Yet ANOTHER request for first-hand info regarding my recent trip.

The following is information that doesn't really have anything to do with sexual pursuits. But since it wasn't in my other reports and it seems like some people want to know, I thought I'd share with everyone.

Ok, the food is ok there. You have to be careful about drinking the water just like any other third world country. Not only a risk of travellers diarrhea, but also Hep A. Restaurants are great since Zambia has a few immigrants of it's own. I ate at an east indian restaurant called Spice Paradise and the food was excellent. The restaurant at the Taj Pamodzi hotel has great food and service as well.

Entertainment, hmmmm well not really a lot of entertainment in the conventional sense but I'm sure it's there if you look for it.

Tours are definitely available if you like the outdoors. If you go to Zambia, you have to see the following 2 places.

First is Victoria Falls. These are the highest waterfalls in the world. You can walk all the way around and see them from different points of view. You can take a helicopter flight across and see them from the air. (highly recommended!) There's a bridge just down the river from the base of the fall that runs across the gorge from Zambia to Zimbabwe, which is on the other side of the river. If you're really daring, you can go bungee jumping off this bridge! These activities can be booked at some of the resorts along the river just upstream from the falls.

While you're there, you might consider booking a riverboat tour that goes along the Zambezi upstream from the Falls. It's not very exciting, but the view of the river at sunset is so beautiful. It's totally an african experience.

The second place you need to go is Mfuwe lodge in the Luangwa game park. This place is first rate, the food is good and the rooms are too. The whole place totally has so much character and is so authentic! No phones or TV in any of the rooms so you can have the feeling of being away from the rat race. Every day we went out on Land Rover defenders to go and look at the wildlife. Everything was there from giraffes to zebras and elephants. You can drive there from Lusaka, but I recommend flying in. It's a lot faster and easier than driving (and saves more time for your mongering while you're there).

well it seems someone else visits this part of the site as well. i got a pm with a few specific questions that i thought were definitely worth answering. since the purpose of the site is to share this kind of info, i'll post my reply here instead of privately.

one question was in regards as to how you'd select a girl. since my experience was kind of limited, all i can say is to wait in front of the hotel. if you like the way one of them looks, pick her. otherwise you should wait until a better one walks by. it's possible that one of the girls standing around might be willing to hook you up with one of her friends but i guarantee she's gonna want her cut for doing this.
another part of the same question was about how is the deal set up e.g. negociation before or after? in zambia, as in so many countries, all prices are negotiable. when you see the one you like... say mulishani, that means "how are you" or something like it. she'll probably say something that sounds like "bweeno" which means ok or fine. then you should say nishinga, this means "how much" in the local language. she'll name her price and you should reply with a counter offer of no more than $15 or 20 us or kwacha equivalent (as low as 40 thousand kwacha and no more than 100 thousand). by using some of the local words, you'll have her thinking that you know the scene and she'll be more likely to go for a better deal.

third question; how ist the gfe-factor (girfirend-alikeness) ?
it's pretty good from my experience. however, each one is different. some just want to make their cash and take off. it depends on 2 things. one is how you treat them and the second is wat they think they can get out of you. most black women here really love to have sex. due to the british colonial history (zambia used to be part of rhodesia), whites are still regarded as a socially elite class. many girls here absolutely love the idea of getting into bed with a white guy.

as for the ones i was with, i'd rate 2 of them as a gfe. the third one was a hard-core pro that i met at the mcginty's bar at the holiday inn. she wanted "100 peen" (about $22). when we got to my room she whipped off her clothes got on the bed and lay on her back with her legs up before i could even get my pants off. all i can say about her is, very businesslike. not a sound while we were doing it, didnt want her pics taken and would do absolutely nothing without a condom (fine by me).

don't ever even think of doing anything without protection though. the girl may seem really nice, but the hiv rate here is at least 20% of the general population over 15 years old.

the girl who's pics i posted was the best. great attitude, clean, young, enthusiastic. everything a guy could ever hope for. i would put her in the top 1% of any girl anywhere. you will have to look for a long time to find one like her but it is possible.

the last question was asking about "going out to some landside-village and select some fresh meat from there ? or would that be unrealistic to get a gf-alike from there?"

