Observations.

1. Definitely recommend eating at Tsy Manin and not at Zeburger.

2. Tatie Chris is off the chain. And the music is really good.

3. Badoo and Tinder don't work well for Nosy be. Neither make it easy to search for girls here on the island. Badoo thinks Ambatalaoka is somewhere in the middle of Madagascar. Likewise I'm not finding nearly as many Facebook girls here as I do in Tamatave, Tana, and Mahajunga.

4. I've only been to taxi be very early and very late. But the girls seemed pretty hard and a bit older than I like.

5. Small sample size, but the Malagasy girls I've been with so far had exceptionally tight pussies. Tighter than anything I found in Latin America and above average for anything I've found in Thailand or the Philippines.

6. Price. It's not, in fact, the cheapest place in the world. The Ariary is about on par with the Colombian peso. In Santa Fe, I've banged plenty of girls for 35,000 pesos..

Your impressions remind me of how I felt the first time I visited. Tatie Chris is the main event where the selection is big. Collect as many numbers as possible while you are there, you will need when. On Saturdays the selection is also good at Afro Bar as girls from Hell-Ville with regular jobs will try to get some extra money. They usually line up outside on the street, this is in high season have no idea about the low season. In the week it is the same old faces in the bars, quickly gets boring. One week is fine, after 2 weeks I just want to go home as the selection is too limited.

And take into account that I am diving 2 times per day also while I am there.

Now that I'm a bit better informed, let me ask some questions:

1. During the week, where is the best place to find pretty 18-22 year old girls? I haven't seen a huge concentration and I've been disappointed in Taxi Be.

2. Is there a best time to patrol the beach for girls?

3. Has anybody found success with dating apps in Nosy Be?

4. Are there any nightlife spots in Hellville that I should check out?

5. Among the boats, there are some really nice yachts. Where were they made? How did they get here?

First 2 nights in Nose Be.

I have a beautiful Airbnb right on the beach and a short walk to Tati Chris. Sunday night, that's where I went. I went fairly early and found a cute 18 year old. We had some fun at my room. Then I sent her on her way and ate dinner at chez senga. I was a little apprehensive about the food quality so I simply ordered pesto pasta. It was surprisingly good.

Then I went back to Tatie Chris and got another cute 21 year old from Mahajunga with a perfect, innocent face and a brilliant smile. I got her back to the room. I've never seen a girl with big boobs who also had big, puffy areolas. They were fantastic to suck on. She was hesitant to give me a BJ. But the sex was amazing.

Monday, I let the day get away from me. I went into Hellville for lunch at Papillon. I had a really good Zebu burger. I then went back for an afternoon swim. I was swamped with work so I was stuck inside for most of the evening. I grabbed dinner at Zeburger. Despite the many positive reviews, I would not recommend it. I specifically asked for my burger well-done because I'm paranoid of food poisoning. The first patty was a little undercooked but otherwise tasted fine. A few bites into the second patty, I tasted something odd. I don't know what it was. But I spit it out and stopped eating. I'm not going back.

This morning, I went out at 10 and walked over to Tsy Manin restaurant. I was disappointed they didn't have a breakfast menu. But I was in for a surprise. The chef, Alex, asked me what I wanted to eat. I explained what I like and he suggested chicken Milanese. He told me to come back at noon. After a nice swim, I went back for lunch. It was the probably the best meal I've ever had in a 3rd world country. I plan to go back as often as I can.

A question for the regulars of this great thread about this very special country. I'm a Spaniard who has traveled a little through Africa (5 or 6 trips to Uganda, I lost count, Rwanda, Kenya, Namibia, Ghana, Togo, Senegal, Gambia and Guinea Bissau), always on my own, improvising, to areas a little hidden, fleeing from where the European "white brother" steps. Many trips also through very different areas of America and Asia.

I've been to Madagascar for the first time this March (only 2 weeks, Tana and Tamatave), and I'm going to return next June, now flying from Madrid to Nosy Be and I want to visit some other area until Diego Surez.

