Tried 2 different ones this past month.

If you want to do something like that. You need to speak French. Sure you can do it and do whatever you want, but your experience will not be the same. You can rent old but good Honda Africa Twin's 650 cc for 50- EU / day from Tana or 250 cc extreme Cross bikes in Tulear for 80-EU / day. For both you need to be well experienced riding in deep sand. If you lack that skills, rent a Quad. But it will not bring you over a distance: gas consumption 8 l / 100 km with a 12 l gas-tank only.

You can buy Chinese scooters all over Tana. But they won't last the road to Morombe. And once bought. Hard to sell.