well, all i can say is that i passed through a couple of those villages. i was told that sex is available for the lowest prices imaginable. you could stop at one of the places where the villagers sell vegetables by the roadside and ask if you can meet a girl. i never tried it! the question in my mind was; where would we do it? do you want to be in some village somewhere with money in your pocket, surrounded by dirt poor africans to whom you are a total stranger? even if you went with a couple of your friends, it would be you and them amongst an entire village.

the second thing is that the hiv rate in these villages is very high. these people are usually very uneducated. many of them don't believe in hiv. think about it, you have no medical knowledge at all and some white person is telling you the reason you're sick is because of someone you had sex with 6 or 7 years ago. many of them actually believe it's witchcraft.

i guess it would be fun to tear through a couple of villages, screwing every girl in sight for practically no money at all. but, i just dont think it's very realistic, or very safe.

well, i'm back from my trip to zambia so i guess it's time to post another report. i'm hoping this report will help fill out the section a bit for this country since there have been so few posts so far.

the first thing everyone should know is that they put the bite on you for $25 us at the airport before they even let you through. there's no atm or visa/mastercard or anything there so the best thing is just to have it ready before you arrive. the airport is a little ways outside of lusaka so you'll need aome transportation to get to town. cabs are easy to spot because every single one of them is bright blue. i had some friends pick me up, but i think if you pay more than a couple of bucks for a ride to town, you're getting ripped off. in local currency, about fifty thousand kwacha should be the upper limit for a ride. that equals a bit less than 10 bucks at the current exchange rate.

there are different places that you can stay at while you're in town. for myself, i prefer to stay at a decent hotel. the 3 best ones are the holiday inn, the intercontinental and the taj pamodzi. i personally think the taj is the best place to stay. it's about $120 an night, the rooms are excellent and the food is first rate. they have a pool, a gym (so-so equipment) and the place is just beautiful.

now about the girl situation. there's every level of girl to choose from. if you want to go low-ball and get the most lays per dollar you should go out to the countryside. i am told that many of the villages by the highway have women that service the truck drivers who pass by on their way up from south africa. these are the skankiest looking women though. the hiv rate in these villages is pretty high too. however, if you want a lot for a little, these women can be had for the equivalent of about $2 a bang.

next up are the streetwalkers in the city. i've seen a few nice ones walking around. the best ones tend to be in the 18 to 22 year old range. prices are negotiable but usually between 30 to 60 thousand kwacha should do it. if you're crazy enough, many of them will let you do it bareback for a litlle extra. any cab driver can direct you to the right part of town to find them. or i should say, the wrong part of town. this is because downtown lusaka is not a safe place for westerners. there are lots of unsavoury characters hanging around there looking to make some easy money off a stranger. i was told a story of one guy who picked up a girl in his car and drove off to a spot to have his fun. two guys approached and the girl he picked up opened the door for them so that they could rob the poor guy. i've also been warned that thieves will just follow you around until they get a chance to rob you. this doesnt take very long since the only thing the police are interested in is making money off of speed traps. therefore, street action should be off the menu for all but the bravest or most foolhardy mongers.

the best way to get a girl in lusaka is to just let them find you! at night, they come out around 8 pm or so. if you hang out near the street in front of any of the better hotels that i mentioned, you will see them walking around. just look for girls wearing short skirts, tight pants and a lot of makeup. they usually like to smoke a cigarette too. apparently this is a sure sign of a prostitute is zambia. these ones can be had for 50 to 80 thousand kwacha, which comes out to around 15 to 20 bucks. not a bad deal for some good looking women.

the hotels are no problem either. even the good ones will let you walk by with your girl. at the holiday inn, there's a bar called mcginty's attached to the hotel. sometimes you can even find some girls in there. just look for the same signs, makeup, clothing and cigarette.

the holiday inn is on church road just off of independance avenue. the taj pamodzi is one block north from the holiday inn. it's also on church road.

to sum everything up, i'd say zambia isn't really worth going to as a sex-destination. however, if you're there for whatever reason and you like black girls , the situation is pretty good!

Places to go and meet girls are :

Alpha Bar A 'youth club' with a bar, just full of young girls 18 -23 years. In the Northmead shopping area.

Charisma Hotel 24hour bar Wednesday, Friday or Saturday night the best times but generally someone round every night.

