It is amazing how a couple dozen corrupt and ultra greedy fuckers at the top can basically sabotage an entire country. Yes it would probably be a hit to our hobby (a ST is 7 euros now!? Mon dieu!) but the country has so much potential if ever realized. Many (including me) have bemoaned the deterioration of old well established pussy places but Mada never even seems to be able to get to the point where that has even started to happen. The one saving grace for the place I suppose, at least as far as we are concerned. Not sure about paying 200 plus Euro for a lousy 1-2 hour flight, even if you could book one.

With the present situation of expensive domestic fligths plus roads in a very poor condition there are two options:

Choose to fly direct to Nosy Be and stay all your time in the new "Pattaya of the Indian ocean"; High prices, hard core professional girls, mediocre food, plenty of package tourists same as on Mallorca's Ballermann. But that is not Madagascar.

Choose Tana if you can communicate in French (plus basic in Malgache. And from there take your time with very long and painful trips on Soatrans vans through the red island with adventures everywhere. Cheap. Mada-style, Mora Mora.

Yes, you can also hire a 4 x4 with driver to roam along the 2000 km roads of the island But the total price for the slow ride on the bumpy roads is at the end equal to the high flight prices.

We're talking about domestic flights not International ones. If Quatar airlines pays the requisite bribes to the Merina Mafia they are allowed to land. Nobody touches this bankrupt airline called Madagascar Airlines. They're 70% overstaffed. Everybody knows that. Now they're looking for someone stupid enough to pay for their debt. The DJ tries to collect money from the gulf states. As Pokeris pointed out already now the few domestic flights are at least 200€ per leg. Before the lowest tariff if you booked early was around 110€.

I am planning a month stay on the island. People have mentioned it would get boring. I am not much for socializing, just enjoying the environment, relaxing and having an evening guest or 2. In your expert opinion is a month too long? Would it be better to split it with another part of the country?

Oh, I don't know. I used to post pics of girls without covering their faces, as did many others. But over the years it seems to have fell out of favor for this concern of anonymity. But really, the only people that see these photos are us, guys who are actively mongering. The girls don't access this site, and neither do their Malagasy boyfriends or mothers or family. I miss doing it, but it has become "frowned upon" in our community so I just don't anymore.

I for one will not complain or ridicule if anyone wants to post their beautiful girls. In fact I would love to see them, we probably have some in common!

By the rather small size of the town you will finde the hangouts at night by the sound of the music, just follow to it. Al within walking distance, exercise your stamina and by the way you do not need "Enzoy" after all.

It is a great adventure and you should practice your common sense too since you are on thin ice.

You are customer by all means, do not interfere in any argument, just watch and enjoy. Stay on the side unremarkable, interested girls will notice you anyway. Just eye contact.

Do not get drunk and stay alert at any time even in your sleep. LOL.

Plenty to discover but just a couple of nights at one place like that, safety first.

Never tried and outside the usual "hotspots".

May you give us details like pickup points, where to hungout in nightime, places to sleep and eat, shape and price of girls?

Antsirabe is nice for just max 5 days like most places.

It depends on your skills an liking.

The best towns to me were Moramanga and Manakara, but that is just me I guess.

In general I would say Tana and Tamatave.
