Ok boys I waited long enough to report on my recent trip to Lusaka. I lived in Kenya for four years and thought I learned all I needed to know about level headed mongering. I guess not. I always forget how much of a drunken piece of shit I can become.

Arrived in Lusaka after a long airline trip about 5 in the afternoon. I arrived at my hotel near the Holliday Inn. I arranged for a taxi to drive me around town so that I could get orientated to the city

After driving around and seeing the city I asked the driver to let me off at the Holliday Inn. As I drank some moshie I noted some ladies hanging out at the bar. None looked that good and all looked a little rough around the edges.

After a few beers I got into another taxi toward Alpha bar. The taxie was only 10, 000 Kwatcha from the Inn to Alpha. I arrived at 10:00 and the bar was dead. By 12:30 the place was packed. Many Many Many young and hot looking ladies. The biggest difference between a bar in Nairobi and Lusaka is that the ladies are not anywhere as aggressive.

I started drinking really heavy and talking to some chick. I ran out of money and went back to my hotel about 2:00 to get more money. I came back to alpha and started drinking even harder. THIS WAS A BIG MISTAKE.

This is where I was approached by two women. The one was an Indian and the other was a Zambian. Both turned out to be a complete nightmare the next morning. They most have spotted the sloppiest drunk in the bar.

After much talking to them about what I want to do to them. I ended up getting into a taxi and going to their flat someplace in Lusaka. ANOTHER MISTAKE. We ended up fuckiing all night and also added their house girl into the mix. The next morning I was woke up standing over the pisser trying to [CodeWord140] with the condom still attached to my dick.

I had a real hard time even remembering what the fuck I did with these ladies. All I know is I woke up next to the house girl and the other two were in the next room sleeping. After getting my thoughts back together I got dressed and tried to leave however one of the ladies put a lock on the front rebar gate door thus baring my exit.

I went back into the room where the house girl was and she asked for some money. Ok not a problem. I gave her 300, 000 Kwatcha (60 bucks) and I thought that would suffice for everyone. I was wrong.

This sufficed for the house girl only but now the Indian woke up and she was a ****. She wanted 200 dollars for her and her friend. I then stated no she is not going to get 200 and that I gave her house hand all my money. She stated to bad that she was not going to open the door until I manifested some money. During this I was looking at my situation and my environment. All the windows were bared and the door had a rebar cage around it (quite Norman in Africa). I knew that I was not able to kick the door open or squeeze my fat ass out a window. I thought about cold cocking the ladies and taking the keys. But I thought that this would be a huge fight and all the neighbors would be running to help the ladies out. So I did the next best thing. I lied. I told the Indian (who was the ring leader of this opportunity) that I could get her more money if I could just go back to my hotel 'Lusaka hotel' to get my money card. The Indian was real skeptical about this but as time continued and I showed her that I in fact did not have any more money she finally gave in.

As she was getting dressed I continued to walk around the flat. I found myself back in the bedroom and stumbled upon the 300, 000 kwatcha that the house girls stashed away. I thought fuck her and the rest. They were trying to steal money from me so I am going to steel the money back from them. I re pocked the money in my socks and left with the Indian * to my so called hotel. This Indian was like a fly on shit. I did not know what I was going to do but felt liberated to be out of that fucking apartment. I was thinking about rolling out of the taxie on the way to the hotel. We got down to Lusaka Hotel and I pretended to walk in the front door but the Indian was right behind me. I did not want a seen so I told her that I had my ATM card and that we could go to the Barclays across the street. At this she was pressuring me for the 200 dollars and I was thinking no fucking way am I paying this **** anything more than 300, 000 (which is way to much). I took out the money and gave it to her and she was still persistent.

At this point I was considering jacking her in the head to be done with it. So I kept walking and she followed. I crossed the street and guess who comes walking around the corner? The house girl I took the money from. She started asking me and the other girl if we took the money from her. I was like 'money what's money'. The two girls argured for a while and the Indian finaly came to my defense stating that I could not have stolen the money and that she must have put it in the wrong place.

Finally the ordeal was over and they left and I went back to my hotel not anywhere close to Lusaka Hotel.

It was not a big deal and my only problem is that drinking is my worst enemy. I hope I did not bore you all. I can't forget that It is not a good idea to get [CodeWord140] durk in Africa surrounded by ladies.

I was a bit constrained my last visit to Lusaka, but if I were there on my own here is what I'd do: There is a newish (likely Chinese-owned) apartment / motel complex called Grand Palace less than 1 km from the shopping centre called Arcades. It looks to provide free access to the rooms by car or taxi without the hassles of desk clerks or guards. At Arcades, as mentioned in this thread, there are always FLs walking around or sitting at the large semi-open air bar / restaurant / clubs. Scoring would be totally easy and there were some hotties there. So the drill would be to enjoy a nice dinner, choose a companion, and head home to Grand Palace by taxi. Someone please try it and let me know. Don't ask me for details because I didn't actually stay there, but they advertise a $130 rate and lots of luxury, which seems cheap for Lusaka.

I'll be there in a couple of weeks and I'll let you know how it goes.

I was expecting your answer, but there are some surprises. For example, you can't get those things in Namibia! Embarrassing, if after a long and exhausting trip and flight you are just too tired to react "properly" and some help would be welcomed.

Anybody here with more experience than me who could make a list of countries where one would need to come supplied?

Last time I was in Copperbelt in 2003 in Kitwe it was easy to find street action. Not a single one when I was there last month,

What country is better for mongering Zambia or Malawi?

I love both countries but would say Malawi has the slight edge as the scene is more down to earth and still has a strange innocence to it. Even many of the street girls are just noce chicks who want to earn a few bucks without getting a proper job! The Zed girls are more sophisticated and professional than their Malawian counterparts. In terms of looks there is nothing between them. Initally I preferred the Zambian girls but I have come to realise that they just dress better and live in a better class of poverty. A check by The Independent Post (TIP) at nightclubs such as Kanyama's Kanchembele and Chine Chikayeba found long queues of men waiting to have sex with a limited number of prostitutes.

A single prostitute served nearly 11 men and there were more than 200 men wanting to celebrate Zambia's first qualification to the Africa Cup final since 1994 in style.

Southern Sun Ridgeway is NOT girl friendly. The security guards complicate matters. Rack rate is above $200 and for having a overnight visitor the charge is $50. 00 depending on one's negotiation skills.