Smugglers Rest used to be call the London Bus.. Good for football nights

By the way, the guy who was caught having a Bj in his car was a one off and didn't spend long in jail. Basic rules apply as they do in any country, if you do it in the street they will object. And why when a cheap hotel cost less than $10

I stayed in Zambia for 2 weeks back in March (2004). I just read the posting from "Report by Email". I have to disagree with almost everything he said. I stayed at the Holiday Inn just off of Independance Ave. in the nice part of town by the embassy district. It was clean, well maintained and the service was up to the same standards as any Holiday Inn in the States. The only thing I could complain about was that the water in the swimming pool was way too cold.

I stayed in Zambia for about 2 weeks. The local currency is called Kwacha. The exchange rate is about 4000 Kwacha for one US dollar. Prices for things such as food and drinks arent too bad there. Zambia seems to have a pretty good standard of living by African standards. The exception would be out in the countryside. If you drive down the highway, you can see the typical grass hut villages just off the road.

The country has some attractions (besides hot black women). There's some really good game parks with lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras and just about every other kind of animal. In the southern part of the country you can go to Livingstone and see Victoria falls. You get a way better view from the Zambian side of the falls ( as opposed to the Zimbabwe side).

Most people here speak at least a little english. They learn it in school and many use it to communicate with each other since there's several tribal languages here. The main one is called Bemba. Since it's a former Brithish colony, they drive on the other side of the road. I managed to get used to it after a couple of days.

Women are easy to get here. I personally saw dumpy looking ex-pat guys in their 40's going out with the hottest young black girls. You don't have to work hard to meet a girl here. Just stay at a hotel and they come hang out there after it gets dark. For a small price (3 bucks) any cab driver can help you find what you're looking for. Prices for girls are negotiable. You can find a nice one for about 15 to 20$. Most hotels are girl-friendly so no problems there either. Zambians, like most african women, make excellent bed-partners. They just genuinely seem to enjoy a good session. They can take everything you can give them. It goes without saying that wearing a condom is an absolute must. You could pay enough extra to convince the girl to let you go bareback if you were straight-up crazy enough to try it that way.

MAJOR note of caution, Zambia has one of the highest rate of HIV infection anywhere. I was told that it's been going down in the last few years. Down (if you can believe it) to 20-25%. It used to be almost 30%. The main reason it's gotten lower is that most of the poeple that were infected have been dying off at such a high rate compared to the occurence of new infections. Don't bother thinking that you'll be safe going after younger girls either. There's a high rate of infection all the way down to early teenage years. As if HIV wasn't enough, there's also TB and malaria. At least you can buy some anti-malarial pills at a local pharmacy for a couple of dollars (cheap!). You want to start taking one the first day you get there, for prevention.

I'm going back there for a couple more weeks and am hoping to have some pics for posting.

I travelled to Zambia on a regular Basis in 1996 and 1997. I stayed more than 10 times at the Intercontinental and there never were any problems with the electricity, the lifts or anything similar.

The number of pros in the bar was rather small by then but I had some extremely good sex with girls that I met through Job contacts or on more "normal" occasions. And none of them considered blow-jobs to be un-natural.

I still think if you have some more time to stay in Zambia it can really be an enjoyable stay.

By accident i had to spend a night in Lusaka, our plane was late getting in and we missed the connection to Malawi, we were taken to the Intercontinental hotel , multi storey type, no lifts working, no showers, water problem, no toilet rolls, no bogs, when the sun-light went, just darkness.

Down in the bar 40-50 pros all sitting by candle light, congolese, zambian, zimbabwean, morzambique, you name it they were there. My friend took one to his room and she settled for a pair of semi worn denim jeans!!! he had no ready cash just travellers cheques, plus zambian money is useless and we were just transit and he did not want to change money. He had no problem getting her to his room , more problem getting rid of her!!!.

Next morning we bid farewell the hell hole of lusaka. point of interest in 02 a german guy got 4 years for having a blow job in the bushes, the judge aid it was an un-natural act??. I would say he will die as all convicts are hiv and aids and gang bangs are the norm , so his white bum would not last long inside before being hammered. Just thought i would warn anyone going to zambia what the consequences can be. do yourself a favour dont go near the place.
