    Ols Pro

[QUOTE=Old Pro; 1187300]I live in Gaborone part of the time. I was last there 5 wks ago. I had also heard that George's Bar had closed but when I went there is was open and busy. Spent a lot of time in Bull & Bush and it was as well run as ever. Didn't look like there had been any changes. Not sure about Fashion Lounge. Think it burned down. Or was that Lizard Lounge? Not keen on either place.

The Tavern (Nyere Drive) is the place to go if you want to guarantee finding a pro. There are always a few chics inside (dozens when a band or the karaoke is on) and loads more hanging around the car parks outside. For non-pros / semi pros go to O'Hagans on a Fri / Sat night or when a band is on. Also try the disco in Gaborone West Phase One. Avoid it at "month end" (pay day) because everyone is blind drunk and the atmosphere is a bit tense, plus all the thugs are out to steal pay packets. Chez Ntemba out on the Molepolole is also good but again avoid month end and watch out for thugs.

Thanks for this. Very interesting and useful. I remember the Tavern and it was interesting to drive in the car park sometimes, they surrounded you. ]

If you are only there for a couple of days and staying in a hotel I wouldn't really bother picking up pros in bars. The best strategy would be to make eye contact with an attractive lady during the day (out shopping or wherever). Then smile. Say Hello. Ask a question (like directions or something) then say "you are really friendly and look really hot, could I have your number so I can ask you out on a date?". Take her for a meal or drinks in your hotel. Job done. It really is quite a promiscuous society. Residents like me can't do this because it is such a small town we would be spotted out on a date and our girlfriends would find out. So instead we have to go to one of these bars to find discreet pros.

    Gaborone Hotel

Next to the central bus station is the Gaborone Hotel, used to be also Cresta, but now run by an Indian. It is basic, costs only P 425 / night (USD 60) and is in the middle of the action. Many think that the general area is unsafe, but during the day there are lots of people and at night you wouldn't walk around on the streets anyway, so also not there. I feel safe. Next to the hotel is the railway foot bridge where thousands of people pass each day. Just stand on the sidewalk and smile at the sweeties coming by. Exchange numbers and shortly after you can have them in the sack. Girls are P 200 for the night, friendly and in for a lot. Some do oral, some don't. The ones I had were noisy, but made me a happy boy. You can bang them as often as you can manage. The hotel 200% girl friendly. There are rooms with twin beds and with double so take your pick. I will post pictures later.

    Big Mammas

I went to Botswana once on business with my company (an IT consultancy). We were giving product demonstrations at some fairly high level corporate offices in downtown.

I'm a young guy (mid 20's) , good looking (don't mean to brag) , and the response from the local ladies was outrageous. I literally couldn't pop out to he shops without getting hit on, never mind by the clients secretaries and basically females everyone we went.

I'm not into go-go bars or pick up joints, I don't think I've reached that age (no offense to those who frequent such establishments).

Well, to cut a long story of many encounters and propositions short, I ended up knocking the back out of a large plump, huge breasted and big round ass personal assistant of one of the senior managers working for our client in her own house later that evening (after she tracked me down to my hotel room and came to pick me up, using the company driver)

Absolutely wild sex, possibly the best I've ever had, (safe of course). It was my first trip to Africa and has left me absolutely hooked.

THats my 2 cents for the younger guys who might be offered work opportunities there, go for it, you won't regret it!

    Botswana. Francistown

Not much action on the Bots thread so I'll add my 2 cents. Francistown is worth a stopover if not a sidetrip. Big shopping mall off the main street. Walk up to anyone and ask a question."Where can I get a SIM" or "Where is a good internet cafe" and you will likely be brought on a tour of the town. By the time your business is done you will have a new friend. Really extra friendly people.

Driving out of town one night I saw two stunners. 18-20ish hitchhiking. I pulled over and they got in. On their way to a going away for one of their teachers they said. I tool them exactly where they needed to go, chatting away especially with the girl sitting up front. I dropped them in a school parking lot and they walked away smiling and conversing. As I put the car into gear to take off the back seat girl turned and started running toward me with her hand out. I stopped to see what she wanted. She asked me if I would like to see her later. We exchanged numbers and ran back to her friend. About 5 minutes later I received a text asking if I would pick her up in one hour at the school.

