You deserve it to be taken for a ride. If you had read the very helpful reports from other members you should know that:

1 - Its a french speaking country. Non French speaking travellers will get scammed. And I don't pity them! Fxxk off.

2 - Its a third world country. What the heck you need chromebook there.

    - Show proof of negative PCR-test on steps from aircraft.

    - Disinfection station, where you get sprayed by something inside a special made cubicle.

    - Passport control.

    - Visa on arrival, costs 35 and you must have cash.

    - Queue to pay for PCR Covid test.

    - Wait in line to take PCR Covid test.
Thank you for your detailed report. I don't know if I would do that to myself at the moment, and you can only move in NB, right?

In any case, I'll wait until all of Mada is open, which will take even longer.

And filling out what seems to be a gazillion different forms (or virtually identical) for each of the above. As well as being shouted at by border police for not having written down phone number to hotel on the side of a paper which says nothing about phone number.

The above things overall where manageable. Luckily I had exactly 35 in cash with me (left over from a trip to Germany). Not sure what would have happened if I was without cash. There is no way to get cash at the airport. This lead to some serious problems when I needed to pay 100 k Airary for the Covid test. A very helpful, English speaking, security guard promptly found me a taxi driver who fronted me the 100 k. At this time the lines where very very long for both paying for the test and getting tested. Luckily my friendly security guard promptly brought me to the front of the lines. As "reward" I gave him the only cash I had on me, a Swedish 200 bill (just under 20) which I hope he can convert for his troubles.

When I arrived at the hotel they tried to pull a fast one on me. I got a room with no sea view and no TV, even though those things where clearly stated on by booking. Fortunately I had print outs (in French and English) of my booking and they gave me another room which is up to the specifications. One annoying thing is that the safe has a key not a code, which means I have to find a safe place to hide the key when I have a girl in my room overnight. Breakfast is supposed to be included, but since the hotel doesn't have a restaurant I'm not sure how they will arrange that.

As a mixed blessing there was an English speaking local guy sitting outside the hotel when I arrived. This guide has helped me with some stuff, including finder a spinner with an average looking friend for company. He's been asking a bit much for his services though.

And now for what everyone has been waiting for. The girls. My guide asked me what kind of girls I like. I told him "slim, firm tits, NOT a big ass". Shortly after he had produced a 20-25 year old spinner named Vanessa (I hope it's ok to put first name here, since there are no pics and I'm guessing she's not the only one in Nosy calling herself Vanessa). She had with her an average looking friend. I promptly brought them to my room for some fun Vanessa has a killer body and was very enthusiastic with a decent BBBJ, some tentative rimming. Ass only available for fingering, but I'm working on that. Her friend was disinterested with semi-sagging tits and a wide booty, not at all to my liking. Sadly none of the girls speak any English.

After my tumble with the girls we went out drinking together with the guide. Vanessa was really affectionate and smiling. I called it an early night (before 10) a brought Vanessa back to my room for the night. Her pouty, boring, average-looking friend I left behind. Today we slept in and at the moment Vanessa is away at the hair dresser. It seems it can be a good girlfriend experience for me, if I choose to keep her around.

I have not yet attained my Malagasy SIM. But when I have that I will get the contact information from my guide. If anyone wants to know how to contact him, send me a PM and I'll provide the information.

    Advice and pointers:

    Bring cash.

    - At airport you have to pay for Visa (35) and Covid PCR test (100 k Airary). And there is NO way to get cash at airport.

    ATM: s in Ambatoaloka.

    - ATM next to big pharmacy does not accept MasterCard, only VISA.

    - ATM across from Ambatoaloka hotel accepts both cards.

And finally I am really annoyed that my new Chromebook doesn't have a delete key, I have to press alt+backspace for delete. Not as horrible as Lenovo moving the ctrl-button, but still extremely annoying.
Thanks Stargazer for yr very helpful report. Keep on the good work and if possible photos, girls' but also views.

    Little update

Saw a video today, very reliable.

It was said that Mada is going a good way back to normal. All across the country there were not abnormal numbers of funerals observed. In a country were it is a big thing. The fast majority being rather jung, the society did not get hit hard.

According to scientists it was also said that 40 % had it. Domestic flights slowly on the increase, travel-restrictions on mainland get lifted.

Masks are still mandatory but almost nobody wears them anymore.

    Sounds promising!

You need about 70% for herd immunity and if you want to achieve that the rest is dead.

Forget that, you can only reach it with the vaccine but unfortunately mada does not have this priority as do other African countries.

The north is buying up the market, China will probably serve this market with even more influence in the region. Sad!

Firstly you need two vaccinations; second is the rollout still poor, third, while not clear whether you can be contagious, despite vaccination, it will be difficult.

Stay back home. Leave that rotten island to "les legionnaires..
I will add a small detail, bubonic plague kills you after several days, so you can have some time to reach a good medical place for treatment, but there is also in mada the pneumonic plague.

This one kills you in 24 to 72 hours, si knowing the difficulty to travel inside mada, it's a bit more difficult to stay alive.

    Nice country.
