It seems there are conflicting information about withdrawing cash in ATMs. I also got the impression that having some uros would be a good idea. I'm thinking about bringing 500 in 10 notes for easy transactions and having a cash "reserve" if the need arises.
I'd appreciate any advice on picking up (working) girls apart from the hardcore crew from Taxi Be. Like many others I prefer slim girls in their 20's. Going rate for short time seems to be 20-30k and overnight / long time rate 40-50k?

Change euros into Malagasy ariary immediately as that's all your solid finances you'll be using. Unless you're staying at a French hotel where the proprietor insists on Euros only, they're not needed.

With your non-hardcore girlfriends at home, how do you get them to give you your rimjobs? Women are the same the world over. Malagasy girls may be impoverished, sometimes to the point of desperation, but they are human beings with self-respect and it is a conservative culture so if you come with expectations of being able to exploit them to you heart's content you may end up being disappointed in your little fun holiday despite your solid finances.

All major places have a ATM. Accepting debit and credit cards. I was in the rather small Manakara the had several to. I did not bother about the commission since it was my cheapest fun vacation anyway. I would propose, stay away from large amount of cash for security reasons. Store the cards in different places. Most of the girls try to serve you in all manners without asking for to make you happy.

The best place to be right now is Brazil. The exchange rate has created the most value in decades: for hotels, restaurants, girls, for everything it's beyond so cheap. Weather in Rio absolutely glorious at the moment. It takes one plane ride to arrive from most major places and unlike Nosy Be, you're not stuck on one little island. There are no restrictions and it feels much more laid back than the USA in terms of covid. At 90 days visa free, I could easily spend the entire winter here.

My trip is kinda short and I don't want to travel around a lot in any country during Covid, I think a smaller place is better this time. When I do go to Brazil I want to stay for at least three weeks and travel around a bit.

I have booked flight and hotel in Nosy be for Christmas and New Years week and I'm sure I'll have a good time. Bad weather only means more time to spend in room with girls.

Having re-read all forum posts on Mada from this year (I have read everything from 2018 and onwards earlier) there are only a few things I wonder about.

Wow sounds like a place Neddy would approve of haha. Does that apply to Rio and SP or just the second-tier cities and beyond? Have you ever ventured south into the predominantly white cities? How is the scene there if so?

Been in SP for over 2 months now. Seldom had it so good in terms of sex, food, accommodation and mobility. Would extend my 3 months here if I could. Hell, I would settle here without looking back if they had a tax-free package for foreign pensioners like Peru and Chile have.

I think Rio would still rate as a predominantly white city, far less black skin there than in the streets of say Paris, London or Brussels. Brazil = big white nation except on carnival footage. Look at Brazil's national soccer team, how many blacks do you see? Look at France's. The Brazil soccer team pic below is about as "black" as it can get in a clinica line-up in SP, don't know about Rio. Note that the best asses I've seen in Brazil were often on caucasian type girls.

Don't forget to pack your rubber boots and a small inflatable boat. The roads turn to rivers now. There is no such a thing as a non girlfriendly hotel in Madagascar. Except for a missionary hostel. In fact you'll be asked by the concerned receptionist why you do NOT have a bedwarmer for the night.

My suggestion is. Postpone your trip for a year. Learn some french and read about fady.

This trip is to celebrate my 50th birthday and I have been planning to go outside of SE Asia and Europe, where I usually travel. I have been pretty much locked up in my apartment, working from home, since the start of the Covid outbreak. Since Nosy Be is one of the few places where I can travel without restrictions (that's not cold, doesn't require 3+ changes of planes and has cheap and easily accessible p*ssy) I will go over the Christmas "break". I have solid finances and I could easily afford a handful of mongering trips each year. My only real issue is getting time off work.

I think I am allowed to travel to Nosy Be from Sweden (I can book flight with Air Ethiopia changing flights in Addis Abbeba). It seems to require a negative PCR test no older then 72 hours.

I also have a question about hotels. I have made a preliminary booking at hotel Kokoloko, which looked like a step up from Ambatoloaka, but I would like a confirmation that it is a guest friendly hotel.

Also, I have finally registered a Bitcoinwallet and I just made the membership deposit in support of this great community.

I think I am allowed to travel to Nosy Be from Sweden (I can book flight with Air Ethiopia changing flights in Addis Abbeba). It seems to require a negative PCR test no older then 72 hours.

I also have a question about hotels. I have made a preliminary booking at hotel Kokoloko, which looked like a step up from Ambatoloaka, but I would like a confirmation that it is a guest friendly hotel.

Reopening maybe possible very soon and not only Nosy Be.