Sure thing! I killed some time and went back for her. Straight to my hotel. Cresta Marang sp? Hotel is good in that you can stay in independent cabins. No one to check up on you although I suspect, like most places in Bots, the place is GF. Great night. Slow slow CBJ although bbj was on the menu. Doggie and mish to follow, then repeat a few hours later. Stayed all morning and then didn't want to leave. Didn't want to take any money which was a nice touch. I tucked some bills into her purse when she went to powder her nose.

Advice pay off though I over paid

Thanks to all those who provided tips and advise. I followed the tip of just sitting checking out the bar for interest. I was making my way there and found one immediately. I overpaid (500 BP rather than 250) but won part of it gambling in the casino so I am ok with it but will make a note to haggle much more (though I don't like haggling it is something that must be done). The hotel I am staying in (Grand Palm) is as girl friendly as advertised. That said I got most of what I paid for (though no greek) and she had a great attitude. Afterwards she pulled the monopolize card (telling me how dangerous all the other girls were outside of herself). I went along with it (collected her number and mentioning I might call her tomorrow) seeing as tomorrow will be my last night here. I may look around tomorrow night but hotel pick-ups tend to stretch the pocket book. I may try one of the regular girls before I get back to Harare were will get tested (though I used protection still have to be sure). That said I am here mainly for business so night pick ups might be a lot harder (don't have own transport) but I am thinking of using the casino as a start off point.
The girls name was Tina. If I do call her it will be at less than half price which may depend on how busy she is and her availablity. Anyway thanks again to those who posted in the forum

Good tip Amha - I've had more quality shags thru Afro than the rest of the contact/dating sites put together

Keeping in mind for future reference

    Thanks Amh for the reply.

That sounds like an idea but it doesn't help me now plus I am skeptical of dating sites especially since most ask you to upgrade in order to do most anything.

That said I am interested to hear from other members about how that strategy works as I am still new to the scene on this side of the ocean. If it is a widely endorsed practice then I am fair game but sounds hit or miss to me especially since internet is not as reliable as some other places.

    So arrived in Grand Palm

Admit to being gun shy but does seem like much around (though it is a sunday night). Unfortunately will be here for only 2 days. Any tips on the best times for hunting or do you have to head out of the hotel.

I have been to Gabs a few times now but have never actually done more than the odd flirt as I am with my wife. Reading this guide there are obviously other places in Africa to go that have more action and that sometimes leaves the impression that there is nothing happening here. I disagree. Just returned this week and can confirm that in the daytime it is abit dead in my opinion but at night there is plenty of girls of different quality around.

At the Grand Palm there were a few girls at the bar - a couple of nice ones but the other guests there get pretty snooty about them. Also a couple in the casino. The Tavern had plenty inside but quality was not good. Outside one night there were loads in groups of 4-5 in the parking area and out on the road too. However I think this must happen later on as the other time I was there from around 11 - midnight and they werre not there.

At the Sun Hotel and casino there was no action this time - they have moved the entry pay area for the casino to include the bar now so that probably puts off the girls.

The Bull and Bush had the usual suspects even a few in daytime and Sunday night so still a good place to go.

Only went to Geroges in the day and nothing much then but regulars told me still plenty of action from 7.00pm onwards.

O'Hagans was great - pretty and flirtatious waitresses (they are not salaried but are on commission and tips so will try to get you to stay and tip them) and also saw quite a few good lookers who would give you a look and a smile.

Also for the first time had the chance to put to test the old theory that you do not need to look for a pro - something I was a bit sceptical about. However twice without trying to hard I had success with one sending a friend over to offer me her number after a brief flirt and another dropping unsubtle hints about meeting again after she initially starting the conversation - both stunners about half my age. Wished I was single at that moment.

I love this city and would recommend it - it's hassle free, lots of nice girls, and not expensive compared to the UK. Getting around can be a problem as not too many taxis but I guess it would be easy to get one for your time there and stick with them. I have a car while I am there and it usually takes me all my time to figure it out.

    Girl friendly spots

I will be in Gaborone in November stay for a short while. Any wild child I can look up?. I will be staying at the Grand Palm Hotel (is it girl friendly?). I have had some luck in SA (JHB) not so much in Zim.

I found that the menu at George's Tavern actually is quite decent. A few expats go there for lunch.

Pulled a WG from there one night. Had stayed till closing time and it was impossible to get a cab so the bartender drove us to the hotel. Had been attracted by the size of the rack, but had forgotten that huge African boobs often are kind of 'evasive', like liquid in you hands.

Seems that you are expected to have a sexual network, though, in Botswana.