The question is about police corruption, I experienced it firsthand, they stopped me several times while going in a taxi in Tananarivo, and I had not read that you've to carry your passport with you (the website of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns, but they usually do so with warnings very catastrophic). 3 times I showed a Spanish ID and they only asked me for money for a beer LOL and I didn't give anything, but one time a police couple became aggressive and told me to get out of the car as they were arresting me for not having my passport.

Finally they didn't arrest me, but it was the last night and 1 am. And they were very aggressive to get me out of the taxi and take me into custody, it was not pleasant at all.

Does anyone know what can happen if the police stop us for not having our passport and they don't accept the bribe? What are we facing in that police station at dawn? The 10,000 ariaris (2) that at Neddy69 mentions, this corrupt police did not want that money, I've seen that they are not always going to accept, I think some expect much more money. In Tana I saw many police checks at night, there must be foreigners who will give them X amount of money, the more the bastards give the more money the fucking corrupt cops will expect.

Another question, in order not to always have to party with the passport on me, should the photocopy of the passport be certified there in Madagascar, including the visa in the photocopy? Which I understand is what the corrupt police will also ask to see.

In Nosy Be I want to rent a motorcycle to get around the island. Does anyone know what can happen if the police stop me riding a motorcycle without a license? I understand that the international license is valid for cars, not for motorcycles (in Spain the car license is valid for scooters up to 125 CC, but I think that is not the case in most European countries).

Very grateful for the great contributions that some forum members altruistically share here. I hope to continue providing anecdotes and useful information and some photos, I like to write and help about places I know, but I do it in a forum in Spanish language.

After a 24 hour flight and some work complications that will interrupt my trip in the middle, I finally arrived. I stayed at Sakamanga. Which is a very nice hotel. Almost an oasis in the middle of the city. Nice hot showers, working aircon, and WiFi that enabled me to make several FaceTime calls without anybody figuring out that I was not in the US. I did a walk around. Including along Independence in the afternoon. Some beggars. No more than I've encountered in Latin America. There were some attractive girls out but none openly returned my eye contact. I went to Glassier. But the girls in there were all FUGLY. So I went back to recharge and have a late lunch / early dinner. I went back out at 8. I didn't like the taxi touts near the hotel so I kept walking until I found a guy with his own car. I asked him to take me to Taxi Be. It was 100% empty. I was the only customer there. The waitress told me that customers start coming around 10 pm. I was getting sleepy and needed some companionship so I went back to Glassier. This time it was much more crowded and I spotted a cutie (early 20's) named Adore. We agreed on 60. Back at the room, she had some serious baby damage but was sweet and knew how to move to make me blast off way faster than I wanted to. I needed my sleep so I let her go back. I thought I might go back out. But I closed my eyes and it was already 9 am.

Now I'm at the airport waiting for my trip to Nosy Be. Wish me luck.

There was only one hotel in Fianarantsoa that did have a sign on the reception: No Visitors / girl companion accepted.

In some places the girls have o deposit a ID.

That means in general you can take girls in, that's the norm. Just ask them.

Back from 3 weeks in Mada, and as promised, a report.
Nosy Be:
Stay in Ambatoloaka, it is where it all happens. Good hotels at 30/ night: Kokoloko, and Perle Rare. I do not recommend the Benjamin hotel: one night was enough. I haven't slept: rustic straw huts, bad mattress, mosquitoes, music from the bars as if the speakers were in the room, non-existent wifi, in short, the hassle. Kokoloko offers an apartment with two separate king size bedrooms: ideal for 2 travel buddies. For those with a good budget, the must is the Sarimanok.

Oh, I don't know. I used to post pics of girls without covering their faces, as did many others. But over the years it seems to have fell out of favor for this concern of anonymity. But really, the only people that see these photos are us, guys who are actively mongering. The girls don't access this site, and neither do their Malagasy boyfriends or mothers or family. I miss doing it, but it has become "frowned upon" in our community so I just don't anymore.

True! If you go back to around 2007's posts of this forum, there was plenty of pictures, without worring anonymizing faces with smileys or whatever.

It seems that social networks has changed the world, and how privacy became a concern.

Don't think that pictures posted here are safe for the girls! This forum is followed by people living on site, hotels and restaurants tenants, and even police or tourism politics I believe.

Mada is a small world where everybody know everybody. Even more in small towns like Tamatave or Tulear!
