Hi all,

It is that time of the year for me to hit UG. I read that one can find girls in Kampala using Facebook? Clearly my circle of FB friends is not wide enough. Would anyone kindly give me pointers on how to do this?

Instead of using Facebook register at "Badoo" or "Tagged". These are dating website and especially with Badoo you can easily get in touch with Ugandan girls.

If you use the mobile version you can even use the app to get a list of logged in members in the area around you own current location.

I recently went to Garden City Mall without any expectations. I thought I might try the Venue but never got there because I spotted a tall gorgeous lady, probably mid twenties. Later she said she was 23. I made a stupid comment as I went to walk around her.

It turned out that she was from Sudan and just window shopping. Needless to say she was really easy to talk to and spoke English reasonably. I was in no rush and so after something to eat and a beer or three, we ended up back at my hotel. It was a bit like being a teenager again. She was not the most skilled but really enjoyed herself and I really got off on the experience.

Gave her some taxi money and saw her for a couple of days. Everything was cool and then my work intervened. While I was involved with work, she called me several times a day as if she was checking up on me. Nothing sinister. Met her a few days later. Again, a great experience but it was clear that she thought she had bagged a future husband. I had to pretend to leave the country to get away from her and change my SIM card. She had found my business card in the room and now sends me emails asking when I will come back. Thankfully the address on my business card is in a foreign country.

A Ugandan pal who has spent a lot of time abroad gave me the following advice which I will share with you. If you pick up a freelancer or semi-pro or non-pro and spend a couple of days with her, make sure you tell her you are married although this does not prevent some of them as they think either your wife will accept polygamy or that she will oust your wife in time. But being married will at least keep her from thinking you are looking for a spouse. With some of them, best to bring the lady to a cheap hotel so that they do not get into your stuff. And keep a separate phone / SIM for mongering or tell her that your wife keeps tabs on your phone and that is why you cannot give your phone number. But that would make it difficult to hook up with the same lady on some later date, if that is what you wanted to do.

My Ugandan pal told me about an experience where he brought a lady back to his bachelor apartment and after two days of not answering her calls she showed up at his office. She managed to find out from the gateman at his apartment complex where his office was.

Sometimes a massage with FS is just easier.

Yup, I did. On instinct really, but I was right and nothing came of it. I am not usually so rash, but that time something told me it would be OK.

Can't go far with a credit card in Uganda (even if it's yours) and most thieves are not savvy enough to sell your card info on the black market anyway. The police and banks will both tell you that when tourists are robbed (usually via pickpocket) the thieves simply throw away anything that isn't cash. In many cases, what they throw away is more than sufficient to steal / sell your identity.

Clearly you didn't go back far enough to get a better perspective on things. Lots of wet dreams to be had and more in Uganda if you know what you're doing.

Well, I am a Ugandan, but I would like to tell you that picking prostitutes up is much easier than getting the ordinary girls. Mostly because of the fact that the prostitutes are way cheaper than the "average" girl. African women tend to equate skin colour with money, so unless you are African-American, getting your money's worth will be a hustle. But there are some good spots to start from, depending on whether you are more interested in prostitutes than normal women.

Any punters out there can recommend GF reasonable lodging in Entebbe? I am going there for the first time in early October. I could use some help. PM me is ok?

IMHO the best place to stay in Entebbe is "Two Friends Hotel. " Best as in service, friendliness and quality. They have a sister hotel in Jinja.

As far as I know, they are GF but you have to pay a double supplement if you bring extra company back to your room.
