But we are not here to discuss social injustice or climate change. There are other channels do do that. Any solution to those inequalities will involve both governmental change and societal reform. Yes you are right vohemar was a stop for few nights to split the route to sambava and later on for antalaha. Vohemar- sambava 150 km trip with taxibrouss takes around 5 or 5 hours and a half the as they make many stops to droping and picking up people. Ths road was not so bad not so good just normal. So if someone plan take ambilobe-sambava route direct its will be around 10 hours with taxi brouss.

Nice to see the roads being fixed up but what is the attraction to Vohemar? It looks like a small place in the middle of nowhere.

Take taxibrouss for 30 k today from ambilobe to vohemar. The route 70 percent is tarmac wide and nice best road I seen in mada another 25 percent road is untarmac yet but its flat and not bad. And probably 5 percent of the road was not so good. So in total from ambilobe to vohemar takes around 4 and half hour. I guess in 4-6 month its will be completely finish as roadworks still going.
