I have difficult time figuring out your "style'. You don't care about the cost of the extension (although many of us do and it is valuable info) and you are obviously spending thousands and thousands of dollars in airfare to jet around to all of these mongering locations. Yet on the other hand you stay in the cheapest of accommodations to the point where you have to go outside to get WiFi, and you want your pussy for free. How do you reconcile the apparently opposite traits in the same person, IE. You? Seems kind of odd.

As I have said I took a photo at the immigration counter at NosyBe. Unfortunately the desk was to high so the photo crop the price.

But you can see they referring to police extension. Also look for the year 2019.

The only drawback I forsee is security, as having a few girls in your villa will generate jealousy and attract boyfriends, pimps and wanderers so I would recommend you hire extra security, use a safe.

And make it really clear that only your guests are welcomed and that they should be monitored. Usually when you bring a girl in an hotel they collect her ID just in case of (and to make sure they are not.

It may be a good idea to do so with your guests.

In Nosy Be, you will find plenty of luxurious villas but the girls are quite hardcore pros so it would be quite risky not to be mainstream. Tulear may be a safer place to open your private plaboy mansion.

Wherever you go, I am eager to get a full debrief of this quite innovative experience.

Its not innovative. Its dumb and shows that you have no clue about Madagascar.

I recommend you bring a lot of cash to make sure you're getting robbed and possibly killed by the " additional" security.

As for security in Tulear. Look at the kind of walls the rich indian traders the Karane have erected. These houses are fortresses with 2 outer perimeter walls at least 8 meters high. Last year more than 19 rich karane have been abducted. They bring their family members to safety to France or Reunion.

Madagascar is not a place to play high roller. In case you missed it, its one of the poorest countries on the planet. You attract all kinds of goons and be sure you going to be relieved of your cash and of your life in no time. And the police will also be happy to assist you for a fee.

I don't know I got my 60 days for 40 euro, I was interested only to know if 90 days possible at airport or not.

For me price is irrelevant. Once they said its possible I was happy.

I would start by thanking all for valuable information which I have gathered from close to 60 pages of Madagascar topic.

I have always wanted to visit Madagascar, it's been one of these exotic places to go and enjoy what they have to offer. Now, it seems that it will be my destination for September, done e-visa already, haven't booked flights. I have done Africa before, so not completely beginner about it.

Being millennial, my mongering style is different, I do not like average hostel / bungalow and do quick encounters 3 times a day with different chicas.

I don't know. This is the guy who thought Nosy Be had an inadequate supply of pussy and the scene was too small. I am not sure he will be blown away by Toliara, which is a lot quieter and more spread out than Nosy Be.

Serena Hotel in on Boulevard Philibert Tsiranana. It's not an alley but a road. It's not lighted all along but not dangerous to walk at night. You won't find taxis easily at night. You will have to use pousse pousse. I did not use the pousse pousse but walk all along. There are always people walking along this road even at night. No need to worry.

Still have one question regarding Tulear. I was wondering if there are taxis at night at the nightlife hotspot close to the shore? Many reports about taking a pousse pousse or just walking but no taxis apparently. I would choose Hotel Serena but it is about 500 m along a dark alley form the sea side. Hotel Amazone is right on the nightlife hotspot but has poorer reviews. That would be my second choice and only for security reasons.

What I did when I was hotel Serena, is either to walk or take puspus, I never felt unsafe there.

Distance is short and street quite well enlighted, except a small part along some bars. One girl told me that there was robbers in these bars so I avoid to walk on their side too close, but nothing happened.

Or I was lucky, or its quite safe there, and I think its the second option.

Far different from tana.

Ya I either walked or took pousse pousse. Almost no taxi anway only pousse pousse. I think its quite safe if you stay close to the night spots. Either stay at Sud Plazza or Central. Beautiful old colonial hotel with big rooms and big balcony. A bit run down and test the matresses. Just go out with enough money for a couple of beers and a cheap phone. And be aware of your surroundings and don't get completely pissed you be good. The bad guys are more after inside jobs. Like bar owners known to have cash on them when they close down. You'll love it. Late night and on the hot afternoons its a ghost town.

I was in the area just a couple of nights ago and I never saw one taxi. There are very few here. You could arrange one every night but it would be expensive if you wanted the guy on call all night. I walked down that stretch around 9 PM and while it is dark it does not seem dangerous. Lots of people and pousse pousse about even later. 500 metre walk back to Serena a piece of [CodeWord140]. Also if you stay there you are right down the street from Pokeris' favourite disco. I found that on weeknights it doesn't get going till a bit later. At 9 PM on a Wednesday it was absolutely empty but shortly after people started to show up. I have a terrible cold that kept me in yesterday and still feel like shit but I intend to go check it out on a Sunday tomorrow.

I bought a ticket Paris - Reunion island - Tulear for next October with Air Austral. Outbound will be quit long with a 6 hour layover in Reunion and another short layover at Fort Dauphin.

Inbound will be much faster with a direct flight Tulear - Reunion and short layover in Reunion.

I found lots of intel on this forum thanks to you all. Still have one question regarding Tulear.
