You get driven to your hotel by a driver moste likely from the hotel you have booked and payed bevor and all you have to let the authorities know. Thats the way they tell you to do .

PCR test is no Issue since at that point you already had on done negativ at home .

To get to this approved hotel from the list you also need approved transport. You can't just go and take a any taxi.

You can only allowed to land in Tana! And not Nosy and you must come from a "green" country and from only 3 airports. Before you fly you need to book a specific hotel from government list.

Mada delays
A couple of possible reasons. The are making it up as they go and that will necessitate delays as they try to figure things out and change what is not working, OR they have a plan, but it not going to plan! Either way it is not surprising.

Nothing about it and the entry requirements. Its not just about flights its about the policy of entering the country, testing etc.

I just want to add Air Mauritius, they also have the permit to fly to Tana and offer flights to Europe. But in case of that route ask for condition on Mauritius. Could be a problem or not. I did not inform. Neosair, now flights are available in April only.

I left Madagascar in March 2020 on the day before they closed the border on the last commercial flight out. And after that chaos, I'll be damned if I'm going to be on one of the first flights in. Mada can wait a long time before I'll go back.

I can see some flights available, not every days and minimum is 1117 euros to go and I see some others for return around 990 euros.
So yes, there are flights from Paris, but cost is a bit unusual.

Why do you worry. Most countries are redlisted anyway. So unless you're French Spanish or Portuguese the chance is NIL to board an aircraft to TNR. And if the TDF / OLA rebels topple the government in AA then Addis will be closed for a long time as international hub. In addition, they offer flights although they not have yet landing rights in Madagascar. Wait until the Madagascar Ministry of Tourism announces that ET also is approved. But you can book AF, Neo, AirMad and Air Austral.

Flight
Ethiopian airlines start flying to Mada on Jan only. Why?
Many Mada girls already did the johnson and johnson vacassine but the Certificate they got is sloopy handwriting and in Malagash only without passport number or QR code.
