them come to you. I have also had some luck in the late afternoon on the terrace of the Grand Imperial Hotel down the street from the Speke. You may want to go there for coffee some day and check the place out. There's also a bar in the back of the ground floor of the Imperial which is not too bad on some nights.

That was my territory 2 yrs ago. If you are to please yourself, work by the hour and let go. Go for the next kill. More than 80% of my kill was at close to zero cost. Only spent on booze and chicken.

Al's bar and Capital pub are their full-time spots. A street between Ange Noir and Club Silk discotheques is a flesh open market and so is the street from General Post Office, Sheraton Hotel, Speke and Grand Imperial Hotels.

Hot chica pick up points:

1. The venue/ Allegators
2. The Rhino bar at Sheraton
3. The Rock gardens at speke

Many who speak good Engish are University students, especially if found in clubs, and usually move in pairs or groups. Any silly pick up line will do.
Should you have to pay:
1. Quickie (up to 1hr) = 5,000- 10,000 UG Shs ( 2.5-5 US$)
2. Transnite = 10,000-50,000 UG Shs.

You can withdraw money using your credit card at Standard Chartered Bank, close to Speke hotel or Baclays bank, Kampala road or Luwum street.

Kampala is very safe but be careful and lock away valuables if you take one to your room. Getting a friendly taxi driver (cars with stripes and letter S and called special hire) will help you with your errands. Cost: 10,000-20,000 UG Shs. will take you to any part of the city. The yellow taxis are more safe but twice as expensive.

Arrived in Kampala Tuesday evening and am feeling very happy having left Kenia. Sat outside Speke Hotel and met a nice one from the eastern part of the country, went to Al`s bar ,i did not really like the music there, but apart from that it is ok. Another girl looked at me there and wanted to talk to me, my girl steered me away to another corner and what then happened has never happened to me before: the other one started following us and eventually it ended up in a fight outside the club between them. That should give you an idea about the level of competion between the girls here.
Decided to stay with my first one and my god I did not regret it. Right now I have bruises under my kneecaps and my back hurts decided not to fuck for two days now. It was one of the best encounters I have ever had (I have been to 43 countries). I wonder if all the others are like that too or was I just lucky. I guess it should not be difficult to find another one, am just wondering what to do right now. Stay with her or not. I usually get fed up with them very easily, but I find the attitude here really great. Went to buy some chat (I think they call it something else here than in Ethiopia) with her and had a walk around town,she left me in an internet cafe here,but was very reluctant to do so. Had to force her more or less. Again that is how worried they are here about the competion. Think I will go to Ange Noir tonight, but no sex.

I guess it is very easy to pick up non pros here too,but am always worried about the emotional drama to which it can lead.

Summarizing, I would say this is really a great place for somebody who does not like more commercial countries like Kenya. Will try to report later again.
